Christine blinked and looked at Kali. "Yeah, just..." She sighed. "I can't get this out of my head, like there's something I'm missing, or something I should know, or..." She shrugged helplessly. "It's driving me nuts but I can't figure it out."

"Sleep on it," Kali suggested. "That helps, sometimes." She looked thoughtful for a moment. "I think tonight is a full-sleep night, anyways. All three of us will be sleeping at the same time."

Christine nodded. "Yeah, I'll do that, see if that helps any." She stretched briefly.

"Go get some rest, then," Kali said. She gave Christine a brief hug. "See if things are a bit clearer in the morning."

Christine nodded and hugged Kali briefly before heading up to her room to see if she could get some sleep and hope things would magically become clearer.

Kali cleaned up the kitchen, and then wandered her way to the Tryad's bedroom to settle in. The three traded off who would sleep in the bed and who would simply sleep, and it was Kali's turn.

Christine got up earlier than normal the next morning, going back to her books and compiling information on half a dozen demons, and was still madly working when the Tryad got up.

Because clearly sleeping on it had helped, some.

Bahiti shuffled into the kitchen, looking for some coffee.

"Morning," she mumbled to Christine.

"Morning. There's coffee in the pot already." Christine glanced up from her research before she went back to scribbling.

"You're amazing," Bahiti said as she made her way to the coffee machine.

"I know." Christine grinned and gave her a few minutes to wake up before she spoke again.

"I have a list of possible suspects, too."

"Really?" Tamara's voice came out of Bahiti's mouth, showing just how half-asleep Bahiti still was. Rolling her eyes a bit, she moved over to let Tamara take control.

"Yeah. I was thinking, there are hundreds of demons that deal in disease, but this is more like an epidemic. Not just anyone can pull it off, right? So I started going through again, and the list of demons with the amount of power necessary to do something like this is a lot smaller." Christine grinned briefly.

"Interesting," Tamara said, sipping at the coffee. She made a face. "Ugh, you let Bahiti put mint into the mocha again, why did you let her do that?"

"I didn't let her do anything, I was sitting way over here when she did that," Christine said with a grin. "Don't blame me, I'm innocent."

Tamara set the mug down and got up, going to make herself a fresh cup in a different mug. This one was just a straight-up mocha, and she sat down again with a sigh.

"So, what should we do with this new list, then?" she asked. "Take it to the wizard first, or the brothers?"

"I'd say the wizard first. You said the brother you talked to wasn't exactly being forthcoming, so the wizard sounds like he'd be more help at this point." Christine shrugged. "We can go to the brothers after."

Tamara nodded.

"Alright," she said. "One of us will go out in a bit, then."

"No rush, I still need to shower." Christine set aside her notes, now that she actually had some good ones, and stretched before she got up. "Save some coffee for me please."

"So do we," Tamara said, nodding. "And there's plenty of coffee left."

"Awesome, I'll be down in a bit." Christine went to go take her shower.

She emerged a while later in a blue shirt that matched her eyes and black jeans, her hair loose for the moment while it dried. "Alright, shower's open." She headed to the kitchen to get more coffee.

"Thanks," Tamara said. Getting up, she headed upstairs. While one sister could eat for all three, all three had to bathe themselves.

Christine was content to sit and wait, drinking another two cups of coffee and compiling a bit more data before she was pretty much ready.

Tamara came down the stairs a little while later in a green shirt and jeans. The shirt was a plain basic tee, and the jeans looked slightly loose, indicating that she put them on just in case she had to let either of her sisters take control. They weren't all exactly the same shape, after all.

"Ready?" she asked, slipping on a pair of shoes.

"Yup." Christine got up and headed for the door, moving outside and stretching briefly. "Right, off to see the wizard."
