"If you want, Bob and I can come up with some likely places to start," Harry offered. Because he had no idea how prepared the girls were to be going after a demon or god.

"You do that, we have a couple other people to talk to," Tamara said, getting up. "'We' in this case being my sisters and I. I try not to speak for Christine."

Christine just snickered as she got up. "Yeah, yeah, I'm going with you."

Harry nodded. "Alright. I'll see you again soon, then."

Tamara nodded in return and let Christine leave first before following her out the door.

Christine waited until they were outside again before she grinned briefly.

"See, I'm not crazy for telling you I hear angels."

"We never said you were crazy," Tamara replied. She was quiet for a moment, and then grinned. "And we are never, ever going to mention this to then nun who lives next-door. You would never, ever be allowed to skip Mass ever again."

Christine shook her head vehemently. "Good god, no, never mentioning this. She'd either drag me with her to every Mass or shriek something unholy at me." She shivered briefly. "Neither option is desirable."

Tamara just grinned.

"Bahiti is cackling, just so you know," she informed her friend. "And I think Kali wants to giggle, but isn't."

"Yeah, well, if either of them tells anyone else I will find some way to make retribution sweet and long-lasting." Christine grinned.

Tamara just snerked and kept walking.

"It makes a lot of sense, though," she said after a moment. "The thing with you. It makes a lot of things make sense."

"Yeah, it does," Christine agreed quietly. "It's still kind of odd, though. I mean, I never knew. And now I kind of want to know more."

Tamara was quiet for a moment.

"Maybe you should let Sister Ruth drag you to Mass," she said, grinning teasingly.

Christine gave her a Look, sniffed indignantly, and stalked back towards their house so they could go talk to the brothers.

Tamara ignored the Look easily and kept pace with Christine. Briefly, she contemplated switching places with Kali or Bahiti, and then decided not to. It was about time for her to 'meet' the brothers for herself.

Christine looked over at her before heading up to the door and knocking.

It took Niko a few moments to respond, and then he blinked at the two.

"Niko, right?" Tamara asked without missing a beat. "You've met my sisters, Kali and Bahiti?"

"Indeed I have." Niko looked at her. "And I believe my brother has met you." He switched his gaze to Christine.

"Sort of. I'm Christine." She nodded to him.

Niko returned the nod. "You have information?" he asked quietly.

"We have something, at least," Tamara said. "More than yesterday."

"Oh?" Niko blinked at them. He'd talked to Ish in the meantime, so he had a better idea of what they were looking for now.

"I don't think it's a good idea to discuss it in the doorway," Tamara said pointedly.

Niko hesitated for only a moment before he moved aside to let them into the main room. "Cal," he called, looking over at his brother, both as warning and a reminder to play nicely.

Christine made a face when she saw Cal but she didn't say anything, just following Tamara inside.

Cal made a bit of a face when he saw Christine, but he didn't make any move to cause trouble. He figured there would be plenty of time for that later on.

Tamara went in, although she didn't sit down immediately.

Niko didn't move to sit either, looking at the girls.

"You were saying?" he prompted Tamara after a few moments.

"We have a list of potential suspects for the sickness," Tamara said. "One of our contacts had a similar list, so we cross-referenced the two."

"Good. I talked to one of our contacts. He thinks a demonic source is more likely." Niko was still getting his head around that, since he and Cal had never run into anything demonic.
