Katherine followed, steering Leila towards the more historic parts of town.

"Hey," Carlos said after a few minutes. "If we hurry, we might be able to catch the last tour of Stoker's house." He grinned.

Leila snickered. Oh that sounded fun.

"Well, lead the way," she said, grinning at Carlos.

Katherine had to grin, too. She had to appreciate the irony of a pair of vampires touring the house of Bram Stoker. She gestured for the two to go, and Carlos took the lead. It didn't take long for the trio to make it to the little tourist spot, and Carlos let Leila go in first.

Leila took her time touring the house, grinning. Because really this was just hysterical and ironic and she loved it.

Katherine trailed behind, looking around. It was amusing, listening to the tour guide. She had to resist piping up about some of the inevitable vampire lore questions, though. She could hear Carlos snickering at them.

Leila just grinned. Because, really, this was just too fun.

"I'm glad we didn't skip this," she muttered as they left. "That was too fun."

"No kidding," Carlos replied, grinning. "That was great. Wonder if Uncle's seen it yet?"

"I think so," Katherine replied. "I would surprise me if he hasn't."

"He probably laughed through the whole thing," Leila said with a grin.

"Probably," Carlos agreed, grinning. He checked the time. "It's starting to get a bit late, feel like heading back to the hotel? You need sleep, right?"

"Yeah. Should probably grab a snack too." Leila shrugged, stretching a bit. "We can head back whenever."

Carlos nodded and walked with her as Katherine followed them both.

"So, pretty good vacation still?" he asked as they walked.

"Yeah, now that it's calmed down a bit." Leila smiled. "How about you? How's your impromptu vacation?"

"Can't complain," Carlos said, grinning a bit. "Good weather, pretty girl... I think it's going great."

Leila snorted at that, fighting down a blush. By now she knew that Carlos flirted pretty much habitually.

Carlos just grinned. Hey, it was just harmless flirting.

Leila ended up back in her room in the hotel, taking a quick shower before trying to settle down to sleep. Keyword being trying.

Once Leila was safe in her room, Katherine went out for a quick hunt. She wandered around the city for a while afterwards, and paused when she realized her wanderings brought her back to the little shop from before.

Pritkin was still awake and swearing as he made a few things in the back room and one of them nearly blew up in his face. He hated vendors who didn't filter their stuff appropriately.

From outside, Katherine could faintly hear the pops and swears from the back room. Quietly, she opened the door and stepped into the shop, not bothering to silence the bell. She didn't care if he knew she was there.

"One minute," Pritkin called from the back. He hurried to finish the spell he was working on and set everything down, going out to see who was there.

"No need to rush, just me," Katherine called back as she wandered the shop a bit.

"Back again, are we?" Pritkin sounded amused as he approached her.

"I was wandering," Katherine replied, glancing at him. "My path brought me back here."

"Ah." Pritkin was quiet for a moment. "Well, is there anything you need? Or are you going to wander again?"

"If you're asking if I need anything as a customer, no," Katherine said. She was quiet for a moment. "Although, if it's all the same to you, I'd rather not drift all night."
