Elaine grinned back, and leaned against him with a sigh.

"You're relaxing," she observed. She smiled a bit. "I'm glad."

Steve snorted quietly. "Yeah, I'm relaxing," he agreed quietly. "Hard not to, since it's nice and quiet here." He wrapped both his arms around her, getting comfortable.

Elaine snuggled close, settling with him.

"I like this," she commented softly. "Just us. It's nice."

"It is," Steve agreed quietly. "Maybe we should get away somewhere for a weekend?" He looked down at her.

Elaine smiled at him.

"Sounds like fun," she said. "I'd like that."

Steve nodded and made arrangements for them to go away for a weekend. He was naturally excited when the appointed weekend arrived, borrowing one of Tony's cars for the trip.

Elaine was excited for the trip, too. It would be the first time were it would be just the two of them, and she was looking forward to it. Of course, she had bought a little something special for the trip, but she wasn't sure if she would even end up unpacking it. She had it ready, though.

When she heard the car pull up out front, she grabbed her bag and went out to meet him.

"Ready?" she asked.

Steve nodded, grinning at her. "Whenever you're ready to go," he agreed, opening her door for her.

Putting her bag into the car, Elaine got into her seat and waited for Steve.

"So where are we going? You said you made the arrangements, right?"

"Yeah, I made arrangements. I figured we could go somewhere quiet for the weekend." Steve shrugged. He'd managed to convince JARVIS to help him with some research and had picked a nice hotel on the beach a few hours up the coast, just outside a quaint little town.

"Sounds like a plan to me," Elaine said, settling in for the ride. "Quiet's nice."

Steve nodded and settled in for the drive. He'd even managed to hook up his own iPod this time, though he handed it over to Elaine so she'd have control of the music.

He parked in front of the hotel and got out, opening her door for her. "We're here."

Elaine got out and looked around. It was a nice hotel, really, and it wasn't too far away from the town nearby. Nice and quiet, just like they wanted.

"I like it," she said.

Steve grinned. "I got some help from JARVIS," he admitted, leading the way to the front desk to get the key to their room. "This looked like a nice quiet place."

"And JARVIS probably had some help from Claudia," Elaine added as she walked with him. "I think she's learned my preferences already." She grinned. "I'm betting this place has a hot tub and everything."

Steve chuckled. It did indeed have a hot tub. But she'd find that out when they got up to the room.

It took him only a minute to get the key, and he carried their bags up to their room. Well. Small suite actually since Tony wouldn't let them get away with anything so normal as a single room.

Elaine paused when she saw the room. It was more than just a room, and she immediately knew whose fault it was. Tony had a habit of meddling.

"I'm impressed," she commented as she looked around. "Tony managed to bully you into a suite."

Steve shook his head. "He did this on his own," he said with an amused sigh. "I guess JARVIS told him." Somehow, though, he wasn't actually upset with the genius.

"JARVIS and Claudia," Elaine said, nodding. "Would not surprise me." She grinned a bit. "Although I will take advantage of that hot tub."

"Go right ahead." Steve grinned briefly and set their things down, investigating the suite.

"Promise to join me when you're done exploring?" Elaine asked with a bit of a grin. "You'll like the hot tub, I swear."

Steve blushed a little but nodded after a moment. "I will," he agreed quietly. He hesitated a moment before walking over to kiss her quickly.

Elaine returned the chaste kiss and then went to change into her bathing suit. Then she went to find the hot tub. She moaned slight as she sank into the hot water and just relaxed.

Steve explored a bit before he changed into a pair of swim trunks that Tony had ordered for him (so they were, of course, red white and blue) before he went to join Elaine.

Elaine was relaxing, up to her neck in hot water. She glanced over when Steve came in, and moved over to make room.

"It's wonderful," she said. She grinned a bit. "And I'm betting you didn't buy those yourself, did you?" She knew that 'Captain America' wasn't all he was, now, and that he had his own preferences to take into account.
