"No, I didn't. I'm betting Tony bought them." Steve sighed but moved over into the hot tub anyway. At least they weren't in public.

"Remind me later to take you out to get you a pair you actually like," Elaine said as she relaxed in the hot water. She sighed softly. There was a jet right at her lower back that just felt amazing.

Steve grinned briefly and relaxed into the warm water. Okay, yeah, this was very nice. He was going to have to do some investigating and find out if Tony's house had one of these, because this would be nice after a hard mission.

"I want one of these," Elaine commented after a moment. "We have to make Tony buy one. Or six. Or however many it takes."

Steve chuckled. "It is nice," he agreed mildly. "First let's see if Tony has one in his Malibu house. We can talk to him about putting one in the Tower later."

"It'll take some convincing to get him to put one into the tower," Elaine said. She glanced at Steve. "He doesn't like water much. I'm betting he tolerates showers, but he refuses to swim."

Steve blinked at that. He still hadn't heard the whole story of Afghanistan, but after a moment he just nodded and accepted it.

"And yet he likes seeing to the comfort of others," he pointed out. "If you hint enough, it might be a Christmas present or something."

"We'll have to see," Elaine said. She tilted her head back with a soft hum. "I'd move over closer to you, but I really like this jet on my back. It feels really good. So I'm not moving."

Steve laughed quietly and obligingly moved over closer to her, brushing some hair out of her face before he settled down, stretching out as much as he could.

Elaine leaned against him a bit, content.

"So do we have a plan for this weekend?" she asked after a little while.

"Practically nothing. There's a little museum nearby I thought you might like to visit, but we don't have to. Otherwise, just walking around." Steve shrugged, sinking lower in the tub. "Whatever we want to do."

"The museum should be fun," Elaine said. She grinned a bit. "We can relax today, order room service for dinner, then spent tomorrow out and about and have dinner somewhere nice. Sound good?"

"Sounds good," Steve agreed, smiling and settling in there. He was more than happy to relax for a while.

Elaine reluctantly got out of the hot tub a while later to put on comfortable clothes and order room service.

"Anything in particular you want for dinner?" she asked Steve.

Steve was quiet for a moment. "Mac and cheese?" he asked quietly. It had been a treat for him growing up, since he only got it once in a while, and he hadn't had any since he'd had his procedure and become a super soldier. Mac and cheese wasn't exactly easy to find on the front lines of World War II, after all.

Elaine smiled a bit.

"Sure," she said. "For both of us." Because she loved it as a kid, too, and never really stopped.

Steve nodded, pleased, and got out of the hot tub after a few more moments, drying off quickly before going to find some suitable clothes to change into.

By the time Steve was dressed again, Elaine had already put in the room service order. They had sounded surprised when she specified how much she wanted to have brought to the room, but the staff was very professional and took it in stride.

"Half an hour," she said to him as she hung up the phone and sprawled out on the bed.

Steve nodded, moving over so he could sit by her head, absently carding his fingers through her hair. "Sounds good," he said quietly, smiling down at her. Clearly he was pleased with how this vacation was going.

Elaine sighed softly and relaxed as he ran his fingers through her hair.

"Nearly gave myself a heart attack when I went through my bag," she commented. "Thought I forgot something at home. But it's all good, I have everything." Of course, she wasn't about to up and tell him she thought she forgot the black-and-gold bra and panty set she'd bought, but still.

Steve hummed quietly. He hadn't packed much anyway, and he was still confused why women felt the need to pack so many usually extraneous things, but he wasn't about to say that.

Elaine stretched a bit, and then reached for the remote.

"Let's see what on for movies," she said. She grinned. "I'm sure there's some sort of sci-fi on that you should see."

Steve snorted. "Tony thinks there are a lot of movies I need to see," he grumbled. "I don't see what his fascination is."

"Pop culture," Elaine replied as she flipped through channels. She grinned when she found the first Pirates movie. "This'll do. Pirates are always fun in movies."

"Pirates?" Steve blinked, thoroughly confused, but he sat down next to her anyway. He trusted she wouldn't show him some horrible movie, after all.
