Loki sighed. "Fine. You'll be responsible for her, then," he said. "Go make introductions, brother."

Kae grinned hugely and scuttled over next to Thor, clearly looking forward to meeting the group.

Eros blinked and looked over, grinning briefly when he saw Thor and a human. "Looks like we've got company."

"Oh goodie. Cute company, too." Calix grinned.

"Friends!" Thor boomed as he brought Kae over to the Greeks. "It is good to see you again!"

"Thor," Athena said evenly, nodding. She glanced at Kae. "Your companion?"

"Cousin of the Man of Iron," Thor replied. He stepped to the side slightly so they could see her. "Her name is Kae."

"Really? Iron Man has a cousin?" Eros blinked.

"Oh think of the potential!" Calix's grin was a little more evil this time around.

"Boys, behave," Aphrodite chided, beaming at Kae, who turned faintly pink and smiled back shyly. "Well, Thor, I must say I'm surprised. It's been a long time since you or Loki has brought a guest."

"I must admit, it would have surprised me as well, if I did not know my brother as I do," Thor replied. He wasn't unaffected by Aphrodite, but he was also used to ignoring passive influence from others. He glanced at Eros and Calix with a 'don't even think about it' look.

"One of your brother's plots to stir up some trouble, then?" Aphrodite asked, looking amused. "Well, a human is a good way to go about that, I'll admit."

"If he has trouble planned, I have no knowledge of it," Thor replied. "Although I think, perhaps, this once it is less trouble he has planned and more just something different." He shrugged, in a 'you know how he is' kind of way. He wasn't about to go advertising the fact that Loki had taken a shine to the girls. That wouldn't end well.

Aphrodite laughed quietly. "Ah, yes. Well your brother is entertaining, at the least. And your little human is rather cute."

"I doubt entertaining is the word he would use," Thor replied, grinning a bit. "Regardless, Kae and Elaine are my brother's guests for the event."

"Very interesting." Aphrodite looked amused. "Well, Thor, I do hope we run into each other again soon." She shooed Calix and Eros away from the pair before the two gods could plan too many devious things.

Athena, however, didn't leave with Aphrodite and her spawn. She looked at Kae for a moment longer.

"Curious," she said finally. "I see no logical reason why you would be here."

Kae shrugged. "Maybe Loki wanted to show off?" she suggested a little timidly. "Or stir up interest?" Both were plausible reasons, after all.

"Both plausible, given who he is," Athena acknowledged. "But somehow it doesn't seem right." She was quiet for a moment longer, thinking. "I suppose it will be revealed in time."

"Perhaps," Kae agreed. "If Loki doesn't just keep the reason to himself just for the entertainment factor, anyway."

Athena cracked a very small smile.

"Indeed," she said. "He is likely to do that."

Kae smiled a little in return, feeling a little relieved.

"I'm sorry, we must be keeping you from something," she said after a moment. Hey, it was a polite way out, since she didn't feel comfortable around the other gods yet.

"This whole gathering is keeping me from something," Athena said dryly. "I did not want to be here; much, I suspect, like quite a few others who have deigned to grace us with their presence. However, I doubt I should keep you from your trickster much longer." She tilted her head a bit towards Loki. "He does not seem to be the patient type when it comes to what's his."

"Not exactly," Kae agreed with a little grin. "He's a trickster, he doesn't do patient unless it's for a prank." She inclined her head to Athena before she took a step back so she could head back to Loki.

Athena inclined her head in return and turned to wander off somewhere else, leaving Kae to do what she wanted.

Kae meandered back to Loki with Thor. She wanted to look around, but she also didn't want to step on any toes or piss off Loki.

Elaine managed to make her way back a little while later, looking more than a little overwhelmed.

"Everything okay?" Kae asked quietly when she saw Elaine. Poor girl looked shellshocked.

"It was... unreal," Elaine said. "Just so completely amazing. They wanted me to tag along with them for the rest of the convention, and..." she trailed off and glanced at Loki. "But I told them I was already here with someone else." And it had left her kind of conflicted, really, since she wanted so much to tag along with her gods, but she also didn't want to offend Loki at all since she had to live with him part of the time. There was no real way to please everyone in the situation.

"Ah. Yeah, I understand." Kae shrugged. "Maybe ask Loki if he minds if you spend some time with your gods?" It was an idea, at least.

"Maybe," Elaine said. "We'll see what happens. For now, I'm back here."

Kae nodded. "Well, you didn't miss much. Thor introduced me to a group of Greeks, but other than that, mostly we've just been hanging around."
