Kae left when the boulders arrived, and Tony got the boulders settled inside so Hulk had something to smash.

Hulk wasn't sure why rocks were being brought in, until Kae left the room. Then he understood, and he roared and smashed the first rock.

Bruce left the room with Kae, keeping an eye on her but trying not to be overbearing.

Kae made it up to the living room before she had to sit on the couch for a bit.

"Well, this is an adventure," she said, her voice dry. "I don't think anyone expected you to be around to help deal with Hulk."

"This entire situation is wrong," Bruce said as he sat down next to her, cautious out of habit. He looked at her. "Are you still doing alright?"

"Yeah," Kae said with a little sigh. "Tired, but alright." She leaned against his side.

Bruce put his arm around her, pulling her a bit closer and cautiously resting his hand on her belly.

Kae considered his hand for a minute before letting it stay. She figured he deserved it after the day they'd had.

Bruce gently rubbed her belly with the tips of his fingers, but didn't do more than that.

"I'm surprised," he said quietly. "I didn't think he would be so... controlled."

"Honestly, neither did I," Kae admitted. "But hey, I was right that there's some information flow between the two of you."

"You were right," Bruce conceded, holding her. "And it's a good thing there is--was." Because he still wasn't sure what had actually happened, or if it would be fixable.

"Yeah. We just need to figure out what happened, keep him from going on a rampage, and get down ground rules and keep everyone safe. That's all." Kae sighed, even more exhausted thinking about everything they had to do.

"I don't remember much from the fight," Bruce admitted, frowning a bit. "I remember coming to in the middle of everything, and then getting hit from behind, and that's it. I don't even remember who we were fighting, aside from the frost giants."

"Well, let's think who comes with frost giants. Besides Loki." Kae paused. "Why don't we ask Loki what he thinks is going on?"

"It's not a bad idea, if he feels like answering and if he feels like telling the truth," Bruce pointed out.

"We can have Elaine ask, he generally answers her, even if it is in riddles." Kae shrugged. "Or I can go find him."

"I'd rather you stay with me," Bruce said honestly. "I think one confrontation with a hyper-dangerous entity is enough for one day, isn't it?"

"Probably," Kae agreed with a little snort. "I'll ask Elaine if she can go bug him. She's least likely to get smote."

"Teachers don't typically smite their apprentices," Bruce agreed, nodding. "She's likely the best choice."

Kae nodded and pulled her phone out to text Elaine.

Hey, you mind asking Loki if he has any idea what happened with Bruce and Hulk?

I can ask. Elaine replied. She was already in the same room as Loki, since the god had insisted she practice flying for a while. Carefully, she got her feet under her again and landed on the floor.

"So do we know what happened earlier?" she asked, looking at Loki.

"I suppose that would depend on what occurrence you and referring to," Loki said with a grin. "Be more specific."

"You know what I'm talking about," Elaine said. "Bruce and the Hulk."

"Ah that incident." Loki was quiet for a moment. "Have you looked at them yet? Take a look at Banner and tell me what you see around him."

"What am I supposed to look for?" Elaine asked.

"What have I been teaching you to look for?" Loki shot back. "You'll know it when you see it."
