Elaine smiled, and leaned over a bit to kiss him. Then she had Claudia ping Tony to let him know it was safe for people to come in and see the twins.

Kae was first, having handed Rose off to Bruce for the moment. She smiled at the four.

"They're darling," she said, examining Vanessa first. "Not as cute as Rose, but I also didn't carry them for eight months."

"No, I did," Elaine replied, grinning teasingly. "Which means I'm allowed to think they're the most perfect things on this planet." She gestured to the newborns in turn. "Vanessa, and Bram. Bram is short for Abraham."

Kae smiled. "Very cute. And very fitting. I love those names."

Elaine smiled and cuddled her son.

"I do, too." She looked at Kae. "Do you want to hold one of them?"

"Just for a minute. Then I'll let you get some sleep." She grinned when Steve handed over Vanessa and went to go touch Bram's cheek. "Hey there little girl. Bet when you're older you'll be friends with my little Rose."

Vanessa just blinked up at her, hazel eyes the same color Elaine's were.

Elaine handed Bram to Steve, letting him hold his son for a while.

Kae chuckled quietly. "Little cutie," she said quietly. "Rosie's gonna be jealous, I've been cheating on her with another cute little girl."

Elaine couldn't help but snicker a bit.

"I'll bet," she teased gently.

Kae grinned and shook her head, handing Vanessa over to Elaine.

"Go ahead and get some rest," she said. "I'm sure you're exhausted."

"I am," Elaine admitted as she took the newborn back. "Very. I just don't want to let these two go quite yet."

"Well, cuddle them for a bit and then get some rest. I'll tell everyone to leave you alone until mid-morning." Kae smiled and headed for the door. "Sleep well."

"Thanks," Elaine said. She did indeed cuddle her daughter for a little bit. She'd already cuddled Bram for a little while, it was Steve's turn for that.

Kae was sitting in the living room with Rose and the twins, watching them all to give Elaine a bit of a chance to relax and practice for a bit. That was always entertaining to watch.

Elaine was in the living room as well, although more of her attention was focused on her practicing. She trusted Kae with the twins, so she wasn't too worried about taking her attention off of them for the moment. She muttered under her breath as she tried to wrangle her magic under control. For whatever reason, it was unruly at the moment.

Kae, of course, couldn't tell, and just had her hands full keeping the children quiet and entertained. Telekinesis came in handy for that as she floated a bottle over for Vanessa.

Elaine blinked and jumped a bit when her magic suddenly pulsed for a moment, but it calmed down after that. She looked around, trying to make sure nothing was out of place, and she reluctantly relaxed when nothing seemed unusual.

"That was weird," she commented.

"What did you do this time?" Kae asked calmly, bouncing her girl a little bit. She grinned as she levitated over a rattle.

"I'm not sure," Elaine said, feeling around cautiously with her magic. "Might have been a dud. I don't think anything's changed." Getting up, she went to sit on the floor with her little ones, casting some bright, colored sparks to amuse them. Bram and Vanessa both laughed and reached for them.

Kae shrugged and went back to playing with Rose, though she did look at the clock.

"I'll be starting dinner pretty soon. You want to help or stay on baby duty?"

"I can stay on baby duty," Elaine said. "You go on. Let me know when it's ready." Because now she wanted to spend time with her little ones, and there really wasn't anyone else to look after them; most of the Avengers were off on separate missions at the moment, although they were due back later that night.

Kae nodded and left Rose with Elaine, going into the kitchen to start on dinner. She made enough for everyone so that when the Avengers all got back there would be food readily available. Which was better than Thor gorging himself on Pop-Tarts.

Elaine settled Rose in with Bram and Vanessa and kept an eye on the three of them while Kae went to cook. Clint was the first one to filter back in, looking a little worse for wear but not really injured. He grinned when he saw Elaine and the kids, and briefly came over to greet the three little ones before heading on to the kitchen to try to snitch food.

"Out of the kitchen, Clint," Kae said, threatening him with a floating wooden spoon while she stirred stuff. "It'll be ready in ten minutes and then you can have as much as you want."

"But I'm hungry now," Clint whined, although he was grinning as he was herded out of the kitchen again.
