Nidais crawled closer to Lulu until he could lay down on his stomach beside the other man. With a small smile he reached out to play gently with the demon's hair. "You could tame anyone," teased the shapeshifter with mirth in his eyes. They needed to keep tracking the dragon, who apparently had a few days ahead of them. Even so, this respite was welcomed by Nidais. His golden eyes showed his happiness as he spoke again, softly this time.

"I'm not going to lie, if anyone but you had found me I would have run away by now. Isn't that funny? I have to ask, even though we've only known each other a short time, do you truthfully enjoy my company?" Tracking the dragon, keeping his word, it had all gotten tangled up in his feelings for Lulucian. It was important for Nidais to hear that he was wanted, even in such a little way as for company.

How true those words were, well mostly true. Lulu could essentially tame anyone. With his voice or even with deception, if Nidais knew the truth about Lulu though it would undoubtedly hurt the shifter. For a moment, that thought troubled Lulu, but he pushed it aside very quickly. Relaxing a bit as the shifter began to play with his hair.

"Your company is a welcomed thing. The roads are long and the nights cold, it is good to be able to share such an arduous journey with someone." Lulu shifted his head slightly, looking from the sky to Nidais. "Honestly, I do not think I would enjoy another's company as much as I enjoy yours."

The smile Nidais wore turned into a grin. With a laugh he moved to hug the demon. It was the only sign of affection he allowed himself, when he wanted to do so much more. Pulling back, he lay back down by Lulu's side. "I'm glad you think so. Truly I am. Would you mind telling me about yourself?" Nidais would answer freely, if asked and if Lulu answered. He did so want to know about the other man, which eroded his will against speaking such things.

One thing was certain, Nidais didn't want Lulu to find out about his slowly fading sanity. The more he shifted without anything to anchor his mind, the likelier the copper haired man was to lose himself. That anchor could be anything, anyone, and right now it could have been Lulucian. If certain feelings were returned, something the shapeshifter doubted would happen.
