It's good that you get to play it with friends. :D I get distracted too easily, when I'm playing with other people. Like, playing against them is fine, but listening to them talk on group chat about non-game-related-things makes me get distracted and then people die... it's a hazard of gaming life. ;-;'

we talk about the most random things while playing. and then there's one guy we all rip into xD it's terrible, but it's too funny, and he doesn't really care so :shrug: I'm actually the one that's forever dragging the rest down, i'm newest to the group and i'm the worst player but they wait for me and help me~ i'm grateful that i've met them.

hmm...i don't know. do you? I want to get the secret ending (which i already know) but i don't want to go through the bad endings >.> the good endings already made me sad and tear up and stuff the bad endings will make me cry >.<

That sounds really good - as a newbie it's nice to have senior players around who have your back. :D You'll catch up to them, don't worry about it.

Aaaah, okay, never mind, I don't want to know. I will buy the game, get emotionally invested, and hopefully don't get any bad endings. T-T

but if you want the secret end you need to get all endings >.> and it's a rather nice secret end though also really sad >.> asians in general are good with heart-wrenching storylines i feel...considering the dramas we produce >.>

but yea, you should get the game :) the art is really nice and the stories are really well thought out, and the writers managed to connect everything which you find out through the secret end, lol

i mean, if you have a friend who buys the game, you can download the game on two computers. that's what i did. my friend in the phillipines can't buy the game so i bought it and gave her my account info so she could get the second download >.>

Free games are awesome, though, hohum. We should probably track down more of those and then share. Most of the time the free games are not so great of quality though.

What about ROMs, guys? Have you tried those? I know there exist a bunch of dating sims for PSP and the like, so it could be worthwhile to hunt down ROMs for that.

Roms for a psp would be bad since they are still selling. It's only ok-ish if the product is no longer selling. I have some ps1 roms and sometimes some snes roms. Plus my comp can't handle anything beyond ps1 and even some of the games don't work on my comp.

Roms are for testing if a game is good first

Well, there is THAT, of course...
But personally I only download roms when it's for a game that I can't get in my region? It's the same with my ds. Before, with my older DS, I would just buy the game no matter the region, because it wasn't region locked. But now that my old, first DS has begun to croak and I got a 3DS for my birthday - which IS region locked - there are a lot of games I'm missing out on simply because they aren't released for Europe, or for my country. Like the Rune Factory games - there's only ever been one released in my country, and I really LOVE those games.

So when it's for things like that, then, I think it's okay. I'm the type who always buys what she likes, be it about books, movies, music, manga,... and games. Plus, Poet does raise a point. xD If you can't try out the game at the game store, why not try it out via ROM.

It is a problem if your computer can't handle it, though, ho-hum. Back to the drawing board, then, to find other games of the same type!

I've never actually used ROMs before? I think my brother has one for his ds, but I just don't use my ds much and my psp is sadly not working. the analog stick is broken so i can't play anything D: I never even got to finish dissidium

I wish they'd translate more otome games though, cause there are a lot of them for the psp >.>

well, besides the broken part, it was a used psp that my friends bought me, and the previous owner stripped the screws, so i can't even get them out. i was gonna replace the screen cause I scratched it up by accident, but i can't even get the screws out so i can't replace anything >.<

Bleh sounds like you would have to destroy the screws to get it out...
