He did have a plushie? I didn't notice it at all. XD
I could never decide on a favorite character in UtaPri because I liked most of them equally, but I think that I'm leaning towards Ai.
I wanted to buy the Otoya figure that's for preorder, but seems it's sold out. :x I wonder if they'll make more, and hope they don't overcharge for more than it already is. It's hard enough as it is to find good bishounen figures.

Reason: typo
and yea he does, someone screenshotted the scene from the first episode i think it was? and he had a plushie of himself, a poster of the quartet, and like three pairs of maracas xD
I just found(again, I had it bookmarked years ago, never transferred it to this computer, and forgot the URL) a page that is basically a directory for a bunch of fan-made original English-language visual novels.
tThe URL is renai.us -- I think that there's a mirror site, but I don't know the URL for that one right now...
I've got this new computer, and the demos only seem to be equipped for vista and xp, as far as the most recent versions go, and I have windows 8 . I do have a desktop that has xp, but I'm heading to England for a month, and obviously it's staying put. And on top of that, the English patch for the demo seems to have been taken down. I suppose I still have access to the full (English ver.) of the game, when I get back...
I've got it up and running! I went for the full english version put out by the makers themselves, available on DLsite. It was just a matter of getting my silly computer prepped for it. But after a few updates and downloads, it's all good. And ridiculous.
considering the tears and the complete murder of my emotions by pigeons...I'd say Hatoful Boyfriend was pretty well put together for a game that had been meant to be a joke. xD
Have you played the first Hakuoki game(s)? I think it was for the ps2? (incidentally, i've never played it, lol, so i'm pretty sure there's actually only one on the ps2 but i'll put the 's' just in case)
I don't particularly like the iOS or android otomes, but I won't condemn anyone for playing them. only those that judge the entire genre based solely on the mobile games will I judge.

haha, all the ones i want to play are generally PC or PSP ones xD
Brilliant Blue for Brothers Conflict was released earlier this month, ahhh~ if only it weren't so expensive to order in the US, I would totally egt it... (and if my PSP wasn't screwed up)
Hm...what'd the last game you've played? I...played a very uhhh.../cough. the last one I played was a BL one, I think i'll leave it at that. Haha, I had planned on avoiding it, but Tumblr made it impossible. ((speaking of which Tumblr made me get into Shingeki too...arghhhh)
As for the phone ones, i've only played be my princess (or at least started and then gave up because I unfortunately have to play the 'for gree' vers.)
Urrrgh I want to play Brothers Conflict so bad. XD Too bad I don't understand Japanese!
Last game I played.... Probably Hiro's route from Love Letter from Thief X. :3 Ahaha, I think I know which game you're talking about... BL and Tumblr, say no more! XD
OMG I know. Shingeki is all over my dash and it doesn't seem like the kind of anime I'd be into so I'm just going all, "Must... resist... watching..." XD
Ahhh, I see. I've kinda been avoiding the GREE versions. :P
I haven't played any of the games myself, but I watch people play them on youtube. I mostly stick to animes and drama cds based on the games since they're more easily accessible to my lazy self. I prefer the BL ones, also. ^^
hm, I'm also reminded of My Candy Love. I was playing it for a while because I decided to ship Nathaniel and Castiel pretty much from the start. hehe...I didn't care for the normal dating sims qualities there.
@Goblin: I'm taking Japanese classes right now, and I'm so stoked to start reading the High Speed! light novel (Free! light novel) and I'm planning on going to buy the Brothers Conflict novels too :D
Hahaha, oh gosh i swear Tumblr has gotten me into so many things. i mean...just yesterday with Free! ending and all...dear god...
you're thinking of DMMd right? xD
yea, the GREE vers. are no good :/ they make you hate the games I feel.
@Kat: Haha, you might like the game I've been referring to then xD
Omigosh, drama cds...listening to Diabolik Lovers drama CDs while waiting for my bus was the worst idea ever. holy....geez.
oh wow, i haven't gone on My Candy Love in a while now that you remind me...xD
Oh? What game is that?
I think I know that drama cd. I randomly listen to them while doing homework. Always strange, but I can't stop myself.
I haven't been on in ages, but I thought about it today because I found a fanfic I was writing for it.
sounds interesting and I don't recognize it. I don't think that's the sort of title you would get in trouble for though. I type all sorts of sexual shit in my rps.
Do you know the games for Togainu no Chi or Animamundi? Now those are some messed up stories. I like them a lot though. Lately I've been watching the anime for Amnesia as well, which seems to follow its game counterpart a lot and has different endings.
The anime for Amnesia...really pissed me off with its ending to be honest...
I think i've seen togainu no chi mentioned a few times, bit I've never heard of the other one.
Haha, I really haven't been on Mene in a while, so better to be safe than sorry :)
Though honestly, I really do love DMMd despite the creepy bad endings, lol.
I tend to avoid the ones that are really messed up unless there's a good reason for me to look into them.
I've only seen the first episode! I hate the main girl a lot, but because I like the art and most of the guys, I may finish it.
The anime is really good, though there is no romance in it at all. I've been in love with the art and the dark theme of it though. It's gorey though. I read the mangas too (one of which is just a bunch of episodes based on the game).
I don't think anyone has heard of Animamundi. It's disturbing and inappropriate on all levels (sexual, gore, ideological, triggers), but it was one of my first games I saw and I like its freakiness. I now officially ship Mehphisto and Lucifer because of it!
eh, it's pg-13 here. of course you can't say whatever you want, but I don't think you have to walk on eggshells. I haven't gotten in trouble yet for some of the crass things I've said.
The thing is, with animes based off of otome games, i find that hating the protagonist is really kind of...stupid (no offense meant). The fact of the matter is, of course they wonm't really be the strong main leads that you'd like, they're from otome games for crying out loud, where you can't really do much except be that helpless girl.
In the Heroine's case though, I mean, would you be any better in her situation? Her memories all gone, surrounded by people who claim to know her, and also dying and reappearing in parallel universes all the time?
err...sorry, didn't mean to go off like that. i'm just a bit touchy on the subject of hating female leads of otome game adaptions. Cause their characters are really a lot more complex than people seem to look into them. Like...when people were hating on Ema Hinata from Brothers Conflict (anime ended last week) or even Komori Yui from Diabolik Lovers (the anime is airing now) because, seriously, if they took the time to do their research of the characters in the books/games that they were in before the anime, they'd realize that the anime really doesn't do them all justice.
ahhhh, sorrryyyy, i went off on my rant again >.>
actually right after you mentioned those two, i found the english patched games for them from the site i got DMMd from, lol, I was looking for DMMd Re:Connect and found them xD I might check them out when I have the time for it. I don't really get bothered much by these things...much more tolerant than my friends anyway I think.
I agree, but it makes watching the anime less enjoyable. plenty of games I know have great leads.
for Heroine, I think the moment I stopped liking her was when she was crossing a street zoned out and nearly got hit by a car. That's a bit much. ^^'
I don't mind the rant. I generally think better of the leads and I'm not that familiar with many games.
what's this site? I might need to look for some stuff. watching stuff on youtube is such a hassle.
So I just applied to be a beta tester for sakevisual's Backstage Pass! :D *twirls* I think it'd be fun to do... plus I'm kind of meticulous about my own writing/creative works, so it'd be rad to go over others' with a BIG red pen, aha. >:3
...not literally. This is a computer game after all. :3
Have any of you guys played Sweet Fuse: At Your Side? I found it to be a really good PSP VN that has a pretty good storyline. Though it's not heavy in the romance department. I reviewed last month if you want to learn a bit more about it: Sweet Fuse: At Your Side Review | Vivid Gamer
