Aislin blinked.

"It isn't a temple?" she asked. It certainly didn't sound like one.

Sabine shook her head.

"I don't know if he has one," she said quietly. "Where we were last night was inside a giant tree, basically."

"Were you alright there?" Aislin asked. She worried just as much about Sabine as Sabine did about her. "Will you be?"

"If I don't go out of my mind with boredom first, I think so." Sabine shrugged. She hadn't seen anything around the nest that had needed doing, at least nothing obvious. Nothing to clean, nothing to organize... not that she was interested in being domestic but it would at least give her something to do.

Aislin couldn't help but grin a bit.

"You never did so well with boredom," she agreed.

"Nope," Sabine said with an easy grin. "Still don't, which he'll soon find out if he doesn't give me anything to do for a day or two."

Aislin couldn't help but grin back, and she hugged her sister.

"I'm glad you'll be alright," she said.

"You, too." Sabine hugged her tighter. "I've been worried about you these past few days."

"You don't have to worry about me," Aislin said. "I'm fine." But she did appreciate it all the same.

Sabine shook her head, amused. "Yeah, that's like telling me not to breathe. Not gonna happen, Ash."

"I can still try," Aislin replied. She hugged her sister again. "Besides, I worry about you too, so we're even."

Sabine chuckled quietly. "Yeah, that sounds about fair to me," she agreed with a little smile. "Well, what now? Do we wait for them to tell us what to do?" She cast an evil look at the two gods.

"I don't know," Aislin admitted, glancing at the gods herself.

Cadr couldn't help but glance back at them.

"Think they're done?" he asked, nudging Saif.

"Looks like they are," Saif said with a shrug. "Or just about. Why? Thinking of dragging her back to your nest again?" He smirked, keeping his voice lowered. Because he didn't want to deal with shrieky women.

Sabine glanced at the gods again and glowered briefly. "Sod 'em. We should go for a walk."

"Contemplating," Cadr replied, looking at the women as well.

"Go where?" Aislin asked. She didn't refuse; she wanted to go with her sister. But it wasn't as if they could go far, was it?

Saif nodded, leaving the decision up to Cadr. He didn't mind however long they wanted to stay, so long as Cadr's human didn't start causing trouble.

Sabine shrugged. "Around the temple, into the woods a little ways. Anywhere, really." She released all of Aislin but her hand, starting to tug her towards the exit.

Cadr's attention was grabbed when he saw the girls heading towards the door.

"I should stop her," he commented dryly, watching them. "But I want to see what happens."

Saif snickered and shook his head, although he was watching the girls too. Hey, he could admit that he was curious.

Sabine pushed the door open and made her way outside, looking back at Aislin.

Aislin glanced hesitantly back at the two gods. Neither seemed to be making a move to stop them... She turned and followed her sister before she could second-guess herself.

Once the girls were out the door, Cadr looked at Saif, tilting his head a bit to indicate for his friend to follow. Then he shifted into hawk form and followed the girls. He wanted to see what was going to happen.

Sabine continued walking, starting to relax as she walked. She felt better outside than she did in the temple, or in Cadr's nest. She wasn't overly fond of either place.

Saif shifted into a small-ish snake, slithering after the girls to keep an eye on them.

Aislin was a bit jumpier than her sister, constantly glancing about as if expecting someone to tell them to go back at any moment. It took more than a few minutes for her to start relaxing like Sabine.

Cadr fluttered down onto a branch to watch the girls as they walked. So far, they didn't seem to be trying to actively escape. Interesting.

Sabine just sort of wandered around, mostly watching to see if anyone was going to go after them or tell them to go back inside or anything. She was kind of surprised they were seemingly being left alone.

"Okay, so, really. How do you like it there?" She glanced back at Aislin.

Aislin was quiet for a moment.

"Honestly?" she asked. "It's nice. He isn't demanding, and he doesn't mistreat me. For the most part, I'm left to my own devices."

"That sounds decent," Sabine said hesitantly. It sounded pretty nice, actually. She wasn't sure how long that would last, or how much it could be trusted, but it sounded nice enough. "And you have things to do? He doesn't just leave you lazing around going stir crazy?"

"Some things," Aislin replied. "I was organizing a storage room, and then the foodstuffs." She paused for a moment. "Although... I might run out of things to do, soon. The temple isn't really that big, and it's already clean."
