"Isabella knocked out most of the guards allowing us to get away. I promised her we'd help her find something as thanks for her help." Alexander explained to Alexis.

"The guards found us? Alexis asked then shook her head "Never mind, I'm guessing since we're sitting here chatting we lost them, so you can explain everything to me later." She said to Alexander "So what are we looking for?" She asked as she slowly got to her feet.
"I have been told that there is a guardian spirit hidden somewhere within these caves. Your brother has offered his and I suppose your help now as well in finding it. Isabella explained with a smile.

Alexander stood and offered Isabella his hand to help her stand up. "I am not sure why but I think this tunnel is the best route to search." Alexander commented as he looked Isabella over slowly. It was hard to believe this girl might be a mist touched. She was so sweet, so beautiful, so...curvy. Alexander thought as his eyes hit the cleavage of her dress and he turned red suddenly looking about for something else to focus on.

Isabella took Alexander's hand with a smile of thanks.
Alexis looked around "Well since I have no idea where we are I'd be game for that." She laughed a little as she turned back to look at Alex and Isabella "You know I really though I knew most of these caves pretty well... I guess tonight has proven I was wrong."

"yeah, well you know how..." Alexander was about to make a comment to Alexis when he caught sight of the crystal armlet on Isabella. "You have a crystal armlet now too. Do, you know what these are?" he asked curiously.

"What armlets? Alexis asked confused for a second then noticing it on both Alexander and Isabella she looked down at her own arm and noticed hers for the first time. She immediately started prodding it, distracted enough she was only sort of listing to Isabella answer to Alexander.
"I received mine when I touched Alexis after you jumped down into the pit. Isabella explained as she looked at her own crystal armlet "And I do know what they are... well somewhat anyway. There are many old legends of the four crystal warriors. It is said that the very crystals that balance the world had chosen four warriors to fight a great evil. The crystals gave them powers and abilities beyond what any normal person would be capable of. I would assume that these armbands are a mark of the crystals choosing us for something. Though I am unsure what that may be.

Alexander looked at his armband, "I see. That is good to know. I guess there is no sense in worrying about that right now then. We should probably move on ahead." Alexander suggested as he looked from Isabella to Alexis. "Normally, I would suggest Alexis leading through the tunnels but I'm not sure she is up to it. Would you like to lead or should I?" Alexander asked Isabella.

"I'm fine..." Alexis muttered but left her complaints at that since the truth of the matter was that her head still hurt quite a bit.
"I would like to lead if you do not mind." Isabella said with smile, then without waiting for a response from either twin turned and made her way up the hall.

Alexander gestured for Alexis to go ahead of him and he followed next to her. Alexander couldn't help but look over Isabella some more, there was something about her that he felt he should know. She was able to heal Alexis with magic. She was beautiful, he never pictured a mist touched being beautiful, but if she had an armlet then she wasn't mist touched was she. Wait a minute he thought... mist touch can't heal they only have dark magic which means. Alexander thought as his gaze moved up her body to her head, "princess!?" Alexander exclaimed, his jaw dropping a little as he stared at the circlet on her head.

Isabella stopped dead in her tracks when Alexander spoke. She froze for a second then turned to look at the twins with a small sigh "I suppose you have figured it out then." She said to Alex "Yes I am Princess Isabella of the kingdom Alfheim.
"Huh what? Princess? Alexis asked as she looked between Alexander and Isabella, as she tried to figure out what the hell was going on now.

Alexander scratched his head as he thought about it, "Makes sense at least. You seemed too good to be mist touched. Not to mention, rumor around the farms have been that the princess was missing for a few weeks." Alexander commented. Alexander gestured for everyone to continue walking, "Alexis, Isabella is the princess of castle Asguard. Alexander explained casually, then looked to Isabella "Isabella, what brings you here looking for a guardian?"

"I had hoped I was far enough away from home that I might not be discovered. I need to find the guardians to claim my birthright..." Isabella started to explain then jumped as Alexis suddenly grabbed her arm.
"Do you even realize hard your family has made things for the people here? Alexis snapped aggressively at Isabella "Taking nearly half of all our food supplies and tools or anything else we make here, corrupt guards that abuse their power to take anything and Anyone they want, while all the while you all just sit there in your cushy palace and get waited on hand and foot..." Alexis ranted, seemingly ready to take out all her frustrations on poor Isabella.

Alexander was stunned at the sudden outburst by his sister. Crap, rebel, he thought to himself. Alexander dashed forward to remove his sister's arm from Isabella, planning to get between the two, by the time he had reached his sister's arm he was in full armor. "Let her go!" Alexander demanded.

Isabella was leaning away from Alexis and didn't seem to know what to do at the moment.
Alexis stumbled a little as Alexander pushed her way between them but was right up in his face a moment later. "Why the hell should I?" Alexis continues, still in full righteous rebel rage at the moment "You know as well as I do how things are, and it's about time someone worked up the guts to tell the... royal family... She shot a look at Isabella that practically dripped with scorn. "Exactly what we all think of them.

"Yeah! How about what you think of her saving your life and mine for starters! Why not tell her what you think about that when you ponder everything else on your mind." Alexander yelled back at his sister. He then gestured to Isabella, "So far, she has done nothing but help us, even after seeing that the guards had us cornered. I still don't think its the royal family's fault. There has to be some other problem occurring, our father would not have worked for someone who is the way you describe them."

"So helping us is suppose to just make all the harm done just magically disappear is it? Alexis shouted right back "And what difference does it make if they gave the orders or not. They are still at fault! Laziness is not an excuse to ignore the problems of the people you are suppose to protect." This was the start of the same argument the twins had had countless times since Alexis had formed her rebel band.
Isabella looked between the two arguing sibling with a frown. She wasn't completely sure what they were fighting over, but it obviously revolved around their thoughts on her family. She felt she had better step in soon before they both said something they would regret. "Please don't fight. She cut in before the argument could continue any farther. She moved so she was standing beside them placed a gentle hand on each of their arms. "I'm afraid I have no idea what you are talking about." She said to Alexis "But once this is all over I will be happy to listen to what you have to say and see what can be done about the situations you have described, and please Alexander don't be angry with your sister." She turned and gave him a smile "She is only trying to stand up for what she believes in.

Alexander stared at his sister silently for a moment and then looked at Isabella, "I am not mad at her. Just disappointed that she always lets rage blind her." Alexander said quietly then turned and started walking down the passageway, his armor fading after a few steps.

Alexis just snorted and turned to stalk down the corridor after him not saying a word to either one, just muttering the random swear under her breath.
Isabella watched the two of them walk away for the moment before following them, she wondered briefly why the crystals would have chosen them. Alexander seemed simple enough, he struck her as a gently good person. His sister on the other hand... Well she was very passionate about her beliefs, maybe that was it.

After getting so far down the passageway Alexander stopped and pointed at the wall to his right. "This way." he said calmly and then stepped through the wall. Though he stopped immediately on the other side of it. He couldn't help but take a look about as the passage way here was marble. It also had some form of writing along the walls... seemingly the same on both sides and various etchings above it. Almost dragon like.

Alexis followed Alex through the wall and walked right into him "What the hell why did you stop..." Her words trailed off as she looked around "Wow." She breathed sounding impressed.
Isabella stepped through the wall a moment later, taking care to step off to the side after hearing Alexis' complaints. Once she had a chance to look around she went to one of the walls for a moment to get a better look at the writing.

Alexander took a couple steps toward the wall Isabella was at, "This is beautiful. I read that there were towers and great buildings built like this long ago when we lived below the mist... but to think something like this was so close under our feet." He commented as he touched the wall feeling the cold smooth stone. "Isabella, are these markings or words?" he asked curiously.

"I wasn't sure I ever really believed the stories before now. Alexis said with wonder as stepped around her brother and wandered slowly down the hall.
"They are words. Isabella said as she traced over the letters lightly "It's a very old language that few remember how to read. It lists the titles for the guardian who sleeps here.

Alexander started to walk down the hall, he felt like he should go to the end of it, "So... i'm guessing the guardian is some form of Dragon then? What is his title? Alexander asked curiously.

Isabella smiled and looked at Alexander "Yes he is a dragon and he apparently has many titles. Lord of the stars, Lord of the skies, the great dragon, the lord of the dragons, the list is quite lengthy. His name though is Bahamut." She explained as she joined him in going to the end of the hall.

"Bahamut... I like the sound of that name." Alexander looked at Alexis with a grin, "I think you are about to meet a true sky knight." He teased.
