A maid opened the door to Lynia's room. "Miss Lynia, it is Miss Kiyan." The maid said to the little girl at the vanity. Lynia just stood and walked to the door. "Good morning." She said to Kiyan sweetly. She was dressed in her favorite dress. A white and pink in color with a matching headband. She just grabbed Kiyan's hand softly. "Shall we go eat." She asked her curiously. "I'm very hungry." She stated the last one quietly. She wasn't sure why but she was very hungry this morning.

Kayo just talked to Adaza while he worked, once he was done. They made their way to the dining room. Kayo still talking about his findings so far in the library. Kayo really wanted to ask him all kinds of questions but thought against it.

"Good morning Lynia, how did you sleep?" Kiyan asked with a smile as she took the girls hand. "Did you remember to brush your teeth this morning?" she asked as she lead the little girl down to the dining room hoping that this time her and Adaza would be back to their usual selves, she hated seeing families upset or fight.

Lynia just walked with her and nodded. "Not really, I kept having aches that wouldn't let me sleep." She said sadly. "Yes, I brushed them twice as long since I missed last night." She said smiling softly. She rarely went to bed without brushing her teeth, only if she was very tired or sick did she. She walked into the dining room and gave her daddy a hug and kiss, which surprised him since how she acted last night. "Good morning my love. Feeling better?" Adaza ask his daughter who just nodded. She was still uncomfortable around him but she knew her daddy wouldn't hurt her in any form. "I'm glad." He said looking at her as she sat down. Adaza looked at Kiyan who walked in with her then back to his daughter. Both Kayo and himself had gotten there just a few moments before they did, they had barely enough time to sit down before they strolled in.

"I'll make sure to let Kayo know so he can make sure you're okay, maybe you just slept oddly?" Kiyan offered softly then smiled when she saw Lynia hug Adaza glad to see that she was trying. "Good morning you two, Adaza thank you for the gift, it was a nice surprise." Kiyan said as she sat down and Kayo started to grin "See that just proves it! I knew I was right" he laughed and Kiyan just shook her head at him before starting to eat once breakfast was served.

Adaza just nodded like always to Kiyan in reply but quickly turned to glare at Kayo. He really wanted to hurt him for that comment. "Kayo, join me for training afterward. I insist." He simply hissed darkly, there was no way in getting out of it and he was sure Kayo knew it. "As for the gift, it was a simple gesture of my appreciation for helping Lynia." Adaza said while his daughter ate away at her food, she looked at her father then to Kayo in curiousity. She hadn't see him train in a while her father. Again he wasn't sure why he was getting so defence on the subject but he never showed it. Well out of character at least. He went to his food and prepared it like he normally did before he started to eat. He was planning on brutally training Kayo today, so he needed his strength.

"I'm sorry I don't think I can, I need to work with Kiyan on Lynia's new medicine" Kayo smirked a little but was being honest, him and Kiyan hadn't finished with Lynia's medicine yet, they had been too focused on Adaza to do so. "Lynia is it okay if I take a little blood again? I want to make sure you're okay and we get the medicine right" Kayo asked softly to Lynia hoping she would be brave like she usually was. Kiyan had nodded a bit at Adaza's words before grinning a little at the idea of Adaza and Kayo training. But as she heard her brother she knew he was right, they really needed to finish the medicine for Lynia and Kiyan would probably need to examine her herself just to make sure she was right about the medicine.

Adaza just glared at Kayo. He knew that he was just using his daughter to get out of training but in away was being honest. "I'm sure your sister and your assistant can handle that." He said smiling rather eerily. "After all your assistant knows more about Lynia's case. She was the assistant to Lynia's original doctor before he passed away." Lynia just looked back and forth between her father and Kayo. She didn't really understand what was going on. She nodded softly breaking up the two men. "Its okay Uncle Kayo you can train with papa. I can let your sister and Moika take care of my medicine." She said softly not fully understand the punishment her dad would give Kayo. "Guess you have no choice, unless you want to disappoint sweet little Lynia." Adaza said mockingly to Kayo.

Kiyan couldn't help but laugh a little at Lynia's comment "That's very kind of you Lynia I'm sure Kayo will have allot of fun." she smirked to her brother her just gawked a bit. "Fine fine do you at least still have my sword, I hate training with someone else's" he said and Kiyan was surprised, did Adaza keep the weapons from the people he defeated?

Adaza just kept the eerie smile on his face. Kayo knew the answer all too well to the question. "Kayo you know as well as I do that answer." He always kept the well crafted weapons from his battles, only the ones from his battles. Kayo was being one of the massive swords he collected. "You know papa does. He has a really big collection." Lynia said smiling. "There are allot of pretty swords." She added softly, Adaza just looked at his daughter. He didn't mind if she looked at the weapons, just not touch them. "I want to see the new ones." She told her father, who just looked at her. "When you're feeling better love." He simply stated to his sad daughter. He wasn't sure if he wanted her to see them. He had both the second in command and the late general's sword from Kiyan and Kayo's clan now resting permanently in the racks. He knew Kiyan would most likely be with her if she did and that scene was on he wanted to avoid for some odd reason.

Kiyan suddenly felt cold as she stared down at her food having stopped eating at the mention on the new ones and for some reason started to feel sick. "Excuse me" she said quietly as she stood and left the room leaving her half empty plate. Kayo frowned having not even thought about that, surely Adaza had killed the general and Kiyan had liked him... she was only the third in command from what she had told him but she had watched Adaza kill the one that she liked for so long. Kiyan left the room and walked down the halls in a haze finding herself in the garden after several long moments. She made her way over to a tree shifting as she did so knowing she was away from view from either the door or the dining room so she just laid down staring up at the sky as the tears streamed from her eyes.

Adaza and his daughter just watched as Kiyan left. He quickly motioned for his daughter to be quiet about what just happened. "Take Lynia to her room." He told a maid that nodded and help Lynia down and out of the dining room. "I'm sure you already know why your sister left." He told Kayo before leaving the room himself. It was kind of obvious now that he somewhat liked her, at least enough to be slightly affected by her leaving so suddenly. However after getting to know her, he had forgotten about the swords from the battlefield until Kayo had brought his up. He made his way to his trophy room. There in the far left weapon case was as sword. He crossed his arms and looked at the cased and he leaned against the massive table in the middle of the room. It too had stands with weapons on it but the one he just collected was far more interesting to him. It belonged to someone she seemed at the time to be in love with. It bothered him replaying the battle within his head, the things he said, his actions. He closed his eyes, he felt horrible for what he did.

Kiyan decided to stay outside for awhile until she calmed down, she didn't want anyone to see her upset, she still felt it showed her as being weak but the memories... Kaji would never get a proper burial, at least half of her clan was dead... her friends.... her home.... almost all of her comrades... She closed her eyes and put her paws over her face. It was all her fault... if she had just continued to fight the lower ranks... if she had just defended Kaji like she was supposed to... sure she never would have seen Kayo again... but at least Kaji and many of her comrades would still be alive.

Kiyan's fox form

Slowly the shadows moved in the garden, unnoticeable to anyone even if trying to see them. He had being watching her since she left the dungeon with Adaza, but never when he was around. For Adaza would have surely caught him even as a human. He knew his old master very well and even as a hidden rank, he still feared him. Silently he blew into a metal straw, sending a sleeping dart into the whimpering female fox's butt cheek. It wouldn't take long before she fell asleep once she did the shadows consumed her before vanishing.

The mysterious man placed a chain over Kiyan's neck as she slept away the effects of the dart before sinking into the shadows. The chain was freshly made for her kind. The king just couldn't wait to test it out and he had the perfect subject for it.

Kiyan yelped at the sudden pinch and jumped up to run but found her legs gave out just a second later and her mind soon fallowed as she passed out but could feel the cold of the darkness around her and struggled to awaken but just couldn't. She whimpered as her powers started to drain from her once more but this time allot more then before but her form stayed as it was for the moment, it would take awhile for her form to actually shift since it was linked to the deepest part of herself. Less then an hour passed before Kiyan started to stir and whined as she awoke feeling the dark flames that normally lightly lit her fur were nowhere to be seen... she was cold and weak... what happened to her?

Eerie bodiless whispers softly danced in the air as it turned cold, it was the only light in the dungeon and very faint. Dark teal flames lit the black candles tracing the walls of a rather creepy dungeon. The stones walls were black and thick, covered in some kind of liquid; perhaps water. Dripping could be heard in the background but none in sight. Chains rattled nearby the female fox as a cry of agony filled the air, shortly followed by a disturbing squirting sound. Glowing teal eyes creeped in the shadows, their attention was on Kiyan. "Oh don't mind him." A voice spoke out to Kiyan, Sehpeal just sat in a chair across the room of the dungeon, picking imaginary dirt off an apple before biting into it. The dark elf in the shadows smiled, showing off his white teeth; his canines longer than normal. "Allow me to introduce you too Adaza's top student." Sehpeal said smiling to the fox. "He has no name, no voice, nothing. So torturing you will be rather dull to him but don't fret pet, I'll enjoy every wound inflicted." He said before biting into the apple once more.

Kiyan's eyes widened as they turned into slits staring at the male before they moved to the teal eyes that were staring at her. "Why? I'm a simple nanny... surely you know that... surely you know Lynia needs her nanny." she said trying not to growl just trying to get out of whatever he wanted to do to her. Slowly she moved able to stand as slight embers flaked off her coat as she tried to ignite her internal flames but it just wasn't seeming to be working

Sehpeal just glared at her as she spoke. "Who do you think you're fooling?" The King simply replied to her. He waved his hand to the elf in the shadows who sink back into the shadows. Long sharp nails scratched quickly at Kiyan, leaving four stashes. "Adaza's little war pet, as is your brother." He spat darkly at her. He took another bite of the apple as the elf in the shadows appeared once more. "Besides, did you really think I would let you leave my dungeon after how you talked to me." He said smirking darkly. "Words I can let side but bringing back that thing, now that will cost you." Sehpeal emphasized thing with such disgust. Oh how he hated Adaza.

"That THING is the father of a wonderful little girl and the reason the only family i have is still alive, and he clearly has much more grace then you. Oh and that slap, I felt like I had been hit by a child." Kiyan said almost smirking at that before snarling at the thing that had clawed her but the marks didn't even seem to hurt.

Sehpeal glared at the fox, she clearly hit a nerve. Without warning the dark elf disappeared into the shadows. Only to reappear with a rather large slice of her skin. It was from her side. The elf just looked at her, his teal eyes piercing into hers as he took a bite from the slice he held. "That worthless lapdog isn't a father, not even his blood child." He spat darkly at her. The elf just played with her flesh he just had peeled off. It was rather testy. He licked off her blood from his finger as he looked at her. He wanted more but clearly was waiting for his master's order.

Kiyan clenched her teeth and growled as she was bitten but was forced to shift back onto her human form to put pressure on the wound. "i don't believe you, but even if she's not Adaza's blood daughter it doesn't matter, she is his daughter because he raised her, loves her and cares for her, even if he weren't her blood father if anything ever happened to him she would hate anyone who tried to take his place." she said coldly but was being honest, she was sure such a sweet little girl could be capable of hating anyone who took away or tried to replace the one she loved most.

The King just looked at her, she was feisty, he could understand why his cousin kept her around. "Oh, I doubt that." Sehpeal simply stated. Lynia was not the hateful kind of girl, she was one of the few who he actually cared for and knew. He smirked upon seeing her change back to human form. The dark elf in the shadows continued to play with her flesh, he is getting rather tiresome of waiting. He flashed his blood covered teeth when Sehpeal signaled to him. Instantly he dropped the piece of flesh and sank into the shadows. A glowing hand of teal fire reached out from the shadows near Kiyan, his other hand gripping her wrist to remove it from her side. Slowly he burnt the bleeding wound made not to long ago. He didn't want her to die too fast. Once he was done sealing the wound, the elf slowly dragged his claws over the freshly burn flesh. He chuckled a soundless one, flashing his teeth at her. This time he stayed near her.

Kiyan clenched her teeth at the feeling of the wound being burned but it didn't seem to bother her so much. She almost smirked when the male stayed close to her and suddenly her hands were around his throat digging her nails into him harshly hoping to hit the artery as she locked her hands around his throat

The dark elf just smirked at Kiyan, never flinching as she dug in her nails. He simply just grabbed his own head then broke his neck before removing his head completely and slipped from her grasp. Dark purple streams of blood tricked down his throat and onto his black clothes as he placed down his head. He moved his head as popping sounds filled the air, his head now connected as if he never removed it. Sehpeal just chuckled at her after the elf just escaped her hands. "I did warn you, he was Adaza's top student." The dark elf just ran his hands over his own throat before licking off the blood from his fingertips. "I guess I forget to tell you. He is already dead." The King said laughing. "That is one thing Adaza is good for. His necromancy is unmatched." Sehpeal said taking another bite of his apple.

Kiyan's eyes widened as she tried to move away as far as she could the chain tugging at the collar around her throat "Why?! Why are you doing this to me?!" she hissed at the king while keeping her eyes on the monster in front of her and trying to find a way to get the collar off of her

Sehpeal just looked at the female fox. "I'm not repeating myself to self a lowly cur." He spat out as a reply. The dark elf just twitched his head slightly, his blood covered teeth gleaming at Kiyan at the dark. He knelt down down waiting for another order from Sehpeal. His teal eyes tracing her as he did. Sehpeal tossed the half eaten apple to the floor and watched as hungry prisoners squirmed from their cell bars for it. The dark elf slowly crawled towards Kiyan, inch by inch until he was right in front of her. Barely an inch from her face. He liked her eyes, they were very pretty. "You may play with her but don't kill her just yet." Sehpeal said to the dark elf, who just smiled darkly at her. The elf grabbed her face and forced her to look at him. Oh how he wanted her eyes.
