Kayo grinned a little knowing Adaza would love this. "She's okay so long as she's giving herself the shots but she can't stand the medicine I need to give her and I know she won't even give it to herself, she much prefers healing magic but that can't fix everything." he said with a smirk. "I should probably give it to her today or tomorrow since she keeps getting worked up, either you need to try and keep her distracted or hold her still." he explained easily.

Adaza just stood up after finishing off the bottle, his head rushed a little as he did. Surprisingly even drunk he still walked perfectly normal. He smiled at his friend's word. He took out another bottle from his bar's cabinet. It still sounded like a child to him. "What does the medicine do, is it really that important that you need me to hold her down?" He was amused by the act his friend wanted his help with. However that would probably make her more mad at him and something he didn't really want to do at this moment. "Didn't you tell me to let her calm down for a while and you want me to help you give her medicine she hates?" He ask softly smiling at his friend.

"Well I didn't say I had to give it to her today now did I? I already gave it to her once but she was passed out at the time, it's a medicine that helps her calm down and relax so she can heal, but it also forces her body into self healing and she can't stand that." Kayo explained then frowned. "Her self healing abilities can only work when she's completely calm and relaxed, which I'm sure you can understand that that doesn't happen often." Kayo explained and it was clearly true, Kiyan never fully relaxed, she was always hyper or annoyed about something even if she didn't show it.

Adaza just opened the bottle in his hand as he nodded slightly. "Either today or tomorrow, those were your words. Just because I'm drunk doesn't mean I am slow." He said setting the bottle on the desk near his glass. "As for her relaxing right now, she might need it. She didn't seem like she wanted to rest when I went to talk to her. She was coughing when I left her. I had to force her back into her room." He filled up his glass once more before taking another sip of the honey-golden liquid. He wondered if she had fallen asleep or was still bouncing around on the balcony.

"Yeah she hates down time, she used to be rather social back in our home villiage, of course she was a guard so she got to know everyone, she's either always used to having something to do or being around someone, doesn't surprise me that she wouldn't want to go back to her room to rest." Kayo smirked easily. "Oh and it either being today or tomorrow doesn't really depend on you but on her, if she's too worked up there's no way to get her to settle down or stay still for the medicine." he explained easily.

Adaza couldn't really blame her, he hated the healing process as well. That was one reason why he was drinking. Mostly to numb the aches in his body and to be able to ignore the large bruise between his shoulder blades. "She was chasing after me to yell rather than fighting rest. She called me stupid and an idiot." He said laughing lightly. "She is the only one that ever called me those names, well besides my family on my Mother's side." He finished off his glass and set it by the bottle and looked at Kayo. His sister was something else, he'll give him that.

Kayo started to laugh hearing his friend. "She probably wishes that you could understand her or that she could understand and explain herself." he laughed a little but was being honest since he was sure that Kiyan wasn't sure hot to explain how she felt about him

Adaza just picked off imaginary dirt from his chair's armrest. He had his doubts about that but Kayo did know his sister better than him. "We'll see." He stated softly. He was still unsure about everything that had been happening in the last few days. "On the more serious side. I found an old legend about a subclass in my racial heritage. It details the same transformation I had done the other night, minus the horns." He said placing his families journal in front of Kayo. "My twice great grandfather on my father's side was the same thing. They called him a Reaper. He stole life sources and eventually ate enough to become immortal. They had to bind him with chains similar to Sehpeal's dungeons. His location is unknown, that part has been lost in the text but only another Reaper can kill them. However it said once they transform they are stuck in that form. Perhaps because I didn't gain the horns I didn't fully transform and that allowed me to return to normal. Could be because of the shard in my chest as well." He didn't fully understand it but maybe his friend could help. He never showed him his family journal before. It was a rare for a dark elf to show the journal of their families to outsiders, it was actually a great honor in their race.

Kayo was stunned at this and looked at Adaza in shock. "Adaza are you sure you want me to read that?" he asked since he knew how much of an honor it was and just wanted to make sure, the only one he had ever seen was from his wifes family and it took them a long time to trust him with it. He then thought some on his friends words and nodded to himself. "It's said that spirit foxes may eventually loose their human forms as well, it's thought that the powers eventually eat through the body as it grows weak, but that hasn't been proven yet" he shrugged some

Adaza just looked at Kayo, he was drunk but he didn't act without thinking. Granted his thoughts were foggy but he didn't let that alter his actions. "If I wasn't I wouldn't have placed it in front of you, you know that." He told his friend. "Perhaps my family journal can help you figure out Kiyan's subclass as well as mine." He looked through the other books and placed another one beside him. "If you read my Mother's journal, she apparently knew about my father's bloodline. Her hope was to create a child with the same abilities as my twice great grandfather but her father refused to accept a subclass into the royal family. I'm sure you can gather the rest." Adaza said before leaning back in his chair, he never even thought of looking in the journals but he was lucky he did.

Kayo listened and nodded before looking through the books rather surprised at some of the information. "Well it's certainly possible that the gene skipped several generations... wait if you're twice great uncle was imortal then maybe he was locked away near your families manor at the time?" he offered then couldn't help thinking what a fox/dark elf subclass would be like.

Adaza just watched Kayo flip through the books. He was thinking the same thing about his relative, however if he was permanently stuck as a Reaper then maybe it was better to let him lay where he currently was hidden. "I was thinking the same thing but they locked him away for nearly destroying everything in his region. It's now the dead forest near the mountains to the East, maybe he resides somewhere near there." He calmly stated as he poured himself another drink. "However maybe it's better to leave him in his prison. I was dangerous in the form I took. He is stronger and if you read. He wasn't exactly the nicest person, so I doubt he will be talkative with subclass details." He took a small sip of his drink. He already thought of looking for his twice great grandfather but decided against it. He doubted after that long imprisonment that he would want to help with the information they quested for, even if he was family.

"Hm... true, the best chance we might have of learning more about sub-classes is probably by asking the spirit fox before she looses all of her energy, surely there's a reason she's here and not in the forest near my homeland and she might even know about what's happening with you since she clearly isn't affected by your powers" Kayo offered still thinking a bit but thought that would be their best bet

Adaza tapped his fingertips on the armrest, he was in deep thought as Kayo spoke. "My mother might also know more then she has written down, perhaps I can force it out of her. Her and Sehpeal, it's obvious that they know what I am." He said mocking the fact they wanted him dead. "I owe Sehpeal a visit already. What's one more reason." He really wanted to play him back for killing Kiyan and he was sure Kayo would agree that the visit was deserved. "Perhaps they can answer some of your questions." He smiled softly at his friend, the alcohol clearly making him friendlier.

Kayo was a bit surprised at this but then smirked some "I'm surprised you would want me to come as well, I thought for sure you would want to handle this by yourself" he smirked easily but did want to give Sepheal a piece of his mind, he had been screwing with him since the day he learned he was still alive, he had only let him live because he was the one taking care of Lynia.

Adaza just smirked at his friend. "I'm sure you want a few words with him, not only for your sister's condition." He said as if knowing what he was thinking. "Besides I need someone there to stop me from killing him. If he dies then a Civil war will break out. That's something we can't afford right now." He stated plainly afterwards. He would want nothing more than to kill Sehpeal after what he did to Kiyan but the fight for the throne will collapse the Kingdom, at the time of war it wasn't the best ideas. "We'll still at war, remember?" He said calmly to his friend. He knew even as he was he could be called away anytime, so he wanted to do this as soon as he could.

Kayo nodded then thought some. "You know Adaza this war doesn't have to continue, if what Kiyan said is true then she warned the last of our village to flee and i'm sure the others of our kind will fallow for now... with Kiyan being the spirit fox now I'm sure that the elders and leaders of my kind will listen, there can finally be a peaceful way to settle this." he pointed out but worried that his friend would just get upset.

Adaza just poured another glass and drank it quickly. Kayo's words weren't bad. In all truth it would be nice to be home and not worry about leaving Lynia. The thought of dying always entered his head when he was at war, orphaning her. He knew Sehpeal would snatch her up before anything would happen to her but he hated the thought of her being raised by his cousin. "Peace would be nice. The Civil War part, not so much. Granted I always been the strongest of the Generals. They all respect me, however in this form, who knows what would happen. I can tell you for sure that Sehpeal wouldn't agree to peace, only with his death would it happen." Adaza said truthfully. His cousin wasn't one to reason with, it was always very pointless to even try. Kayo should know that after everything he did to him. "Guess we have a choice. Deal with Civil war or continue this one. Doesn't seem like a hard choice does it?" Adaza said chuckling lightly, it was obvious which one he would choose. "However then there is the new King, he might not agree to peace. That's after the war and the winning general takes his place on the throne." He said chuckling once more. It would be a interesting turn of events.

"Well if there's not already a chosen replacement then you need to start training, the only way to ensure peace is to make sure that you're as strong as you can be so you come out on top, and with that new form of yours I'm sure if you train hard enough you will come out on top" Kayo pointed out easily

Adaza just shook his head lightly. "You know there isn't a chosen successor for Sehpeal. He refused all the chosen candidates, even the blood related ones." He simply told Kayo. "As for the throne, I honestly don't want it. I know of two of the Generals that might listen to me; even as I am. The other two will slaughter all to get the throne, they are the only ones we need to worry about. Especially with Kiyan and Lynia in their conditions, not to mention your wife and son." He sighed softly, he hope the two he knew would listen to reason. They were family oriented as well, Lynia would play with their daughters and sons when they visited. Maybe one of them would win with his help. "However just even talking like this could get us into serious trouble Kayo, are you sure you want to be involved if I do decide this?" He asked seriously, he was drunk but he was seriously considering this action.

"Adaza look if anything happens to you, even with my wifes family, death would be a blessing for me. You know Sepheal has already threatened mine and my families lives, but thanks to you and Lynia he doesn't have any chances to kill me. I should have died along with my second you know that." Kayo said quietly. "Maybe you could ask Kiyan to take you to the forest of beginnings, it's said that only subclasses, spirits and the chosen temple hands can enter, if you get in though it's also said that your powers are increased at least ten fold." he said but knew it would be risky in any case, Kiyan was still very weak and Adaza wasn't in much better of a condition, it would have to wait until they were a bit better before they could even think about that

Adaza just looked at him confused. "The forest of beginnings?" He already knew what he had previously said but this wasn't something he was familiar with. "My powers are returning as we speak, I doubt I need them increased. They were unmatched without the temple's ability." He lifted up his left hand, slowly his hand faded into a black, dark purple mist drifted lightly from it before disappearing into the air. He phase his hand into his own chest, a slight crackling sound could be heard as slowly pulled out the shard from his own chest. His skin stayed pale as his hair slowly changed into it's original snow white color. He tossed the shard onto his desk. His hand returned to normal as he then looked at his friend. "The shard repowered me. I found out just a little while ago, before you entered, that I could remove it from myself." It was extremely painful to remove but he had dealt with far more worse pain than that. He was just glad it didn't kill him. His body had eaten the energy already leaving it nothing but a piece of metal with symbols engraved deeply into it.

Kayo stood and gawked in shock as he saw what Adaza was doing and stared at him in disbelief. "Woah! I knew that your powers could eat away at it but I never thought you would be able to pull it out. Oh and it was just a suggestion really, the forest of beginnings is said to be where the spirits of nature reside and where the power of the planet is born and maintained, both me and Kiyan have been to the edges of the forest but only to escort a priest there." he shrugged a bit. "It's a section of land that the foxes and other creatures and clans have been protecting for a very long time" he said softly but was honestly rather proud that his people had stayed in nature and protected their origins.

Adaza just looked at his hand, his skin was still pale white as it had been in his human form. His hair had returned white once the shard was removed. "I guess it couldn't change me fully back." He stated more to himself then Kayo. He turned his attention back to his friend. His people had something similar, it was a castle deep within a dark cavern, deep within the castle was a shine that was the source of the shadows his race worshiped. He had been there countless of times. "Sounds like your version of Ashura. However unlike you I been in the Castle of Ashura, though I never drank from the shine itself." He told his friend, drinking from the shine was only for subclasses. It would kill anyone else that wasn't, so no one drank from it. He wasn't even sure what would happen if a subclass drank from the shadow-like liquid. "Perhaps, I'll take your sister there. To the forest, she could use all the strength she can get. If everything plays out the way I think it will." He wasn't meaning it as bad as it sounded but that was how it came out. If it insulted Kayo then it did.

Kayo listened and nodded then smirked some "Kiyan would have a fit if she heard you say that but I understand what you mean, she's been in a near-death state ever since she brought Lynia back, especially since she was brought back but now she's actually showing it." he said and did sound a little worried but not too much, his sister was very strong and resilient, he knew she wouldn't go down without a fight.
