Adaza just shook his head lightly. "No. It's too dangerous." He simply told her. He looked at Kiyan. "My ancestor's notes reveal where he would be placed. He is far stronger than I am. I would not be able to protect you. For once just listen to me." He told her before fading into the shadows. He didn't go far, he was placing the journal and papers into a pack. He needed his cloak but remembered Kiyan still had his favorite cloak. She was wearing it when he left her at her village. He would have to borrow one from Aoide when he took a few days of potions.

Kiyan puffed out her cheeks a bit before walking around until she found where Adaza had went off to. "You know I'm not near as weak as I was before, and I can easily get away if I needed to. Besides you kinda owe me, all you have to do is focus on yourself I'll be fine." she said crossing her arms a bit before remembering something and vanished for a second before reappearing with Adaza's cloak looking at it for a moment before moving over to him and offered it to him knowing he would probably want it.

Adaza just looked at Kiyan. She was handing him his cloak back. "I half expected you to burn it out of anger or shred it." He told her simply. He took it gently and lets the shadows consume it to protect it from what he was about to do. He let his aura unleash slowly. Everything around them in the barn began to rot instantly. "If I can still eat the life source from everything in certain radius after being poisoned greatly, then imagine what he can do. Its not safe, even for me. Though I am curious how you think I own you." He said plainly as the life from everything slowly began to make there way to him. His body absorbing them.

Kiyan shrugged a bit "you left me with nothing to remember you by besides this bracelet and that cloak, I wasn't going to get rid of either" she explained having never taken off the bracelet since he placed it on her. She seemed unphased this time as the area around them began to change but a small area around her didn't seem to change at all. she then crossed her arms and stared at him darkly "Oh really? You don't think you owe me? You may have been under a spell but you were able to break free the next morning instead of any sooner, I came in on you and that thing in bed together, you may not realize it but I did take the bonding between us seriously." she scoffed a bit

Adaza just hid away his aura, letting what had survived be, weakened and near death. He just looked at her plainly. She had him there, he was thinking on how to counter act that last remark. He couldn't really think of anything. "Last time I check Kiyan, only I bound to you. You didn't really wanted to be bound with me. I even told you I wasn't holding you to it, it was self implied by your actions that it was the same." He told her plainly. Granted he did want to be loyal to her even if they weren't taken the bounding seriously. The siren just had him at a very weak state, thats all it was.

Kiyan just lightly smacked her face with her hand "Gah are you really that clueless?! I was embarrassed and shocked! I was mad that you thought I would just ignore it too... made me feel like you didn't think I was worth bonding with." Kiyan said the last part quietly as she looked away having had felt that for a long time.

Adaza just folded his arms over his chest and looked away slightly embarrassed. "Yes." He simply stated. "I am clueless when it comes to women. The only woman I ever loved, hated my guts. I never flirt with women or chase after them, there was no point. Everyone only respects me because I'll die for them, I fought to protect what they have." His words were plain, harsh in a way but true. He never found anyone willing to care for him when he was nothing, only after he became a general did people care for him.

"Well then... I guess that's what makes the difference, when we first met I had no respect for you" Kiyan teased lightly then sighed "When i yelled at you... asking who would want to be bound to someone like you... I was more talking to myself... not just about you but about myself as well... I thought I must have been crazy to have any feelings at all for you... I mean I watched you kill so many of my comrades... but I was also talking about myself... because no man I had ever met wanted to have an outspoken, hard headed, female warrior for a wife." she smirked a little sadly. "Why would I ignore the bond now? I care so much about you, enough that when I saw you with that siren I walked out here and put my fist through a tree... burned it from the inside out... not really something I'm supposed to be able to do with my normal power levels" she added with a small smirk

Adaza just lightly smirked at her words. "The feeling was mutual." He simply stated to her. He never liked women fighting due to the fact he had to kill so many. "I won't lie, that hurt me deeply. My late wife always spoke those words." Adaza never looked at her, his arms still folded over his chest. "It's not even a bond. Only I am bound to you Kiyan. You're still free to do what you want." He unfolded his arms before folding his left sleeve up. His arm was plain. "You only get the symbols of your spouse when you receive their energy. As you can clearly see, we're not fully bounded. There is no need for you to take it seriously." He plainly told her, he wondered how many times he would have to tell her that.

"I'm sorry" Kiyan said quietly before sighing heavily "I'm not free, I can feel things that happen to you, I can now even sense you better then my own clan members" she said then trailed off her face growing quite red as she huffed a little crossing her arms and turned completely away from him "B-but my bonding ritual is different! I-it's so much more... intimate..." she said the last word so quietly it was barely a whisper as her shoulders were up to her ears and her face was as red as it could be just thinking about it.

Adaza would have said something but stopped when he saw her. She had completely turned away from him and yet he could still see her blushing madly. A smirk came to his face, he just couldn't resist. He walked up behind her, placing his arms around her waist. He pulled her into his chest. His warm breath lightly brushing against her neck as he wrapped his arms more around her. "More intimate huh?" He lightly questioned her, his lips brushing lightly against her neck as he spoke. He was facing her with his head tilted down. "My race has a very intimate part as well, should I show you?" He asked her barely above a whisper.

Kiyan was shocked at this giving a little gasp as he pulled her against him and put his face close to her neck somehow seeming to make her even redder. "A-Adaza!" she exclaimed but it was more from embarrassment then anything else... though she did kinda like the closeness it also gave her chills that she didn't quite understand

Adaza lightly chuckled against her skin. He was enjoying teasing her, though part of it wasn't teasing. He would show her if she wanted. "Already screaming my name and we haven't even started yet." He chuckled lightly once more. He could see her face getting more red by the second, at this rate all her blood would be in her face. However he couldn't help the remark he just made to her, how would she react to that he wondered.

Kiyan was still bright red as she heard him and lightly elbowed him but clearly wasn't trying to harm him or even push him away... she kinda liked him being this close... it felt nice. "I-I think you're enjoying this way too much" she said trying to sound irritated but really was just embarrassed... not just at his words but the fact that she kinda wanted to know what he meant

Adaza just softly smiled at her reaction. "Just a little, you're reactions and facial expressions are very amusing." He told her plainly, never moving from her. "Makes me want to know how you'll react when you finally take a man to your bed, or would you die from embarrassment before you could even do anything?" He said mocking her blushing face. "Do you have any blood in the rest of your body? From my point of view I would say no." He said chuckling at her embarrassment.

"Why do you always say it like that?" Kiyan suddenly asked her face cooling a bit as she finally looked at him. She had clearly showed no interest in any other man other then Kaji and he was long gone... she had only ever shown interest in him and Adaza... and she felt so much more for Adaza then she had for Kaji... did he not notice that? Or did he just not want to?

Adaza just thought for a bit. "Honestly, just because you care for someone doesn't mean your take them to your bed. I cared for my wife but she never joined mine." He her plainly. He knew allot of people that never took the person they cared for to their bed but others. It wasn't a perfect world and not everyone took their vows or bounds seriously.

Kiyan fell silent before turning still in his arms and hugged him "You know you're the only man I've ever hugged outside of my family...I've grown to like the idea of being bound to you... that's why I get so embarrassed... why I chased after you in the first place. It's not just me caring about you it's much more then that... that's also why I get so mad at you" she smirked slightly finally looking up at him a light blush still on her cheeks

Adaza just looked at her, her face was slightly back to normal. He was actually surprised she didn't pass out from the blood rushing back into her body. "I just thought your were naturally that angry." He said softly to her, it was true even though it sounded playful. She always yelled at him for one thing or another, how he fell in love with her was beyond him. He couldn't even think why he loved her to be truthful. He thought in silence as she spoke, he never moved from her as he did.

Kiyan smirked a bit and shook her head with a laugh before slowly pulling away slightly in case he wanted to move "Adaza...I want to stay with you... to stay close to you, even if it's dangerous" she said softly hoping he would understand

Adaza just removed his arms from her. "Alright, however if I tell you to leave. Just listen and do it." He simply told her, he gave in to her request for the first time. He summoned his cloak and put it on, covering his face with the hood. He grabbed the pack with the journal before wrapping his arms around her again. He meant it, if she didn't listen then he would force her back here. Even if he died transporting her through the shadows.

Kiyan nodded a bit before hugging him back "Just be careful okay?" she said softly as she looked up at him her face growing a bit red before she leaned up and kissed him softly on the lips worrying that they would run into trouble

Adaza was shocked. Kiyan actually kissed him for once. He just smiled softly at her. "Get the things you need." He simply told her. "I'll be back in a little to get you." He faded into the shadows, leaving her alone at the barn. He was going to get a few days supply of the potion from Renia. Once he got to her cabin, she simply listened to his request and filled up small bottles from him. He placed him in his pack. She also grab him a pack of food for Kiyan. Adaza just nodded a thanks to the witch and Aoide before fading back into the shadows.

Kiyan smiled a little to herself before going and packing a bit making sure to get plenty of fresh water and made a very quick trip to the forest to tell the spirits what was going on before making her way back to the barn and slipped on her own cloak that had the same type of markings as her clothes along with a hood that she could stick her ears through if she needed.

When Adaza returned, he had one of his notes out. He knew where he wanted to start looking for the prison his ancestor was in. There was a general area he thought it would be. He was lost in thought as he faded from the shadows. It had been a long time since he had been in that part of the kingdom. No one ever went there do to the creatures that live there. They were cruel and vicious as the darkness that loomed there. He hoped that Kiyan would be save.
