"So how will I heal him if he heals with shadows? Wouldn't that mean that he would need to heal on his own?" Kiyan asked softly though then frowned a bit and looked down feeling sick since she knew that he was going to be hurt because of her... she wished she could do something to help him but from what Kayo said it seemed there would be nothing that she could do.

He just nodded at his sister, "You don't, you can only watch him. Make sure he drinks water while he rests, if he is awake try to get him to eat." Kayo said while standing up and off the counter. He needed to check on Lynia but it was in no rush really. She was better but she still needed to rest and she needed her medicine. He placed his hand on her shoulder, "Don't think about what will happen to Adaza, he been through worse. Trust me." He told her trying to comfort her, "I need to go check on Lynia, I will see you in the morning." He told his sister sweetly before walking to the door, "Try to be a girl tomorrow." He told his sister in a picking tone before running off so he didn't get hurt.

"Oh ha ha Kayo nice joke." Kiyan said with a slight sarcastic laugh though a smile at the same time. She then sighed and walked to her room checking with some of the maids to see if there was anything they needed help with before she went and got in the shower then got into her old clothes and went to bed just as her brother had instructed her to. She slept through the night though did have some bad feelings throughout the night and whimpered some at the thought of Adaza being hurt or even killed because of her. She awoke in the morning in a cold sweat though got up and went to the bathroom splashing her face with water to clear her mind before going and getting dressed in one of the nicer black lace dresses she had that was actually almost to her ankles... though not touching them. She soon made her way to the kitchen knowing Adaza and her brother would probably already be there.

Adaza decided to skip breakfast that morning, instead he was in the garden practicing. He moved elegantly with his bo staff, with every movement his shirtless chest glisten with a light layer of sweat. He stood up straight from time to time, his movements are smooth yet powerful. He came to a stop only to switch weapons, the bo staff slowly melted away into the shadows before he summoned his trusty sword. Slowly he began to practice with the sword, just as elegant as he did with the bo staff.

Kayo stood in the arch way watching his friend practice, he didn't understand why he always looked elegant when he trained but he did. He slowly ate at his plate that rested in his hands, despite his advise on eating Adaza never listened to him. He rather exercise then eat, Kayo just watched and waited for his sister to make her way to the dinning room.

Kiyan slowly made her way into the kitchen then to the dining room before walking over to her brother who was standing at the door watching something. "what's going on?" she asked then looked around her brother to see Adaza training and she was in awe as she watched him and hadn't noticed before how elegant he was in the least... it hadn't occurred to her when she was fighting him nor after that... only now did she see how smooth his movements were and how easily he summoned and dismissed his weapons. "Wow...." she murmured quietly wishing that she could move that smoothly when she was training... but she had never been one to have smooth or graceful movement... in fact she was one of the least graceful women from her village... well at least that's what she was always told anyway.

Kayo looked at his sister and smiled, "Adaza is training." Was all he could say as he continued to eat his breakfast and watching his friend practice. He just nodded, he looked at his sister as she watched Adaza. He smiled seeing her reaction to him moving with such a elegance, "Careful sister, your mouth is dropping." He told her in his picking tone as he took a bite afterwards.

Adaza didn't care if they were watching him train, he was so use to people watching that it didn't phase him anymore. He stood up once more and let his sword fade into the shadows. He took a breath before practicing without a weapon, he had practiced with all the weapons he knew before they even began watching him; granted Kayo saw more then those two. Adaza was moving faster without weapons but was still graceful. He took even breaths as the shadows moved with him as he trained. "I can't figure out how he can control the shadows that well." Kayo said to his sister, he was trying his best to understand but couldn't.

Kiyan blushed when she heard her brother and closed her mouth then continued to watch Adaza and looked up at her brother. "Practice and I think it might be in his blood... or it's like me... it's one of those rare things that shouldn't really be possible but it is." she said softly meaning about her ability to bring people back to life with their souls still in tact. "Speaking of my powers, how if Lynia?" she asked softly to her brother before hearing her stomach and grinning some knowing that once she got her answer she would need to go and get herself a plate.

Kayo just chuckled at her once she blushed, then it really hit him. "Kiyan?" He knew what she was going to say if he asked and decided not to ask; her reaction would tell him all he needed to know. "Never mind." He said shortly after, he was thinking it was a rare trait like what she possessed since his friend was the only one he knew with that ability. "I believe it's a rare trait but when I studied his blood, there was no trace of any special trait. Like your's has a curtain trait lining your blood, his does not." He was looking at it scientifically and even then it didn't make since to him. He looked at his sister before smiling, "Better, she still needs rest. Her heart is steady, her breathing normal and she is getting her color back. Still in a deep sleep however." He told her smiling, he was glad she was here when Lynia turned for the worse.

Adaza stopped practicing, he was covered in sweat after all the exercise he placed his body through. He walked up to them and shook his head at Kayo. "You know, you could join me one day Kayo. You should work the fat off." He said to his friend, who was slowly gaining weight. "Married life is getting you over weight." He wiped off some of the sweat on his forehead with his towel before he walked over to get a sink of water. "Ha, ha, ha, haha. Very funny Adaza." Kayo replied in a sarcastic tone, he knew he was getting slightly over weight but he couldn't help it. He loved his wife's cooking. Adaza drank his cold water quietly before leaving to go get cleaned up. "Still more attractive then him..." Kayo said lightly pouting after Adaza left.

"I did notice that you've seemed to let yourself go a bit... you should start training more... maybe when I start training again you can come and train too." Kiyan smirked a bit before getting her rood and sitting at the table. "What were you going to ask me anyway? You know I hate it when you start something then don't finish it." she asked curiously though then continued to eat happily though was also thinking about going to see if she could maybe help Lynia wake up later... she knew of an herb that could help with that and if she was right it was fairly common around this area.

Kayo looked down at his stomach, it was small with two inches of fat forming around his abs. "Okay so I gained a couple of inches, I admit that but I can't help it. My wife is such a good cook." He told his sister sadly, he knew he needed to work out again but he rarely had time to; well he didn't want to when he had the free time. He got a little bit more on his plate, he was always a big eater and he was hurt lightly about his weight gain. He sat down by his sister, "It's nothing, I will start training with Adaza when I can." He told his sister before he started to eat his second helping.

After a little bit Adaza was nice and cleaned up, he wore his normal outfit that he wore when his cousin was coming to visit. He was was wearing a black kimono and a white sode that was slit into four sections for easier movement from the waist, his kimono had a silver dragon embroidered on his left shoulder blade that wrapped around his left arm. He wore the two loosely with a pair of loose fitting pants also black in color that he tucked back under his black leather boots. Around his waist was a datemaki, purple in color with a darker plum embroidery of a elegant design in the front. He had combed his long white hair back before pulling it into a small ribbon to keep it from his face. The ribbon that wrapped his hair was a dark plum colored cloth that matched his datemaki, wet strains slowly fell loosely around his face and neck. Slowly he made his way back to the dinning room where the maid set a plate down at his seat for him. He tanked her and started to cut up his food as he sat in silence.

"Tell me Kayo you know I hate it when you do this." Kiyan said darkly before she saw Adaza come back in and was stunned at how good he looked in his Kayot... she had only seen a few men wear them before but it was normally for festivals of when someone of great importance came around... well that would make sense since his cousin was coming today. "Wow Adaza... you look wonderful." she said then nearly blushed at her own words but somehow managed to keep the red from coming to her cheeks.

(males don't actually wear kimono's, they wear Kayot's, the male version of a kimono)

Kayo just shook his head at his sister, he always keep things to himself when they were younger just to annoy her and it seemed it could still be done that way. "Never mind Kiyan.' He said once he saw his friend enter the room. "Getting ready for your cousin I see." Adaza just looked at his friend and nodded. He hated his cousin but had to be properly dressed and well behaved. A small smirk came to his face when hearing Kiyan's commit. "Thank you, I'm surprised to see you properly dressed." He said trying not to insult her but he was surprised. Normally she fought wearing one but she did look nice. "It looks good on you." He turned his attention to Kayo who was chuckling at those words. He stopped and started eating seeing Adaza completely unhumored glaze on him.

(Actually it's a garment for men, women and children. It means "thing to wear," like in this time frame any gender wore one. Now a days its normally for woman.)

(hm... I always though a Kayot was for a man and a Kimono was for a woman sorry)

Kiyan huffed a bit with a slight blush at what Adaza said and looked away some. "Well I thought it would be even more frowned upon if I wore a short dress while the king was here, believe me I hate wearing a dress of any kind, they're unnecessary and uncomfortable not to mention impractical... but Kayo did say that I needed to be on my best behavior today so I thought it was appropriate." she huffed crossing her arms and you could tell she hated wearing any type of frilly anything. "But thank you for the complement anyway...." she said with a light blush though still didn't look at him or her brother.

( Now a days yes, its more classed for women but in the older times it was for everyone. :)

Kayo smiled at the two before speaking in Adaza's native tongue. Adaza looked at Kiyan and nodded politely showing his thanks before turning to Kayo. He replied with a lightly hateful voice, Kayo just started laughing at his friend's answer. Adaza didn't find it humorous at all however, without warning he stood up with his hands on the table. He was leaning toward Kayo and spoke darkly at him. His voice dripping with venom, "Okay I'm sorry, but you have to admit it seems like it." Kayo said before looking at his plate, slowly he picked at it with his fork. Adaza placed his napkin on his plate before turning to leave only to stop in place. His cousin was watching the whole scene. "You eat breakfast with your slaves?" The man looked like Adaza, only difference was the hair. The King's was shorter, to his shoulder's while Adaza's was at his waist. The King's hair was black and properly set under his crown. Adaza looked at his marbled floor, if he said anything in protest it would only cause more trouble.

"Um... what was that all about?" Kiyan asked curiously as she watched her brother and Adaza then was silent as she watched Adaza leave the table then saw the king at the door and wasn't sure what to do. The hairs on the back of her neck and arms raised and a knot formed in her stomach making her feel as though she were about to be sick... a man that she knew was as cold as ice and his heart as black as darkness itself was standing there and seemed mad at Adaza for eating with her and her brother... this didn't look as though it would go well but she would stay quiet and respectful just as she always had around her elder and chief of her village.

Kayo just shook his head, he never spoke when the King was there in the same room as him. "My, my Adaza you are truly worthless." The man spat out darkly, he looked at Kayo then at Kiyan. "You adopted a female now, did you." He glared at Adaza hatefully, Adaza looked over his shoulder to Kiyan. "Leave us." He said he said quietly, without even thinking Kayo was up and left the room. He was in agreement with the general about the king and left every chance he got. "Now what's the matter cousin. Don't want your dogs to see you grovel." The king said walking up behind Kiyan's chair before she could leave. He placed his hands on her shoulder's while looking at Adaza. His hands were cold and could send chills down the bravest of men's spines. "Now, now. No rush in leaving dear." The word lingered with a spiteful hatred. "Leave her alone, Sehpael." Adaza told his cousin. The king just stood there staring at Adaza, he hated when he was addressed by his name, specially by him.

Kiyan had stopped talking when the king had entered but had spoken before he was there. She was then about to stand though didn't really want to leave Adaza there alone... if she did then she wouldn't be able to protect him at all... but she didn't even get a chance to stand before she felt a cold hand on her shoulder though surprisingly didn't shake or anything.. she hated the feeling but she refused to show fear in front of any man... even though she had in front of Adaza before. She didn't move a muscle but she was clearly stiff, her strong muscles were tight and her shoulders stiff and straight as if she were standing at attention in front of her commander even though she was sitting... it wasn't something that you would see with a woman of any race... in fact the way she looked right now she hardly resembled a woman at all... excluding her breasts and clearly feminine figure... unfortunately no matter how hard she tried not to show it you could tell she was a trained killer and had clearly been in the military even just by the way she was sitting and how she didn't look quite right in a dress.

Sehpael walked away from Kiyan slowly, his hand slowly dragging off of her shoulder. He came face to face with Adaza who nodded for her to leave. He saw how she was sitting and knew trouble would be caused if his cousin saw it. That's why he called him by his first name. "Who do you think you are talking to like that. Yes, I am your cousin but I'm still your king and will addressed me as such." He hissed darkly at Adaza who stood straight, he always stood like that but it was lazy today, taunting his cousin so Kiyan could leave before she would get in trouble. Sehpeal started talking to him in their native tongue, it was clear that he was angry for the disrespect Adaza was showing him; not like Adaza cared. He was bounded to be put in the dungeon for sparing Kiyan, it was the whole point of the visit. Adaza barely flinched when he was hit by his cousin without warning, he was use to being hit by his family that he barely even felt the pain from it.

Kiyan was about to leave when she saw the king about to hit Adaza again and in a flash was between them and had pushed Adaza back with the lightest of touches just in time to get a hard back hand in the face though didn't even flinch or make a sound even as her face started to turn a deep red on that side and a bruise started to show under her eye. Her face was calm and cold and emotionless as stone as were her eyes, a trait only shown by those whom had been trained for such moments... the city guard and military for example. She didn't care if she was harms she just didn't want Adaza being harmed... almost a natural reaction for a slave or guard... it was almost instantaneous really.

Within seconds of Kiyan stepping between him and Sehpael, Adaza faded through her and stepped between them. He glared at her through the corner of his eyes. "Oh how amusing..." Was all the King could say, "Cuff Adaza and his pet." He spat the word pet out to his guards just to spite his cousin before leaving, Adaza just held out his wrist so he could be cuffed by a pair of specially designed prisoner cuffs. Upon getting the cuffs placed on his wrist tightly, his white hair slowly turned black, his skin faded into a pale tan. His ears disappeared under his blackening hair, the cuffs slowly turned him into a human. His shadows were gone as long as he wore those metal cuffs. Adaza turned to her and looked at her with his sandy brown eyes, he was warning her to stay quiet and to let them cuff her. "Don't fight them." He whispered to her when they grabbed a part for her, he looked at the guards then back at her, hoping she didn't fight.


(Lol, its okay. But now Adaza will suffer. xD

Kiyan shivered as she felt Adaza phase through her and then looked down at the ground with a slight frown and willingly aloud the guards to cuff her. "I'm sorry." she whispered knowing he was probably upset with her because she kept him from being hit... but she couldn't help it she just really didn't want him to get hurt... it was part of her job as his servant really....

Adaza just looked at her, he was surprised she actually apologized to him for reacting the way she did. He shook his head as they where taken to a new dungeon, it larger and full of more torturing devices then his. The ceiling leaked near the wall where they chained Adaza up, while Kiyan was placed in a cell near by him. Once they left Adaza turned to her, "Don't you say anything while you are here, do you understand me?" He told her sternly, he meant it. He was use to being turned human and tortured, but he didn't want her to get hurt. His daughter would have his head if she did. He was already irritated with her for doing what she did. Now he would have to push his cousin's buttons so only he would get tortured.

(he he he X3 yes but Kiyan wouldn't really like it I don't think XD )

Kiyan nodded a bit and looked over to Adaza only being able to see through one eye since the other had swollen shut. "I really am sorry... I just couldn't stand to see you get hit... and it's all my fault... If I had just given up like I had been told this never would have happened." she said quietly lowering her head as she had looked away though slowly her face was turning a bit pale and she started to look sick and healed her stomach a bit seeming to be in some sort of pain. The cuffs had been taken from her hands but were replaced by chains that also sucked the dark powers that Adaza had used to heal her essentially taking away part of herself and causing her to start to become ill.

( Lol, well we'll see if he does or not. )

Adaza shook his head, "Then you and my little girl would both be dead." He said staring at the floor in front of him, "I grew accustom to your fighting." He told her softly, barely over a whisper. "My wife was strong willed like you, I missed it." He told her never looking up at Kiyan, he looked at the door on the opposite side of the room. "Stay quiet." He told her once more before the door opened. Sehpael came walking in, he looked at his cousin chained to the wall. "You make a ugly human Adaza." He told him darkly, he turned his attention towards Kiyan but before he could say anything Adaza spoke. "Even as a human, I'm stronger and far more attractive then you Sehpael." That cause the king to glare hatefully at Adaza. He faded his hand through Adaza's chest, the same way Adaza did to the teenage boy on the battle field. However, Sehpael held his hand in longer then Adaza did. He was careful not to kill him but only cause allot of pain. Adaza bit his lip, he refused to scream out in pain; he wasn't going to give him that pleasure.

Kiyan was surprised when she heard Adaza though then fell silent as she heard his cousin coming in and could feel a slight tear coming to her eye and she could actually FEEL what was happening to Adaza in a way... it felt like the powers were retracting even more causing her to hurt even more and move a little in pain though tried not to show it not wanting Adaza to be hurt anymore then he already was.
