The mark bothers Uriel, in more than one, but now it's permanent so he might as well try to get over it at least. He just takes the offered tube. "Thank you." Being angry and being rude are two different things. He just pads off into the bathroom to apply the ointment...and maybe to stare at the mark a bit. Part of him, deep down, was hoping someday that he could go home...that he could get rid of the reasons that they tossed him away for, but the mark wouldn't help that. It's a downer to realize that it isn't going to happen no matter what.
(My brain read that as lube at first....XD)

"they wouldn't have let you back." He said as if reading his mind. He hated saying it but it was the truth. "I will keep you safe for as long as I am able." He turned to leave.

"Shut up!" Uriel doesn't need to hear that from Kirin right now. And just like that, his eyes start watering again and the tears stop falling. "I know that...I was just hoping..." Because the idea of never being able to go home again...it hurts to say the least. It's not something he can really deal with at this point.

Kirin has said the wrong thing at the wrong time, again but it had to be said. Living with foolish hope wouldn't do any good. "There's food in the fridge if you get hungry." He heads out of the room.

Uriel can't deal with all this at the same time. He still hasn't accepted that they threw him away after knowing him for so long and him having done no wrong. He can't deal with that and the idea that he'll never even have the chance to go back home again. And the mark, that thing and the circumstances surrounding it, doesn't make anything easier. He ends up shutting the door instead. He isn't hungry. Instead, he ends up curling up into a ball, his wings wrapped around himself as he cries. Though he does try to keep it as quiet as possible.

Kirin sinks to the couch. He shudders a bit. To believe he was now hunted, he burries his face in his hands. Tears slide down his cheeks a bit. What was he going to do.

Now they're both crying, which is always lovely. Uriel eventually does come out, to get a glass of water. Crying makes a person thirsty. He does realize something is going on but he doesn't know what. Though he does end up standing by the couch, standing kind of awkwardly, not knowing what to do about this. "I'm sorry?" It's the only thing he can think of to do or say at this point.

"You've no reason to be sorry." He says looking up at Uriel. "Can I get you anything?" He says standing. He himself could use a drink.

"Are you sure?" Uriel asks softly. He doesn't know what's bothering Kirin so he has no idea if it's his fault or not. "I'm thirsty..." He says softly at the question. He didn't get to actually getting the drink so he still wants it.

"It isn't your fault I'm feeling this way." He goes and gets them both a glass of water. "here you go."

"Alright then..." Though Uriel, in the back of his mind, is still thinking a bit that it might be his fault. He just takes the glass of water. "Thank you." He says before sitting on the couch, his legs curled up underneath him before he starts sipping at the drink. He's a bit tired, but crying may just do that to him, let alone the other drama of the day.

Kirin sits next to him sipping his own water. Knowing Alistair would be after him complicated things greatly. He wracks his mind trying to think of anybody he could turn to for help. Right now he's drawing a blank.

Uriel sips at his water a bit. "....what's wrong then?" He ask softly, pretty much staring down his glass of water. He can't help, or try to stay out of it, if he doesn't know the problem.

"Alistair wants you. While I am alive you bare my mark and he can't touch you. Before he left he pretty much told me that he was going to have me killed. Well not in so many words but his meaning was crystal clear."

"And who is Alistair?" Uriel doesn't like that want thing there. He's an item or possession. He's a person. Simple as that. He makes a whine like noise at the killed thing. "But why?" It's not understandable in his mind. It's not worth it to kill for someone who doesn't want you in his mind.

"Alistair is a high ranking demon. And he would kill me to get you." He said his hands shaking slightly. He could see how confused and wished he knew how to make it make sense.

Uriel makes a whine like noise before grabbing and hugging Kirin to him. "He can't do that." It's like a stubborn little kid thing right there, but Uriel won't let that happen if he can help it.

Kirin just leans against Uriel, glad for his comfort. "He can and he will try his hardest." He says softly. He wishes he had marked Uriel earlier. Perhaps he was a fool for letting it go so long. If he had marked him right away Alistair wouldn't have gotten wind of him.

Uriel just holds Kirin tighter against him. "No." He won't let Alistair take Kirin away from him or him away from Kirin. Whatever the case may be.

(I'm thinking that Uriel should have some powers, but not know about them due to never being taught.)

"As long as I am alive you are safe." He says gently touching the mark. The mark that Uriel hates so much. "If I go I will not go easily." He says with a smile. He kisses Uriel's cheek.

Uriel shivers a bit at the touch. He doesn't hate the mark-he hates that he had no choice in it. He was thinking about it, even if he said nothing, but his choice was taken away. That's what he hates. "You better not go at all." He blinks a bit at the kiss before nuzzling him a bit without thinking.

(Yep but probably wouldn't come out until extreme danger or something.)

"I will have to go out for supplies at some point. Though I think I might know somebody who can help." He says. The thought of being stuck here scares him to death but he tries to keep that hidden.

That's, somewhat, how Uriel was feeling before, that he wouldn't be able to leave this place due to the...magic? Kirin has over it. He just shakes his head at Kirin's words, still holding on to him tightly. He doesn't want to lose Kirin...or what would come afterwards either.

"I will stay. For it is the only guarantee I have of your safety." He says with a smile. "I'm sorry I took your choice from you." He says truthfully. "If there had been any other way I would have done it."

"I don't want you to go." Uriel says softly. It's the truth. He doesn't want to be alone and, in general, he likes Kirin. "I don't want to talk about it." It's unpleasant and he doesn't want to think about it now...it might make him angry again and he doesn't want that.
