Ben leaned into her touch and kissed her back as he pulled her closer to him. Nodding, he smiled, "I would love to just spend time with you." he said as he leaned into her hand more. He wanted to spend as much time as possible with her till he had to leave her tonight. Hopefully nothing bad would happen like last night.

Miriam smiled and rubbed his chest as he held her close. "Okay. Let's go then." She said as she started to exit the booth and waited for him. Her eyes on him as she picked up the box with their leftover pizza. The brunette figured her dad would eat it when he got home from work.

Ben smiled as he slid out of the booth and took her hand into his. "come on." he said as he started to lead her out of their. Never once on the way back did he let go of her hand and he smiled as he looked down at her, "so, I never got to ask you, but what do you like to do in your free time?" he asked as he found himself just wanting to know everything about her right now.

She smiled as she felt his hand in hers and held onto his as they walked. Miriam looked at him as he asked her a question. "Well, I like the outdoors and going swimming. I also like watching movies. Um, what else do you want to know?" Her eyes went to the sidewalk as they walked back towards her house.

Ben nodded as he listened to her and smiled, "I want to know everything I can." he said as he leaned over and kissed her cheek gently. Yet as he did he couldn't help but realize how long his shadow was. Frowning, he looked towards the sun and knew that soon he would have to leave her like he always would.

Her cheeks flushed as she smiled and looked at the sun starting to set. "How about tomorrow we'll spend the day getting to know each other?" Miriam said as she held his hand tighter and grew a bit sad he'd be leaving her again. She moved closer to him as she walked quietly with him.

Ben smiled when he heard her and nodded as he squeezed her hand back. "I would like that." he said to her softly and smiled more as she moved closer. As he walked he sighed slightly, "I wish I didn't have to leave." he said softly as he thought of hte night to come. He wished that he could spend the night with her but he doubted she wanted a animal in her room. Sure he was only dangerous in the begining but he was still a animal.

Miriam nodded and held onto his hand as they got closer to her house. Her eyes went to the sun as it lowered a bit more in the sky. She noticed her father's car wasn't back yet so he must be working on a tip or something. The brunette walked to the backyard with him stood there at the edge of the woods with him. Her hand stayed in his as she fought the tears that were coming to her eyes. She felt safer with him nearby and less lonely but how could she convince him to stay with her?

Ben continued to walk with her and held her hand close as he watched his shadow slowly grow longer with each passing second. As they got to her house, he didn't have to look up to know no one was home, only their old sent remained here as they passed to go to the woods. Yet as he stood at the edge with her, he found that leaving her would be harder then the last time. Quickly, he pulled her into his arms and looked down into her eyes, "I will only be gone for 2 hours. After that I will be watching you from the edge of the forest, nothing will ever bad happen to you." he said as he kept her close to him.

She willingly went into his arms before dropping the pizza. He'd probably get hungry and she had groceries in the house for later so she would not miss it. Miriam looked up at him as she nodded and kissed him deeply as she pressed herself to him. Leaving him was the hardest thing she had to do besides say goodbye to her mother, but at least he was coming back. "Be careful, please, Eric?" The brunette said as she touched his face.

Eric wanted to soak her in as much as he could as he held her close to him. As she kissed him, he pulled her closer and kissed her back, showing her everything he felt for her before she pulled away. Looking down at her, he smiled and placed a hand over hers. "I will always be careful, Miriam. I have to be since I have you to come back too." he said, his eyes never leaving hers. Leaning down, he gave her one last kiss before he slowly started to pull away, as he knew it was time. Looking back over his shoulder, he looked into her eyes one last time as he moved towards the forest, "remember, I will be with you at first light." he said as he started to dissappear into the darkness that was the forest and the night.

Her eyes went to him as he covered her hand and spoke to her. Miriam smiled and kissed him back before he pulled away and turned his back to her. She nodded and held her hands to her chest as she started to walk back towards her house. The brunette felt lonely already and she barely got to the house as she started to cry. Having Eric's arms around her made her feel safe and loved. Without him...she could be attacked again. Miriam shivered at the thought before running upstairs to her room and going out onto her balcony. She looked and listened for signs of her love.

Eric felt like he was ripping himself in two as he dissappeared from sight and continued to move. He knew he had too, the first bit of the transformation was hard and he couldn't control himself afterwards. Yet his feet felt like lead as he moved and before he got to the spot he had been before, he felt it. Groaning, he fell to the ground and felt his skin fall off, being replaced by fur. After a few minutes, his other side was left and he let out a howl as he ran into the forest. After a bit, he found he couldn't find anything to eat and slowly started to venture towards the edge more. On the inside eric tried to get himself to move away from the town, yet his animal side wouldn't listen... that was until it smelled food. MOving forwards, he found the pizza box and started to chow down on that. It was gone just like the deer from the night before and thankfully it was enough. For right when it was done eating eric was in control. MOving to lay behind a tree, he looked up at Miriams room and saw her watching from her balcony.

Miriam soon heard the howl and looked around for him. She saw a furry figure eating from the pizza she had left for him and smiled a little bit. Her eyes went to him as she saw the figure move behind a tree. The brunette waved and blew him a kiss as she felt lonely without him. She looked at him before wondering what he would do if she approached him while he was in wolf form. Her blue eyes stayed on him as she wondered. There was a trellis on the one side of the house made of wood but doubted he would want her to see him like a wolf.

Eric smiled when he saw her wave at him and blow that kiss. He felt his tail thud against the ground and he waved back at her. As he watched her, he wondered how she would react to seeing him like this. It was only a matter of time before she would and he just hoped that she didn't freak out and run. Slowly, he sat up and leaned against the tree as he watched her. He wasn't exactly the best thing to look at, he probably looked like a over muscular guy covered in fur with a wolves head, a tail and claws big enough to crush a head.

She smiled at him before deciding to leave her room and ran the stairs to the kitchen. Miriam walked out the backdoor and walked towards him slowly so she did not scare him. Her hands in front of her as she stood a few feet from her. The brunette blushed as she got closer to him.

Eric watched as she left and figured she was going to go to bed. BUt when she came out the backdoor he was surprised and froze in his spot. He could only watch as she moved closer to him and he wondered if she would run when she saw him. He made sure not to move so that he wouldnt' scare her away and looked at her in the eyes as she came. He wanted to walk over and pull her into his arms yet he was afraid that she might run of he did.

Her eyes stayed on the creature on front of her and moved closer to touch his face. Miriam looked into his eyes and smiled as she stood there with him. "Eric..." She said softly and looked into his eyes, feeling safe and not afraid anymore. "Not as cute as your human form but I've seen uglier guys.

Eric watched her and feared that she might run, instead he felt her hand on his face. When he heard her he chuckled slightly and slowly, and carefully, wrapped his furry arms around her, pulling her close to him. Now that she was back with him he felt whole again. "missed you." he found himself saying, his voice rougher then it was in his human voice as he held her close to him, not wanting to let her go.

Miriam smiled and snuggled into his arms as she looked at him. "I missed you, too." She said as her eyes closed and taking in some of his warmth on the cool summer's night. Her lips brushed the side of his face and nuzzled him a little. "So furry." The brunette said as she giggled a little.

Eric pulled her closer to him, making sure to keep her warm from the cold night. A purr broke out from him as he felt her kiss his face and he chuckled slightly. "yeah, keeps me warm and now you." he said to her softly as he held her close to him and nuzzled her back. He was so glad she wasn't afraid of him and didn't run.

She smiled as he purred and held onto his fur as she nodded. Miriam yawned as she blushed and didn't care if she caught a cold from sleeping outside with Ben. Her hands rubbed his chest as she started to fall asleep against him.

Eric smiled as he held her close to him and felt her hold onto him. He continued to purr as she rubbed his chest yet couldn't help but laugh softly as he watched her fall asleep. Shifting so that she laid against him more comfortably as he leaned back against the tree. He kept his arms around her and moved his tail so that it covered her legs. "sleep, you need it." he whispered to her softly as he started to hum a lullaby his mother use to sing to him.

Her eyes closed as she felt him shift and lean back against the tree. Miriam felt his body covering her so she would stay warm as she slept. She nodded and yawned again before smiling. "Goodnight, Eric. I love you." The brunette said as she fell asleep in his arms.

Eric smiled when he heard her and purred as he pulled her closer to him, "I love you too, Miriam. Sweet dreams." He said to her as he kept her close to him. He stayed awake for most of the night and then slowly started to fall asleep with her as dawn came closer. When the sun finally came out, Eric turned back to his normal self as he slept with Miriam in his arms.
