Hi! What sort of pets do you guys have? Got any pics? I'd love to see them!
I have two cats, myself. A 14 year old American Short Hair named Zane Grey and a one year old Ragdoll named Mallo Cup.
This is Zane Grey:
And this Mallo Cup:
Both are male and are very happy kitties
I also have some fish, but no good pics of them. I have three betas and a large snail.

I had to get rid of a lot of my pets because I'm moving and couldn't take them with me. In the past I've had too many animals to list ranging from frogs, pigs, cats, dogs, reptiles, birds, and other critters. Currently I'm down to four cats and a dog. My ferret just passed away yesterday and I'm debating on getting two more because my dog loved to play with my ferret.

I currently have a cat and a dog. Both are from the same shelter, but we got them at different times.
My kitty, Sage, is approximately...4 or 5, I think? (They estimated her age at one to two years when we got her).
And Sophie, the dog, is a little over 2 years old. She has the same birthday as me, actually. :D

I love Zane's ears! They're almost owlish...like how the horned owls' feather tufts look, and I enjoy that.
Give him personality.
Mallo is just adorable.

I love my kitties. They're like my babies. I do miss having reptiles around but honestly int he apartment I want to move into there would be little room for such big enclosures.

I am phasing out my pet fish. Some of which are older then people I talk online ( gosh that does that make me feel old sometimes).
I might keep my goldfish when my fish downsizing is all done and over with, I haven't decided yet. Or I might hand them on to someone with a pond who wants some fancy goldies and can keep them safe.
My current goal is to get one or two chihuahuas. I want them because I don't want any animal that will ever keep me tied down and at home. Chihuahuas are highly portable and can fit under air plane seats. So when I get my chihuahua(s) I plan to treat them like my familiars who go everywhere they are allowed with me. I love the idea of an animal familiar. I got really close to getting a pair of flying squirrels, but then I decided squirrels chew too much so I'll get a chihuahua instead.
I have everything here for one, but the RL issues have put getting a chihuahua on hold for how long I don't know since it's beyond my control.

I have an old female chow chow that I've had for 15 years. :3 I don't have any pictures
of her because she always moves when I try taking a photo.
And I recently bought a guinea pig a day before my graduation, I've had him for four months now and his
name is Cinnamon. x3 He's really shy but sometimes crazy guinea pig.

And this is him after his bath. >w< so cute.

My family has two cats, but out of them, only one of them is mine.
She's a 11 year old blue point tabby girl named Misty. She's got a very strong, but lovable, personality, and soul melting baby blue eyes.

I have a nervous calico cat with green eyes, I found her on the street homeless 6 years back, she was skin and bones so I took her in and fed her, I tried to find out if she was lost but no one ever came forward to claim her so I kept her, she is a sweet kitty though she demands a lot of food and she tries to play games with me to trick me into feeding her some treats.

Awh, that's so sweet that you took in a stray. I came close to doing that a couple years back but couldn't convince myself she wasn't somebody's pet, so I waited too long and she never came back.

We have two cats now. Gizmo is mine and he's about three years old now. No pics (no camera) at the moment, but he's a brown tabby cat with a white belly. He's a bit lazy (and it shows XD) but he's funny when he does get in the mood to play. Amaretto, we call her Rio for short, is about 2. She's grey, orange, and white and is pretty much the opposite of Gizmo. She's always running around the house.

I take in strays all the time. There's also a feral colony of kitties a few blocks away and if I can get a hold of the kittens I try to get them social to the point where they can be placed in homes. Not many people want to work with them so when the city gets a complaint the cats are shot or trapped and killed if I don't take them. It's sad.

Cool! Good for you for adopting shelter pets We were at the shelter a few weeks ago to get Mallo and Zany their shots and started thinking about taking home a dog. We're still mulling it over, though. Trying to think of a breed that would be just right for us.

Thank you very much :) He's got a lot of personality, that Zane. He can be so snooty lol And Mallo's cuteness is his biggest weapon. He makes 'pretty face' when he's in trouble to try and get out of it lol

She sounds so cute I had a nervous cat once. Her name was Peaches. She was born in the litter with Zane, I think. We have no idea why she was so shy. Zane does that. Plays games to trick you into food. Mallo does, too, in a way. If I'm sitting on the floor, he'll sit on the bed and high five the back of my head for treats.

I have quite a few pets at my house. Four dogs and one cat. The cat is a recent addition within this last year. A couple of our pets are strays we found. One is a miniature pinscher. He's gangster when we found him he was shot.
He's a sweet dog not very well trained though and he's a total lap dog. I baby him so much. He's got the girliest name ever...I didnt name him. Cocoa.
Another one we have is a mixture of jack russell terrior i believe. My dad had to have her even though he doesnt take care of her much now. Her name is Sweety. Apparantly because she's such a sweetheart.
Then we have the dog i call old man because he's at least 100 in dog years. He's half blind and we think mostly deaf. Dachsund. His name is Oscar like Oscar Mayer...because he's a hot dog. lol
Then there's the mutt named Rex. I'm not sure what he's a mixture of but he's got a Pitt Bull looking head. He's a big baby. He's scared of the cat lol!

I suppose I will go in chronological order:
My first big pet was a little black mutt my family picked up from the pound (we called him Spankey, because he was a little Rascal).
He passed when I was about 8, and my family has not gotten any pets since.
Me, on the other hand....(animal sciences major & all)
I went on to have many different aquarium setups. All kinds of fish, freshwater crabs, shrimps, frogs...I even had a breeding pair of Beta fish once!
After the aquarium phase, I got hermit crabs when I moved to college.
I had a total of three: Jaqueline, Joe, and Hermia.
Then on a trip to Texas, I found this thing:

We started calling her Webster, and the name stuck
After Web turned a year old, she started having seizures. We still don't know why (sooo many tests were run. Everything short of a CAT scan), but she is on anti-seizure medication and has been seizure free for over a year now C:
Then I moved into a new house and this thing was there:

You see, I moved into a house with Veterinary students, and one of them was fostering this thing for the clinic they worked at.
She was brought in by a concerned citizen who confiscated her from their neighbors. They had lit her on fire. Her tail was amputated, and she has a permanent bald spot...but she lives as though she's the happiest kitty ever. Her name's Atari (since she has a joystick on her butt).
I'm actually quite happy that I have these two knuckleheads. They seem happy with each other too:

Besides those two, I have also fostered for my local Humane Society. The most notable was this adorable little family:

I found homes for all of the babies, and the mother.
In the future,I have so many crazy ideas. I want a ferret, I want to keep goats, I want chickens, I want dogs and possibly more cats, I want to keep bees.......
Basically: I'm a little weird. But critters are fun, and they keep life interesting.

They're all so cuuuute <3 <3
That is so horrible. I cannot believe someone was so cruel as to light a poor, innocent creature on fire. That is terrible. I'm so glad that kitty found a good home with you
I feel like a derp, but...what are those? Lol It's a family of....cats? .....Dogs? .........Small critters? Lol
I feel you, though. I really really want a miniature goat, but my town has a thing against anything that could be considered a farm animal. Despite that a miniature goat needs about as much room as a german shepard. Which I had! So I have plenty of room for him! I want one sooo baaad! I'd also love to have a koala. Impossible, but it'd just be so effing awesome lol I want a lemur, too.
Someone asked me a few months ago 'What's going to happen to Mallo when you leave for training?' I was like 'Um, herpaderp, he's coming with me!' When I start travelling, I want to bring him with me as my companion. I'd really love to have a harness-type thing made so I could carry him around. I'd have to make it so it could be transferred to either shoulder or make it so that the shoulders bear the weight together. Since he's gonna get so big and all.

All my life I ws obsessed with cats, so imagine what it was like when I had one of my own. He was a tabby cat who I got at two weeks old, as a gift from a special person. He was, of course, the CUTEST cat in the world. His name was Der Kleine Gaelan (The Little Gaelan, Gaelan's my name), or Kleine for short, and hardly was a cat so loved. He would sometimes sleep next to me on his back, and when he slept on me, I would always keep perfectly still, and wait for him to wake up before doing so myself, but then again, I also scooped him up when he would rather have been left alone to inform him that he was a kitty. I always insisted that he was constantly conspiring to take over the world (he was!) and she told me he was an innocent and not to push false accusations. Whenever I left, he would meow after me, and he did make everything in my life magical.
However, the forces of Heaven and Earth could not have kept us together: moving out, I gave him to a girl I had a class with. She's taking care of him, but his name is now Cameo, and she says he's an awesome cat, who purrs a lot, plays with her dogs (both of whom are knee high) and has other cat friends. (If pets are a reflection of their owner, then I should be flattered, shouldn't I?) He has a house, fields, fellow cats, so I guess I should be happy.
Now I have a Russian tortoise, who reminds me of Kleine, but silent and in slow motion. Because he is Russian his name is Ivan Mirniy, or Ivan the Peaceful, so as not to confuse him with Ivan the Terrible. He's cool.
(As you can see, I should probably get a girlfriend)
