I had to kind of skip the chatting a little bit.
@ Booderdooder - Having goofy as a dad would be awesome.
@ Livi - I hope the little sleep you got helped.

We are back. Found a new place but wound up with a funky headache in there, but that usually happens whenever I go in buildings in that area. Not sure why.
How are you, Poet? Work going okay?
Livi ~ did everyone make it home yet?
Booderdooder ~ any plans for the weekend?

Hmm... do you have the Peacock Scythe? My daughter wasn't interested in the extra one I have. I'm not hurting for gold - and would be willing to donate it to you.

Elmira: Yeah, thankfully - they got home around 2... I think? I don't know, I didn't look at the clock. Poor hubs, he got home - and thankfully, for him, Becca was asleep, she fell asleep on the drive home, so he was able to collapse in bed next to me, and take a brief nap after telling me that he was never again going shopping the day before Easter.

I was watching a Peacock Scythe on the Marketplace,
but the only one available timed out before I could afford it.
I would rather buy it from you than have you just give it away for nothing.
Unless, maybe you're interested in art? :O

Anything you want!
I can PM you my DeviantArt, but it's kind of out of date now.
I haven't posted anything there in months.
I'm free to start drawing whenever we go home tomorrow,
so I could show you my more recent work then.
I can do some cute little signature art or an actual portrait.

That sounds cool! I'd like to see your work on Deviant Art - I am completely boneheaded about artwork. My kids are creative, I just know what I like and it usually is not something easy to find. I collect work from someone who can best be described as eclectic. But a new signature? That would be nice. I had one a long time ago, but it wasn't stored here and I lost it when I came back.

Well, do you have any examples of the art you like?
I might be able to give it a try, if my style isn't very similar.
I'm always into trying new art styles

I actually need to get out of my rut! We don't have a lot of art up in the house and most of what she does are funky collages. It's about the only cluter-monster artwork I can handle because I know why she made it.
What I mean is, I'm not particularly tied to a certain thing. If I like something I really DO like it. Used to have a painting a friend of mine made in high school but it was damaged when I moved. Another was a silly painting of a yellow submarine by my aunt - no idea what happened to it, but it traveled with me everywhere. I guess I have sentimental attachments to things when people I know create them. But a sig or something else is fine - whatever works for you!

Yes, I'm just jumping in here. Hope that y'all don't mind.
I wish that I had more money because I would go and print out a ton of my photos, and hang them up all over my apartment. But I don't have the money. :(
But I know how it is with art, and I know I prefer art that people make over store bought things.

I hear you about printing photos. Had a few paintings my grandmother made, but they simply did not go with the overall vibe of the house just way too fussy. Most of our walls are blank right now and no one seems bothered by it.

I'm the opposite with blank walls - they bother me so much. Maybe it's because we have so much art and pictures and stuff up at home that I'm just not used to blank walls.
Some of the ones on Here, I really do want to print. I'm too lazy to pick specific ones as there are quite a few.

The colors are fantastic! Holy cow!!
I grew up in a very cluttered house and my parents tend to collect artwork created by their friends. It started turning into a mini gallery and felt claustrophobic. A few years ago, hubster, the kids and I moved to a rental and took everything off the walls of our home. We had to move back here because the job I hoped to get by moving closer to the city never happened. We painted the walls and just haven't put everything back on the walls. I like the color of the walls, which could explain why we never did much else. It's probably the tidiest part of our house!

Thank you! :] Anyones in particular that you're talking about, colorwise, or just all of them?
Mmm, I can understand that! I can handle blank walls, but at the same time, sometimes, that just doesn't feel right, given how I grew up and it's just what I'm used to. At least you know what you need to do for you! :)

I love the landscape photos and the close ups of flowers! Very vivid colors on the sunflowers and... let's just say I felt a bit jealous peeking at where you're traveled/lived! Beautiful landscapes. I love where we live, but my attention usually drifts to studying the architecture here and I don't always notice the details in the landscape.

Sorry, I went to help make food for tomorrow.
I could make you a cute little drawing of an avatar you like
or whatever you want. If it isn't completely worth the
Peacock Scythe, I can make up for the rest in gold.
