Love makes everything worth it....

Like we all put up with stuff we wouldn't normally put up with for people we love, I think.

Kita is actually pretty much DONE with her drama, she thinks.... -knocks on wood- My mom is finally getting her SSI (she's been trying to get it for almost 10 years, since 2005) and my Nana is 100% cancer-free, and so is my dad, and he's learning (slow slow slowly) how to walk again after the mini-strokes he had last year. Last year was terrible, but we've got some awesome news, as a family, this year.

Kitami: Oh, it does make it worth it. And there are things that I know I put up with because I do love him.

That is awesome, I'm glad that things are starting to look up for y'all!!

Poet: I do include him most of the time when I say my kids now - although it depends on if I say "My kids" (which does include him) or my girls which is just Sophia and Becca.

The kitty cat picture with the pantaloons, that is freaking hilarious to me.

I have pantaloons too, I sewed them myself, lol.

"underthings"... I should start using that word

It's pretty versatile, really. You could be talking about practically anything from bloomers to a thong, with one word.

I started using the word "deals" for undergarments because I had a crazy cat when I was a child (I had her from when I was 5 to when I was like 19) who, if she heard you say "panties" would run away and bring you someone's underwear.

Seriously? Best. Cat. Ever. I would make it fetch things all the time and just be rolling on the floor

Hell, I'd use it to get me more wearable underthings!

I want a pet that goes underwear shopping for me!

Seriously. Her name was Sassy. She was a total lunatic. She was a sweetheart though. We almost lost her really early on, she got bit on the back of the neck by a brown recluse spider in our house, and idk if you guys know how serious that is, the adult one's bites basically cause your flesh to die. So it...did that...and it hurt her brain stem, which is why she was so loopy.

Aw, spider bites are awful, yeah...

The poor baby... but she was loved, so it's all okay.

Every kitty cat needs someone to love them.

It's one of their three basic needs, along with food and sleep.

Wow... a cat surviving a recluse bite? That's a pretty tough cat

Some kitty cats bounce back easier than people do, you might be surprised.

Well, my mom, The Unofficial South-West Missouri Guardian Angel of All Things Not Human (Except Grasshoppers) and Also All the Humans She Knows, nursed her back to health, so...if she was left alone, she wouldn't have made it, because it was a serious bite in a critical spot. -blink-
Brown recluse spiders are nasty little devils, partly because you can't feel when they bite you. I've been bitten at least 3 times by them that we're sure of, but only the last one was grown up, so it was the only one that was bad. I have a scar on my leg from that one. Thankfully my dad is a former exterminator so he knew what bit me and I went to the hospital before it got really terrible. They like where I used to live, I guess they like the climate.

I have a friend who was bitten two years ago, and still doesn't feel like he's really over it...

Seeing the hole in his leg was one of the most awful things... I felt so bad for him.

That's one spider I'd eradicate if I could. At least a black widow is more honest, you know you've been bitten and you know it's serious. A recluse can bite you and walk away, and then later you're messed up. It's awful.

My leg hurt for a few months after it had basically healed, and it wasn't really even that bad, compared to some I've seen, so....

They make me ill to look at. I have a weak stomach mostly. I didn't have to really look at mine cause it was on the back of my leg.

I'm not afraid of them, I'll squish them with anything handy, like killing a roach, but if it was snakes, oh my god, I'd be screaming and flipping out.

Scorpions scare me too, and I'm a Scorpio. I've never seen one anywhere I've lived, but the idea of one being in my slipper or hiding in my bedclothes freaks me out sometimes.

Widows also tend to leave you alone if you leave them alone... a recluse moves in...

Snakes? I like snakes owo

Scorpions? I've been stung by the Bark Scorpion... keeping calm was I think the only reason the venom never reached my heart.
