I have no clue what that means, to be honest, lol. Only really strong prescription he has is for his ADD meds, and he knows better than to share those (and yes, since I already mentioned that I have it, that means we both have ADD... nothing ever gets done around here :P lol). All he tends to offer me are anti-nausea meds and things like nexium (I think?) when I'm feeling sick, and I always say no because I figure they're prescription for a reason. I think he doesn't think it's such a big deal because his mom is a doctor, so sometimes she's like, oh, you need this, let me prescribe it for you, and what he doesn't stop to think is, yeah, so family is sharing, but it's because she knows what she's doing. I have no idea, man ><; Sometimes he just doesn't think about the legality of things... I suppose the best way to say it is he's very "Neutral Good" or just very uninformed and naive... or possibly it has to do with his aspergers, I really don't know enough about that. I just know that sometimes he does something that makes me pause and ask, what made you think that was okay to do? oO lol. And this is one of those things :|
As far as allergies go, all I have to do is look up the chemical name, as the only real drug allergy I have is anything with 'sulfa' in it (yeah, sulfur allergy, awesome ><;; ) so it's easy enough to spot.

ADD? Yeah, those are definitely not something to share.
Aspergers? Have you considered having him take the test on the front page? While working with a counselor on an unofficial diagnosis, that test was one of the tests that he had me take.
Sulfur allergy? What kind of reaction do you have? I agree though, so easy to spot.

Oh, he was diagnosed by a psychiatrist with aspergers when he was a kid or young teenager, so I know he has it. I just don't understand it as well as I probably should, and I think he's got it rather mild, so it's not normally an issue aside from the occasional awkward thing like I mentioned or the rare occurrence where something needs done a certain way, but that's only come up maybe three or four times in the two years I've lived with him. Just sometimes it's like.. wait, what? lol XD And like I said about the ADD meds, he does know better about those and never offers them, so... that's something at least, lol.
And yeah, sulfa allergy, real fun :P I swell up, apparently. I don't really remember since I've avoided it since I was a kid, but if I remember right it was swelling. I've also had an exposure to some kind of sulfur compound in high school chemistry class that I wasn't supposed to inhale, but... well... me and my lab partner were either cursed or accident prone or just ended up with all the lousy equipment at our station... :P He was fine, but I ended up with a headache and just feeling generally terrible. That was an interesting talk with the ER doctor, though, haha. You inhaled... what?! ..how? lol XD Oh man the stories I could tell about that chemistry class, lol XD

Sulfur allergies are pretty common I think. They actually have a separate counting tray for sulfur based medications.
I have that problem a lot, not knowing something isn't socially acceptable. Happens maybe once a day.

Hey guys. So, we're talking about the American pharmaceutical empire huh? I'm trying to save up, and move to Switzerland, or Norway. A basic healthcare plan here, is $156, for me, and I can barely pay my bills now.
I've only got like $10,000 in hospital bills. But that's cuz I don't have insurance. I actually looked up what I would owe if I did. Since I don't have insurance, they only charge the basic cost of care. My bill for my last visit, was only $1,8xx. Had I had insurance, it would have been $22,xxx. And with the insurance only paying 70% (after a $5,000 deductible) the bill would have been closer to $8,000.
Healthcare is insane here. I had someone try to tell me how other countries are falling apart, because of their social healthcare, and I have to correct them, on their sources. I mean, I'm by no means a socialist, but I see the benefits of that type of government. If the healthcare empire in America, wasn't so greedy, it could work. But the powers that be here, are driven by greed to the point that they are crippling this country. And I'm going o stop, before I start a political debate.

Oh, and medications... I have PTSD, ADD, bi-polar, social anxiety, severe anger management issues, and I'm mildly autistic. I stopped taking medications years ago, and have learned to cope with most of my issued. But they still cause me problems. And I won't even go into the physical problems.

I guess Storm, you could say that corporate is extremely corrupt. The entire country runs on money, even politics. The one who buys the most votes wins. After all, money corrupts.

That's true, money does corrupt unfortunately, makes people greedy as well. As for medications; I can take anything but eh I don't swallow them I chew them, as I have unfortunately got a phobia of tablets; so I freak every time I swallow tablets.

Though some medicines shouldn't be chewed because they aren't as effective.

A fear of tablets? How so? I'm specifically afraid of those horse pills >.>
True Kirin, but most medications that are like that the doctor should inform you if you typically chew medications. Such as extended release or long acting medications.

As for chewable vs. swallowed pills, many medications are time released, they have to release into your system, as your body processes them. If you chew/drink a medication, it works fast, but the affects don't last as long, and don't do all they're supposed to. I don't like pills. I did alot of recreational pills in my younger days. I overdosed once, and that really messed me up. I don't even like taking acetaminophen.

HAHAHAHAHAHA @ Venus. I keep them locked up. That one was a trap. By now it has melted, and your hands, and anything they've touched, is stained electric pink.
