It's going to be nice and cool today.

Well, it's going to be rather cool for us tomorrow, but it's a darn sight better than it has been lately! I can safely say spring might finally have decided to play nice. Though I do live in Melbourne, so I'll take it with a grain of salt :D

Where are you all that it's so nice? Here in California, I woke up covered in sweat and the latest update says the high today and tomorrow is supposed to be 34 degrees (low 90s, in Fahrenheit).

(...talking about measurement online is always weird for me because I never know which system anyone uses. I'm in a metric household in the middle of imperial system land.)

(Also, this drought and the resulting heat are killing us out here; please send water.)

...I live in Sweden, haha. That's why it's that cool. I totally agree with the whole rather be cold than hot thing. Besides, snuggling in blankets and drinking hot tea and coffee and hot chocolate... best thing ever :D

I need some of that coolness. Come on, self, think cold thoughts. Cold thoughts.

The good news is, I'll be getting an air conditioner soon. The bad news is, I haven't had one all this time.

Ice cubes and igloos and ice cream and polar bears and snow men and penguins! Frigid winds whipping around the house, making howling sounds as the snow blows mercilessly coating the entire world in white!

It's back in the low 100's here...
It got cooler for a little bit, but the heat decided it wanted to come back.

My 4 year old told me a little bit ago "The heat heated us right back up again, didn't it mumma?"
Indeed it did, indeed it did.
Hopefully the cooler temps will be to us all soon! :)

So, earlier, I was asking people to send water - who did it? Because now there's thunderstorm carrying a flash flood warning just north of me. Whoever it was, thank you - a storm of this intensity is going to be a pain, but we need it!

(Don't worry about me with the flooding, by the way; I'm going to be safe - not only am I in relatively safe terrain south of the main storm, but I live on the second floor of my building.)

We've had a lot of rain lately, which is nice. I like rain (^ w^)

Except getting it at this time of year is not fun, makes it muggy as all getout *melts*

We've not had enough rain here. Darn annoying drought. :( Time to start doing some major rain dances!

We're heading into fall here. Hoodie weather is upon us here.

I thought fall weather was here - but it's back in the 100's here this week. Yuck!

I'd so love to live somewhere where it wouldn't get over 100.
I'm so sick of the heat - I'm so close to trying to convince my husband to move to England.
