"I said the same thing," Tina muttered, looking around. By the grim looks on the men's faces, she guessed they weren't exactly somewhere nice.

"I suspect we'll find out who did this sooner than we want to," Hook said, steadying the ship easily.

"Okay, since Neverland is apparently NOT the fun kids' story version, are we going to go ashore or are we going to try to leave?" Rachel asked, glancing at the men.

"We can't leave," Gold said, "not yet. We wouldn't make it out into open water." His expression was somewhere between grim and furious.

"Best to find a safe place for the ship," Hook said, starting to steer in the correct direction. "Find out why we're here, and then leave." He looked just as grim.

"Indeed," Gold agreed, watching the shore warily. He assumed the pirate would know best where to anchor the vessel, since Hook had clearly been to Neverland before.

Hook did indeed know the best place, and while it took a bit of wrangling, he managed to get the ship there.

"We can take this and go ashore," he said, starting to haul the little dingy over the edge so he could drop it down into the water.

Gold waved a hand and the little dinghy obediently moved itself over the edge to be lowered down. Then he took a moment to focus. Rachel was about to ask what he was doing when his cane disappeared and he walked calmly over to the dinghy to get in, not a trace of a limp in his step.

That startled Tina, and she blinked at him, her eyes wide. She hadn't realized he could get rid of the limp entirely.

"After you," Hook said, making sure the dingy wasn't wandering off and the stair down was secured.

Gold nodded and got into the little dinghy, and Rachel cautiously followed. Something about the way Gold and Killian were acting was making her nervous about going ashore.

Tina got down cautiously, and Hook was last, pushing them away from the ship and rowing them to shore. He pulled the dinghy all the way up on land before he looked at Gold.

"So, do we find them or wait for them to find us?"

"Oh no," Gold said, "we will be found either way. But I would prefer not to be out in the open when it happens." He gestured for them to head into the trees.

Hook started walking into the trees. He knew better than to object this time, and there was sense in what the old crocodile said.

Tina let Rachel go next and then headed after them, still frowning as she looked around.

Rachel followed Killian, staying close to him. Gold brought up the rear, keeping an eye out for anything that might try to get them.

"This place feels wrong," Rachel murmured. "I don't like it."

Hook nodded. "Neverland has never been a friendly place," he murmured. "Even those with permission to be here rarely feel comfortable."

"I agree with you, we need to get out of here as soon as we can," Rachel said. "I definitely don't like this place."

Hook didn't say anything else, instead trekking through the forest. He didn't much like it, but he would. He agreed that they needed to not be in the open. And the girls needed to be protected.

It wasn't long after that that the group was indeed found.

"Well, lookee here," a voice rang down from the treetops. "Why, I never thought I would see some of those faces again."

Rachel jumped and looked around, trying to find the source of the voice.

"Pan," Gold growled.

"Hello, Pan," Hook said, his voice mild though he was tense. "I wasn't expecting to see you again either until a few hours ago."

Tina shifted a bit closer to Gold, looking over at Pan when he hopped down to stand on the path in front of them.

"I would say how lovely it is to see you both again, but I'm not in the habit of useless lies," Pan said. He glanced at Gold. "It's been a long time, Rumple."

"Not long enough," Gold retorted, moving a bit so he was in front of Tina. Pan looked at Hook.

"And you, Captain, I thought you'd vowed never to come back to Neverland." He smirked. "Welcome back."

"Well, as nice as the welcome is, I'd much prefer to just go back home now," Hook said pleasantly. "I've got other business to get to now."

"Tsk tsk, Captain, you know that's not how it works," Pan said, smirking more. "You can't just leave Neverland."

"Why are we here, anyway?" Gold asked suspiciously, watching Pan carefully.

"Why, you're expected, Rumple," Pan said. "You, and your adorable little apprentice."

"And we're tagalongs?" Hook said picking up on Pan's words quickly. "I'd be hurt if I cared enough."

"Perhaps," Pan said. "But unintentional or not, I'm sure you'll prove to be useful."

The longer Pan talked, the more uneasy Rachel got, moving so she was behind Killian, mostly out of sight.

Hook's eyes narrowed a bit but he didn't question that any further. Instead he focused on something else.

"You said they're expected, but not that you expected them. You didn't bring us here." He shifted a bit to keep Rachel out of sight.

"I did not," Pan agreed. "Being on this end of a summoning is outside of my skill set, I'm afraid."

"If you didn't, then who did?" Gold asked.

"An old friend," Pan replied lightly.

"Old friend, huh?" That sounded ominous to Hook. "Well why are you here then, and not this 'old friend'?"
