Hook shook his head. "I don't know whether to congratulate her or never make port here again," he said, his eyes still wider than normal.

"It would be hard to never make port here again, considering I'm going to be the honorary auntie," Rachel said, teasing him a bit. She kissed his cheek. "It'll be okay, I'm sure of it."

"They're going to have a child," Hook pointed out. "The child will undoubtedly have magic. I cannot see this ending well for someone like me, love."

"It'll be okay, Killian," Rachel assured him. She snuggled closer. "I have magic, too. I can fend off anything that comes your way."

Hook grumbled a bit, but pulled her closer and settled in with her happily enough.

Rachel grinned and kissed him. Even though she was only gone for a couple of days, she had still missed him.

Hook was more than happy to be distracted from thoughts of Gold and his child, instead focusing on Rachel.

Rachel was just as pleased to kiss him for a while. She still wasn't quite ready to go further than that, though.

Which was fine with Hook, although he did make sure she was comfortable before he got up to put the lights out before bed.

Rachel woke the next morning comfortably snuggled up to him, enough so that she didn't want to get up at all yet. She was more than fine with just staying there for a while.

Hook stretched out a bit before collapsing back into a boneless heap, quite content there for the moment. He didn't even wish her good morning yet; he wasn't awake enough.

Rachel just laid her head on his chest, content to keep dozing for a while. It was nice, the time just for the two of them, before anything else needed his attention.

Hook lazily rubbed her back, not quite sleeping but far too content to move just yet.

Rachel sighed softly at that, shifting just a little bit.

"I think I can hear the crew up and about," she murmured after a few moments.

"They know how to take care of themselves," Hook mumbled. "B'sides, shipment's not due until after noon." He yawned.

"Good," Rachel said. She snuggled closer. "Want you to myself a little longer."

"Mmm." Hook settled in there, lazily rubbing her back again. This he could get used to.

Rachel had no idea how long they lounged there, but she was forced to wake up a bit more when the thought of breakfast was more tempting than the thought of staying snuggled in with Killian. She stretched a little and nudged him.

"Hey," she murmured. "We should probably get up soon."

"Aye, it's past time." Hook sighed a bit but reluctantly got up. "Ah well. It was a nice lazy morning while it lasted."

"It was," Rachel agreed, getting up as well. Some of her hair fell out of her braid and over her shoulder. "At least we have some fresh fruits for breakfast."

"Indeed. After breakfast, I'll redo that for you." Hook brushed her hair back over her shoulder with a little grin.

"I'm starting to think you like playing with it more than I do," Rachel teased, grinning. "I'll dig my brush out of my bag once we eat."

Hook chuckled. "I just like doing what I can to help," he said, grinning rather impishly. "Besides, you never complain."

"Of course not," Rachel replied. She grinned. "I like the help, after all."

Hook chuckled and shook his head, getting dressed and ready for the day. He gave her some space to get ready as well.
