"We're in the middle of nowhere," Rachel pointed out. "How did you even get here?" She looked at him. "You realize I have to tell Killian you're here."

"Magic?" Henry shrugged. "I was at Gold's practicing, and there was this big pulse of magic, and then I was here." He paused for a moment. "Is Hook going to kick me off?"

"Magic, okay," Rachel said. "Tina told me you were taking lessons, I remember." She sighed and gestured to the door. "Come on. Let's go see Killian. Regardless of anything else, I doubt he'll kick you off until we get back to port. He wouldn't leave you with the dragons."

"Dragons?" Henry perked up a bit at that. "Why are we near dragons? I would have thought you'd avoid dragons."

"I promised something for Tina," Rachel said, grinning a bit. "You really do like fairy tale things, don't you?" She didn't miss how he'd perked up at the mention of dragons.

Henry grinned a bit, abashed. "Well, this is the first time I've been on a pirate ship, so dragons rounds things out nicely," he said.

"Well, we still have to go see Killian," Rachel said. "He should probably know there's an extra, unanticipated person on the ship."

Henry looked sheepish but nodded, following her back up above deck.

Hook did a double-take when he saw them.

Rachel grinned a bit when they got to Killian.

"Figured out what was going on," she said. "We seem to have acquired Henry at some point."

"So I see." Hook shook his head a bit, muttering something about magic. "Well, how long are you staying?" he asked, looking at Henry.

"Well, Rapunzel said something about dragons..." Henry said, trailing off and looking a bit hopeful. "And I've been practicing magic, I can be helpful!"

Hook sighed. "First rule: No fire on the ship. Ever." He gave Henry a stern look. "And you clear magic with her first." He nodded to Rachel.

"No fire on the ship, get Rapunzel's permission, got it," Henry said, nodding once and beaming. "So what's the plan? What's going on with dragons?"

"We're doing Rumplestiltskin a favor." Hook grinned. "We're getting him a dragon egg for the baby shower. I suppose it's technically for Tina, but I doubt he'll let her near it."

Henry blinked as the implication of that set in.

"Wow," he said. "I don't think Gold's ever owed anyone before. It's always the other way around."

"Exactly." Hook grinned, quite smug. "But first we do have to get an egg."

"So we're going to steal a dragon egg?" Henry asked. He grinned. "Awesome! How are we going to do it?"

"That is an excellent question," Hook said. "Haven't gotten that far yet. I was hoping we'd get lucky and the mother would be gone." He shrugged.

"Lucky for you, I've been thinking about it," Rachel broke in with a slight grin. "I was thinking something along the lines of magicking someone as close to invisible as possible and sending them in."

"It's still risky," Hook said. "It would have to be a volunteer." And he already had a sneaking feeling he was going to be volunteering.

"Well, yeah, I wasn't going to force anyone to do it," Rachel replied, nodding. "Honestly, I kind of figured I'd end up doing it, since nobody else is really at ease around magic yet." She looked at him, trying to gauge his reaction to that.

"You shouldn't go by yourself," Hook said. "And before you get upset, I would say the same to anyone. Easier to pull off a heist when you've got someone watching your back, love."

"I agree that a second person might be a good idea," Rachel admitted. "But who else would volunteer? Besides Henry," she added when the boy opened his mouth. "I'm not going to face down Gold and Emma and Neil because I let Henry walk into a dragon nest."

"Neither am I," Hook said with a grin. "I'll go with you. You can hold the spell for two, can you not?"

"Sure, just for two is easy enough," Rachel replied. She couldn't help but grin back. "I've decided you must drive your first mate to drink, jumping into danger all the time like you do."
