Red blinked. "Remembering more things?" she asked, looking curious.

"Thank you." Tina was quiet for a moment. "So what do I owe you?"

"I swear we've had almost this exact piece of conversation before," Rachel said. "The, um..." She gestured with her hands. "The 'are you sure' and 'granny won't mind' bits."

"How about just... a favor?" Gold asked. "A favor, for some time in the future." Not that he really needed it, since he still had a few undisclosed favors from other people, too, but it was always good to have, just in case.

"We probably have," Red agreed easily. "Probably more than a few times." She grinned unrepentantly. "Just let me know when you're ready to go."

Tina blinked. A favor? That was it? "Okay," she agreed. "That sounds fair enough, I suppose."

Rachel just looked at her and shook her head a bit.

"This is just so bizarre..." she said.

Gold nodded. He kept careful track of all of the people who owed him something.

"You'll get used to it with time," Red said with a grin. "Now drink your cocoa before it gets cold." She moved away to help someone else.

Tina looked at him curiously, tilting her head to the side a bit. "For some reason, Mr. Gold, I keep thinking I'll look over in a corner somewhere and find a spinning loom."

"It's just chocolate milk once it's cold," Rachel said, grinning. She sipped her cocoa anyways.

"Well, I don't know why you would think that," Gold replied. No, he wasn't going to tell her who he was, not before she was ready for the information.

"Cold, not room temperature," Red teased with a faint grin.

"Course you don't." Tina blinked at him once before she shook her head. "Thanks for the help, Mr. Gold. I'm sure I'll be seeing you soon."

Rachel just rolled her eyes.

"Can I have a cinnamon bun with it?" she asked. "Breakfast of champions and all."

"My pleasure," Gold replied. "Take care, Tina."

"Sure. Here you go." Red got one onto a plate and handed it over to Rachel with a grin.

"You too, Mr. Gold." Tina shot him a quick smile before she left the shop again, taking the long route back to the diner.

"Thanks," Rachel said, grinning at Red.

Red grinned back and then waved at Tina as the other made her way over to the counter. "Can I get you anything?"

"Hot cocoa?" Tina asked hopefully.

Red snickered and nodded, going to make another cup.

Rachel grinned when Tina sat down next to her.

"How did it go?" she asked.

"Pretty well. Mr. Gold mentioned this one would be good." Tina pulled out the paper and pointed to the appropriate ad. "And I think I'm going to go talk to Sheriff Swan and see about the position available there."

"Red said it was a good one, too," Rachel agreed, looking at the listing Tina was pointing to. "She offered to go with us to take a look at it." She looked at her friend. "You want to work at the sheriff station?"

"That should be fun," Tina offered cautiously. She still didn't remember much of anyone else in the town, but she knew Red was okay. "Yeah, that seems like the best option of the three. I can't work at a school, that just has disaster written all over it."

"I could work at a school, though, it wouldn't be too hard," Rachel said. "So you can have the sheriff station job, I'll try for the school secretary job."

Tina nodded, deciding not to tell her about the assistant librarian position until she knew whether or not Gold could do it.

"Well, when you're done, let's go check out the apartment and see about moving in and getting settled."

Rachel nodded and finished off her cinnamon bun.

"Ready when you are," she said. "We should tell Red we're heading over."

Tina nodded, but she didn't even have to get Red's attention. Red wandered over to them, leaning against the counter again.

"So, planning on heading over to the apartment?" she asked.

"Yeah, in a few minutes," Rachel replied. "I mean, if you still want to go with us. We're still going over, but if you're still busy it's fine."

Red rolled her eyes. "Of course I'm going with you," she said, glancing around. "Let me just do one last check and then we can go."

Tina nodded, setting money down for her hot cocoa and then waiting for the other two to be done.

Rachel nodded as well and waited for Red.

"So I remember Red being there--well before," she said softly to Tina. "More than once. I think she came around pretty often."

"I... don't really remember that. I haven't remembered very many people. Not-us, not-Gold, and one or two others. Mostly I just remember being in the trees a lot." Tina shrugged, looking out at the forest. "And avoiding people, I remember that."

"I always remember the tower," Rachel admitted. "I don't think I was allowed to leave."

"Well, that fits with the story," Tina agreed.

Red walked over to them with a grin. "Ready to go?" she asked, leading the way out of the diner.
