"Depends, was there something you wanted to see?" Rachel asked in return.
"I enjoyed the meal, as always," Gold said to Tina as she put the plates aside. "You are a very good cook."

Hook was quiet for a moment. "I noticed last time you have Peter Pan," he said, glancing at her. "The live action one?" Because he'd seen it but he still kind of liked it.
"Thanks." Tina smiled. "I'm glad you're still enjoying it and I haven't somehow discovered you're allergic to something. 'Cause that would not have been fun."

"The 2003 movie? Yeah, we can put that one in," Rachel said, getting up. Just as she opened the DVD box, though, lightning flashed and the power went out. "Or not."
"Lucky for us, I have no food allergies," Gold replied, smiling just a bit at her.

Hook blinked. "Ah, candles?" he prompted after a moment. Although he was okay in the dark, he'd rather make sure he didn't step on anything or bump into anything.
"Good thing." Tina grinned briefly, and then jumped when thunder crashed overhead and the power went out. "Well, at least we're not outside," she offered weakly.

Rachel hesitated for a moment.
"Hold on," she said finally. "I want to try something." Holding up one of her hands, she went way back through her memories, trying to remember how to do what she was about to attempt. After a moment, a small flame flickered into existence at her fingertips.
"Indeed," Gold said. A ball of light appeared in one of his hands. "I think it would be best if you didn't try to make it back home while the storm is happening." He was quiet for a second or two. "If you'd like, you can take shelter in my home until it passes."

Hook jumped, his eyes wide. "Wow. Holy shit, wow, love. Been hiding something from me have you?" He was still wide-eyed but calming down some.
Tina was quiet for a moment, looking at him, trying to gauge how sincere he was about that. "Thank you," she said quietly, sincerely. "I think that sounds like a good option, until it eases up enough that I can get home."

"I wasn't sure if I could do it," Rachel admitted, glancing from the flame to him. "I mean, I sort of remembered, but..." She flipped her braid over her shoulder, a bit self-conscious. Rather than being to her shoulderblades, her braid was now down to her lower back.
"My pleasure," Gold replied. "If you would follow me, then?" He gestured for her to go into the office. "The shop is just the front; the rest of the building is my home."

Hook grinned briefly. "My, my," he purred. "I'm pleasantly surprised, love." Then he backed off a bit. "And impressed."
Tina nodded and stood, following him back through the office and into the house proper, glancing around quickly.

"You're pleasantly surprised that I can spark fire from my hands?" Rachel teased as she went to find some candles to light. "Since when has fire become a pleasant surprise? Especially to a sailor?"
Once inside, Gold led her to the large living room.
"Please, make yourself comfortable," he said. Going over to the fireplace, he made sure there was wood in it and lit it.

"It's a pleasant surprise that you're regaining your memories enough to do that," Hook said with a grin. "Although I will have to ask you to keep that parlor trick to yourself near my ship, love."
Tina moved over to a couch, sitting down and curling her feet under her after taking her shoes off. "Nice place."

"No pretty fire tricks near Killian's highly flammable Jolly Rodger," Rachel replied, grinning a bit as she lit a few candles. She made sure they were all unscented, even though they were all different colors. Waving her fingers, the magic flame disappeared.
"Thank you, dearie," Gold replied. "It's no palace, but it is home."

Hook just chuckled and settled down again. "I would prefer not to have to rebuild any more of my ship," he said mildly.
"Hey, that all depends on your point of view," Tina said with a grin. "It's a hell of a lot better than a tree. Or a leaky cave."

"You'd have a hell of a time doing it here," Rachel agreed, setting the candles around the room to light as much as possible.
"There was a castle, once," Gold pointed out. "Where else would there have been a tower?"

"Indeed." Hook smiled faintly and settled there. "Are you comfortable?" he asked quietly, watching her.
"True," Tina agreed, settling back into his couch. "But even still. Non-leaky roof. Much better way to wait out a storm, trust me."

Rachel's brow furrowed slightly. She wasn't entirely sure she understood the question.
"Comfortable enough," she ventured. "You?"
"Indeed," Gold replied. "The roof is sound, the windows and doors tight, and the floor isn't made of dirt." Because even if nobody wanted to remember it, Gold had once lived like any other common man.

"Oh, I'm fine," Hook said with a shrug. "I just thought I'd make sure I wasn't overstaying my welcome." He raised his eyebrows at her.
That made Tina smile. Because of course she hadn't been around back then and almost no one talked about his past.
"You might as well get comfortable if we're going to be here for a while," she suggested quietly, looking at him before looking at the fire again.

"Killian, I wouldn't throw you out in this weather," Rachel said, a bit indignant. Although, in fact, she didn't really want to throw him out at all.
Gold nodded to her and settled on the couch, setting his cane aside but within reach.

That made him smile. "I knew there was a reason I didn't give up on you," he couldn't help but tease gently.
Tina was quiet for a few moments before she grinned.
"So, this a one-time pass? Should I banish all memories from my mind? Should I never mention this again? Well, I'd only be telling Rachel, but still." She grinned at him, fully expecting him to say yes and already steeling herself for that.

Rachel couldn't help but blush a bit and hoped he couldn't see it in the dim candlelight.
"Tina, if I didn't want you here, I would have simply had us stay in my shop," Gold pointed out.

Hook couldn't really see, and he wouldn't comment anyway. Mostly he was content to spend more time with her knowing he was (slowly, possibly) getting somewhere.
"True," Tina admitted after a minute. She still wasn't convinced, but this would have to be good enough apparently.

After a moment or two, Rachel settled in on the couch, curling up on one end and getting comfortable. The storm was still going strong outside, so she figured they'd be stuck for a while.

Hook got comfortable there, settling in. He could go without sleep tonight, he didn't mind, if it made Rachel feel better.
Tina ended up dozing off after a few hours of snuggling into his couch, curled up with her head back against the cushions, neck exposed. She hadn't meant to; his couch was too damn comfy.

Rachel ended up drifting off to sleep at some point, not even realizing that she had somehow cuddled up to Hook. She was comfortable there, though, even if she didn't mean to do it.
Gold just let Tina sleep, although he did magic a blanket to cover her. It seemed best not to wake her.

Hook didn't move, managing to drape a blanket over her before settling in for the night.
Tina managed to curl closer to him somehow, though she stayed asleep through the night, even when the storm eased sometime after dawn.

The storm was well over by the time Rachel woke up. At first, she didn't want to move because hey, her bed was warm and comfy. Then she realized that she was still on the couch, and was snuggled up to someone. Opening her eyes, she blushed horribly when she realized she was snuggled up to Hook.
