Hook was still awake at that point, but he didn't say anything. He just yawned briefly and stayed there, too warm and comfortable to move.

Rachel jumped slightly when she realized he was awake.

"S-sorry," she mumbled. "I didn't mean to fall asleep on you."

"It's fine," Hook said quietly, a little smile on his face. "I didn't mind. Besides, I was comfy all night, and it seemed a shame to move you and wake you up."

"Still," Rachel said, "I didn't mean to." She got up carefully, scooting to the other side of the couch. "Did you sleep at all?"

"Not really," Hook said with a shrug. "It's not an uncommon occurrence for me." He stretched out briefly before getting to his feet.

"It's not good to go too long without sleep," Rachel pointed out, getting up and leaving the blanket on the couch.

"I'll sleep tonight," Hook said with a careless shrug. Really, it didn't make that big a difference to him. Of course, he also wasn't overly concerned with his own health.

Rachel just raised an eyebrow slightly. He wasn't all that convincing, in this instance.

Hook looked at her and huffed, getting up and stretching again briefly before moving around the living room. "Well, what kind of response do you want?" he asked reasonably.

"I'm not convinced that you're actually going to do such things as take care of yourself," Rachel said, watching him.

"I will," Hook said with a careless shrug. "Once I get a few things done, anyway."

"Still not convincing," Rachel said. She didn't push about it, though.

Hook chuckled abruptly. "If I were to meet you for lunch I doubt I'd forget to eat," he said with a teasing little grin.

Rachel blinked, and then grinned a bit.

"Very sneaky," she said. "When?"

"Ah... 12:30? That should give me time to get some things done." Hook looked at her, raising his eyebrows.

"I'll meet you at the diner, then," Rachel said, smiling a bit.

Hook nodded with a grin and let himself out, shutting the door behind him before heading back to his ship.

Meanwhile, Tina had slept a little longer than Rachel had, and she tried to curl closer to the source of warmth next to her as she started to wake up.

Gold was reclining on the couch a bit with his feet propped up. He'd noticed that Tina had snuggled closer while she slept, and he wasn't about to discourage her. To be honest, it was kind of... nice, to have someone actually want that sort of contact with him. So he let her cuddle all she liked even as he drifted in and out of sleep.

Tina yawned and lifted her head slowly, blinking around blearily. Then she groaned and went practically boneless again. It took her a few seconds to realize why her bed wasn't as wide as normal, and was a lot warmer than normal, and then she opened her eyes and looked up at Gold. And promptly turned red.

That brought Gold back to full wakefulness.

"Good morning," he greeted quietly.

"Morning," Tina managed, sitting up after a few moments. "Sorry. Didn't mean to fall asleep on you, and certainly not quite so literally."

"No harm done," Gold replied, letting her move. "I didn't mind."

Tina blinked at that and looked at him. "I wonder if you'll ever stop surprising me," she mused aloud, making no move to actually get off the couch yet.

"Perhaps," Gold offered. "Hopefully not. I rather like being a bit unpredictable, myself."

Tina laughed at that, unable to resist scooting over closer to him, putting her feet up next to him. "Yeah, I'll just bet you do."
