Hook just grinned. Ah yes, classic crocodile evasion tactics. He cared. A lot.

"So do you actually know where you're going?"

"If you doubt me, why are you still following?" Gold asked, looking a bit sideways at him.

"Because you're more likely to know than any of the sheep that came back from Storybrooke," Hook said with a snort.

"Well, not necessarily," Gold said. After all, Regina would likely know, as well. Technically.

Hook just rolled his eyes and didn't argue the point any further. He knew better by now, after all.

Gold continued straight towards the tracking spell he'd tagged Tina with. It wasn't far now.

Hook paused when he saw the ruined building Cora was staying in.

"Well, that's helpful," he said sarcastically.

"Part of it is a glamour," Gold said, heading for the building. "Cora is likely down below, in the dungeons."

Hook just followed him silently, glancing at the remains of the building. "Proud of what your curse has done to this world?"

"Contrary to speculation, I did not set the particulars of the curse," Gold said as he picked his way through the rubble. "It was, in fact, created to mold itself to the desires of the caster; in this case, Regina."

"Ah, makes much more sense," Hook said mildly. "You were too good at playing people to want to get rid of them all."

"I cannot deny being good at what I do," Gold said. His cane came down on a section of floor that gave a hollow 'thump.' "Ah," he said, "here we are." Waving a hand, all of the dirt blew away to reveal a large trap door.

Hook inspected it for a moment before he reached down and hauled it open.

"Well, we may as well see what we can find." He moved down the stairs almost silently, taking his time and keeping his gaze moving.

Gold could feel enchantments all over the place, and he made sure to tread carefully. He didn't want to break or trip any of them yet and alert Cora to their presence.

Hook ignored most of the rooms they passed, as they were either open or covered in enchantments.

He did pause by a door a little ways away from the others, light seeping out from under it. He looked at Gold, raising an eyebrow.

Gold looked at the door and readied a spell that would protect him--them--from anything malicious on the other side. Then he nodded to Hook to do what he wanted to the door.

Hook tried the door, surprised when it was unlocked. He pushed it open, moving half a step to the side just in case, and then paused when nothing jumped out at them.

Poking his head in the door, he froze for a moment when he saw Rachel. And then he started across the room.

Rachel froze when she heard the door, and scrambled back on the bed again. When the door opened and she saw Killian, though, her breath caught.

Hook crossed the room swiftly and grabbed her, pulling her into a tight hug, releasing her only after several moments.

"Did she hurt you?" he asked, looking her over swiftly. "What did she want?"

Rachel squeaked in surprise when she was pulled into the hug, but didn't push her way out of it.

"I'm fine," she said. "She... I don't know, she said she wanted an apprentice." She looked up at him. "What are you doing here? I thought you'd be gone by now..."

"Gone?" Hook snorted. "No. You're staying with me, and she stole you. I wasn't about to let her get away with that." He paused for a moment, lowering his voice.

"Besides, the ship seemed rather big and quiet without you there."

Rachel blushed a bit and hesitantly cuddled a bit closer.

"I wasn't sure if you would really come," she said.

"'Course I would," Hook said. "Don't doubt that. Now, what say you to getting out of this place?"

"Fantastic plan, says I," Rachel replied. She didn't move to leave his arms, though.

Hook kept one arm around her, moving out of the room and looking at Gold briefly. He was half-tempted to just take Rachel and go, but Gold had helped. Sort of.

"Alright, where's your little fairy-girl?"
