"No," Tina said after a moment. "I decided I wanted another look." She shrugged, looking at him and flashing him a quick smile. "Sorry to disappoint."

"Well, if you see anything that catches your fancy, let me know," Gold said as he gave her a brief not-quite-smirk in return.

Tina noticed the look but didn't say anything, just looking around the shop. She went back to the flowers again though, touching one with a fingertip.

"I'm surprised you have so much," she said, glancing back at him. "For being in such a small town. If you were in Chicago, I wouldn't be surprised."

"I collected quite a bit over time," Gold replied. "Bits and pieces."

"I can imagine." Tina went back to the flowers. "You know, my mom had some like these. Some cute little glass flowers. Only hers didn't look nearly so realistic. She kept them in a glass vase." She was quiet for a few moments before she shook herself. "I'm sorry, that was odd."

"No, not at all," Gold replied. "Those came to me from a woman desperate to have her heart's desire." He nodded to the glass flowers.

"Amazing what people will trade." Tina smiled a little. "If I had something like these, I don't think you'd be able to wrest them from me." She shook herself again and headed around to the rest of the shop.

"Many people say that, at first," Gold replied knowingly, watching her move about the shop.

"That's just the slightest bit creepy," Tina said, glancing back at him. "But that's okay. To each his own." She started around the shop again, pausing to look at little glass unicorn decorations.

Gold tilted his head a bit at her.

"My apologies," he said. "It wasn't my intention to unnerve you."

"You didn't quite." Tina grinned briefly. "It was creepy, yes, but not quite unnerving."

She made her way over to the glass cases near him, glancing at him before looking in the cases again. "So you've been here a while, right?"

"A while sounds about right, yes," Gold replied.

Tina snorted at his phrasing. "Alright. Maybe you can tell me why everyone in this town has been so odd around us since we got here."

"I'm certain I don't know what you mean," Gold replied. "I... rarely get out of my shop, unless pressing matters need my attention. So I'm sure I haven't seen any odd behavior." That didn't mean, however, that he didn't know about it. But it was much more fun to watch the drama unfold from the outside.

"Ah. Pity." Tina shrugged. "Just thought I'd ask." She had the feeling he knew more than he was saying, but she wasn't going to press for information.

"Wish I could help you more," Gold replied. "But I can't."

"Don't worry about it," Tina said with a shrug. "We'll be going later today anyway so it's not a big deal."

"Leaving so soon?" Gold asked. He shook his head a bit. "Ah, no matter. You're just passing through, I imagine."

"Yeah. Just on vacation." Tina shrugged. "Although I must admit this has been the most unique stop."

"Well, then, I hope the rest of your trip is just as... unique," Gold said. "Perhaps one day you'll return."

"Perhaps. One never knows." Tina smiled a little. "It was nice meeting you." She dipped her head to him.

"And a pleasure meeting you, as well," Gold replied, tipping his head a bit.

Tina moved out of the shop, taking her time walking back to the hotel. For some reason, she wanted to stay longer. She wanted to stay in the shop and look around again, talk to Gold more. But she knew that wasn't going to happen, so instead she just went back to the hotel to see how Rachel's shopping had gone.

Rachel hadn't really done much shopping. It was too unnerving, hearing faint whispers and seeing the stares, so she'd only bought a couple of things and left.

"Have fun?" Tina asked as she got up to her room. "You look like you're just about ready to go."
