"Don't worry about it," Hook said quietly. "I'm just glad you're feeling better now." He rubbed her back gently.

"Still... I didn't mean to let my issues explode like that," Rachel said. Hesitantly, she rested her head on his shoulder.

Hook shrugged a little, careful not to disturb her. "Oh well. It happens. Don't worry about it." He kept rubbing her back, though he was careful to keep his hook away from her.

After a moment, Rachel reluctantly pushed out of his arms.

"I should let you get back to work," she said quietly.

Hook grabbed her again. "I am working. I'm working on making you feel better. It's very important work, you know."

Rachel blushed a bit, although she couldn't help cracking a bit of a smile.

"Not as important as keeping your ship seaworthy, though," she protested.

"Keeping her seaworthy is easy enough, especially as we're not going anywhere at the moment." Hook grinned briefly.

Rachel looked down a bit.

"I don't mean to keep you here if there are other places you want to be," she said softly.

"Where would I go? We don't know how much of the rest of the world held up, there are no more magic beans to go to other worlds, and even if I wanted to go somewhere else, which I don't, I am rather lacking in crew." Hook smiled crookedly. "It's hard to man a ship this size by myself for more than a day or so."

"Magic can fix that last bit," Rachel pointed out. She grinned a bit. "Didn't you learn anything from the fourth Pirates movie? I bet that can be done."

"Yes, but you're assuming I want to use magic," Hook pointed out. "Which I don't."

"With sufficient practice, I could do it," Rachel pointed out. "Technically, you wouldn't be using magic, then." She grinned a bit, teasingly.

Hook snorted. "Do you know to even start practicing?" he asked, looking at her. Because he knew she could do magic, he just didn't know how much.

"A little," Rachel said. "And appropriate supervision would probably be a good thing. But think about it. If I could learn enough for that, you wouldn't need a crew."

"It is a curious thought." Hook was quiet for a moment. "I don't know if it's possible to get appropriate supervision, though."

"We can find out," Rachel said. She cuddled closer to him. "Later, though. For now, settling in sounds good."

Hook nodded and pulled her back down below deck so they could settle in for the rest of the day.

"Sure you're feeling alright?" he asked, looking at her.

"Alright enough," Rachel said after a moment. She wasn't completely back to normal, but she was getting there. "You don't have to stay, you know. I know you have other things that need your attention."

"And they'll all keep until tomorrow," Hook said with a shrug. "Besides, I want to be here."

Rachel smiled a little at that and settled a bit closer to him.

Hook smirked faintly and stayed there, keeping his arm around her.

Rachel wasn't entirely sure when it had happened, but the two ended up laying down with her snuggled up to him comfortably, finally relaxing.

Hook totally didn't mind that. He just settled in there, feeling rather decidedly smug about the whole situation.

Elsewhere, Gold had managed to get his anger under control for the most part and had made a pot of tea to help him calm down the rest of the way.

Tina was still hiding up in the tower, going through hers and Rachel's old things, making a list. There wasn't much up there she still wanted, but she couldn't help looking through everything yet again.
