Rachel went back down below decks once Tina left. She needed to pack some of her things.

Hook blinked when he saw her packing, and he had a brief moment of panic.

"Rachel, love, you're not planning on leaving are you?"

Rachel jumped slightly when she heard him; she hadn't heard him come in.

"Tina just showed up," she said, turning to him. "She asked if I wanted to go with her for a couple of days. Just a couple days, I'll be back after that." She bit her lip slightly. "I'm just a bit restless, that's all. I promise I'm not leaving-leaving."

Hook relaxed a bit at that. "I see," he said. He paused for a moment. "Well, a few days should be fine, long as the little fairy brings you back in good condition."

And if not he would be very Not Pleased.

Rachel went over and gave him a hug.

"I'll be back in a few days, I promise," she said.

"Just be sure you do come back," Hook said, pulling her a little closer and settling his arms around her. "Or I'll go looking for you."

"I'll do my best to at least come back and check in," Rachel said, cuddling into his arms.

"You'd better." Hook rested his head on hers, holding her there gently.

"I will," Rachel said. She smiled a bit. "You don't have to worry about me leaving you. I won't."

Hook didn't say anything, just staying there with her for a little bit. Then he reluctantly released her.

"You may as well go pack up so you don't have to worry about that in the morning."

Rachel nodded and reluctantly let go.

"Alright," she said. "It won't take me long to pack a bag."

Hook nodded. "I'll be in my room," he said, looking at her for a moment before he smiled a bit. "In case you want to see me again before you go to bed."

Rachel smiled.

"Alright," she said. "I might just drop in." Because, whether she would admit it or not, she wanted to cuddle with him for a while.

Hook smiled and nodded, going back to his room as well to get comfortable for the night.

Once Rachel was packed for a few days, she changed into something comfortable and then went to knock on Hook's door. Settling in for the evening with him sounded wonderful.

Hook opened the door, already down to a pair of sleep pants and a loose shirt. He smiled a bit and moved aside to let her in.

"Well, you look comfortable," Rachel teased a little as she went in.

"I do like to be comfortable when I sleep," Hook teased right back, shutting the door once they were both inside before going to go sprawl out.

Rachel promptly went over and tucked herself against his side, making herself comfy there.

Hook draped an arm over her, settling in and getting comfortable there. He was more than content to stay that way for a while.

"I meant to tell you I was getting restless," Rachel said softly, settling in. "I guess it's habit to just not mention it."

"By now? I'd imagine so." Hook settled in there a little more comfortably. "But I don't mind. So long as you come back, anyway."

"I'll come back," Rachel promised. She laid her head on his shoulder. "I won't leave you."

Hook cuddled in a little closer to her, relaxing next to her. He didn't say anything, just closing his eyes.

Rachel relaxed there, cuddling close. She even dozed off for a bit, drifting in and out of a light sleep.
