Tina was quick to follow suit, looking a little green.

Hook watched them for a minute before going over to Rachel again.

Gold put an arm around her shoulders, steadying her.

"The seasickness will pass," he said quietly. He bit back a growl. "Although if a certain someone had made more of an effort to remember herself, you would never have been in that predicament."

Rachel was quiet as she leaned against one of the railings.

Tina blinked. Where had that come from? "Gold, you can't blame her," she said gently, and then had to pause and close her eyes for several moments.

Hook leaned next to her, his back against the railing as he examined the nearest rigging.

"What do you think you could have done, even if you remembered everything?"

"No, I think I can," Gold replied shortly. "I had taught her so much, and now it's for naught."

"I don't know," Rachel said after a moment. "I don't remember what I lost. For all I know, I knew something that could have helped us. Something to have driven the mermaids away, something to have gotten us off the island, just something."

Tina sighed a bit and leaned against him a bit as the seasickness faded.

"Let's just go home, please," she said quietly. She wasn't willing to argue with him anymore.

Hook sighed but didn't say anything more, just rubbing her back gently.

"Come on," he said gently. "How about we go take a nap?"

Gold was quiet for a moment, and then nodded.

"Home it is," he said.

Rachel hesitated and got up off of the railing.

"That sounds good," she said softly, nodding.

Tina walked with him back to the castle, though she didn't release his hand. She didn't want to. Once they got back, she still didn't release him, just moving over to the couch.

Hook lowed her down to his room, motioning for her to get comfortable while he settled down.

Gold let her pull him over to the couch, sitting down with her.

Rachel went over and settled down, curling up on her side. Just settling down and having some quiet sounded nice.

Tina immediately curled into his side, settling there to let herself relax for a while.

Hook settled in behind her, draping an arm over her loosely and just staying there for a while. At least he knew she was safe now.

Gold put an arm around her, letting her cuddle. He didn't say anything, however, just working on reigning in his temper.

Rachel snuggled close to Hook.

"I need to remember more," she said softly.

"How do you plan do to that?" Hook asked quietly. "Break the remains of the curse?"

"I don't know," Rachel admitted. "But I have to do something." She was quiet for a moment. "I didn't want to remember. I still kind of don't. But I think I have to."

Hook nodded. "If you think it's what you have to do," he said quietly. Because he wasn't going to push her into anything.

"I should have been able to do something," Rachel insisted. "I should have. I just couldn't remember what to do. I can't keep going like this."

"Well, once we figure out how to get your memories back, you'll know more. And you can learn more from the crocodile, as much as I dislike the man." Hook settled his arm more firmly around her.

Rachel snuggled closer, taking comfort in the embrace.

"I'm a bit afraid," she admitted after a moment. "I don't know if I'll be the same person after."

"I don't think you'll change that much," Hook said quietly. "You're essentially still the same person, you'll just have some different memories and perspectives."

"I read somewhere once that memories and experiences are what make a person who they are," Rachel countered softly. "So it's very possible that I'll be a different person when a different set of memories appears."

"Maybe," Hook allowed. "I don't know. I haven't been through that, so I can't say."

"I don't want to be a different person," Rachel said quietly. "But I think it's time to put on my big-girl pants and try to get my memories back."

Hook chuckled quietly and kissed her cheek. "Well, no matter how it turns out, I'll still be here," he murmured. "And you won't have to go through this alone."

"Promise?" Rachel asked softly, turning a bit so she could see him.

"I promise." Hook smiled a bit and tucked her closer.

"Thanks," Rachel murmured, snuggling close. "I appreciate it."

Hook smiled and stayed quiet, just holding her there. He could stay there for the rest of the day, easy.
