A lot of people don't accept random requests, I know I don't, so you're better off actually chatting to people before you ask :)

Vinyl is correct though! A good bit of our members like to connect and chat with others before friend requesting. That's not to say that everyone is like that though. There are some who don't mind a random request. You could check out the hangouts in Menewsha Nation or help greet our new members who are usually pretty eager to make friends.

I don't add people that aren't my friends. This site is more community-oriented, so people chat and meet each other easier. You have to make a friend to have them considered a friend, right? It's like going up to strangers in the street and saying "Will you be my friend?" I'd say no, go away. I don't know you, you're not my friend, it's a little weird. So, to have friends, you need to make them.

I don't add people unless I've talked to them first - if I get random requests or PMs I usually just ignore them to be honest with you. I feel bad but I don't want my stuff to get out of hand XDDDD Honestly - just jump into a conversation over in the nations forum and you will be making friends in no time.

I'll add anyone... but if they don't talk to me I assume they are just adding me to get a big friends list and will remove them over time.

Basically if I think "Who the heck are you?" I remove it.

If I get random friend requests, I usually ask the person why. I'm not really one for auto-accepting, and I clear out my friends list every so often if I haven't talked to people in a while. Most of the people on my friends list are roleplay partners of mine, since I'm more of a roleplayer than a chatter.

I'm much like the others, if I get a random friend request I'll either ask why they've added me or ignore it. I've actually never actively sent any friend requests, and I clear my friends list of people who don't seem active on the site or I haven't talked to in ages. As a result I've only a few friends on Menewsha that are on my friends list. I'd probably consider a few more people my friends but as I said earlier, I don't send friend requests.

Interesting how the general opinion on here is not being keen on random requests, isn't it? I get quite a few because of my position on here, and I do reject them all because I'm an evil bitch.

But in all honesty, I really hate getting requests from people when I don't have a clue who they are ._.

Making friends is tough if you're antisocial, but everyone on here is really friendly! xD

Its easy to make friends here. Just even a random PM or post to their profile if you don't want to chat on forums. Most of my friend (If not all) Are from Role Playing. That is my hole. Which is moving too slow now for the event >.<

the forums are a big friends circle and much more comfy i think :) i am happy in menewsha :D
