So yeah if you go in expecting something like the other two authors you're going to be disappointed, if you think that they are the only way to write vampires you're going to be pisssssed. *shrug*

Then again maybe my book will be a disappointment to some because I'll be writing vampires my way as well as other things XD. *shrugs* mine don't burst into flames from the sun either simply because that made no sense to me if you write a vampire as an animated corpse (as i will and most legends do). I mean corpses don't when exposed to sunlight so why would vampires? I can get it weakening their magical power for some reason (mine lose their powers during daylight hours and become essentially 'human') but not the 'sunlight kills but moonlight isn't because of 'magic'' . XD. And people can't say 'well the legends say' because..... they don't. The sunlight thing (like silver for werewolves) was first introduced in a movie and has NO basis in lore or logic so my vampires are immune. aaand i'm done now.

that was interesting, but when you write the sky is the limits and your mind is a another world of creation and ideas of whichever you choose. I guess certain things about vampires still stick in my head but hey, someone has to come up with something different right?

@killa: Lol he is a sweety <3. But right now he's also hyper, i'm covered in scratches from the elbow down because he's too young to be able to control his claws yet XD. He's just clingy right now though because he was abandoned for two days or so (that's how long my cousin says he was cryiing, and i believe it because he lost his voice after a couple hours here from crying and i've had lots of foundlings but he's the first to lose his voice).

He's still not sure if I'll always come back or if I'll go out 'hunting' or we/e and never come back like his real mom. XD. He's barely learned to understand that food will always be there (he was overeating to the point i had to take the food away to keep him from hurting himself. He'd give himself a stomach ache, make his stomach swell bigger then his head, and still want to keep eating). In time he'll figure out i'm not going anywhere and probably wont be so sweet or clingy but right now he's still going through that stage. A lot of abandoned kittens do. They get scared if you walk away for even a minute because they genuinely think you won't come back and they'll die. It can take weeks before they learn their safe and you'll always come back. I've had him for almost three so it probably won't take too much longer. He did know to sit on the lap top and wait instead of cry and that's the first time he hasn't just started crying the second he figures out i'm gone.

What I'm trying to work on is Yumeh Plushie and Evil Overlord (this is for Janus.)

That's how I think of it too but some people are still saying it has 'ruined' vampires forever that Stephenie meyer wrote them that way XD. People get very protective of their interpretation of myths *shrug* but since you seem so openminded about things I would definitely give twilight a try. The worst thing that can happen is if you don't like it you can say to twilight fans 'I have read it, i dont like it' and that be that XD.

@killa: yes XD though right now he's screaming because i have turkey lunch meat >.>... He has recently completed the transition to solid food and discovered the wonders of human food XD.
