A blue glow what!? is it like a special edition DS3?

::shakes head:: Nope. It's a 3rd party PS3 controller, that glows in the dark, or when it vibrates. It's one of my favorite 3rd party controllers, just second to Logitech.

Have you guys heard anything bad about the PS3 super slim yet? I might be buying one soon.

Also, with regards to the PS4, probably no backwards compatibility, it'd cost too much I think. But you can keep your PS3, of course!

In other news they stopped making the PS2 in Japan after almost 13 years in production and with over 115 million units sold i think that it was a good success, although they are going to still make PS2 games in Japan.

As long as it doesn't brick on me then I'm fine with it being smaller, lighter, and therefore cheaper.

I think that the PS3SS has had all the knicks ironed out now, this seems to be the last incarnation of the model i think before the PS4 is annouced/released.

Yea... the PS3SS seems to be the last reincarnation before setting up for an announcement on the PS4. I'm thinking there will be a big announcement either E3, or Tokyo Game Show. I can't see it being announced at another convention.

As far as the system is concerned, I haven't heard much negativity about the PS3SS. Some of my friends actually like the system. There are a boat load of games available for the system now.

I'm thinking that ill go straight to a ps4 from my fatty ps3 haha! I'll just have to move my GT5 save over... It's my life on their... :P

I played my new ps3 for a few hours, the disk noise was a bit noisy, but fine with the tv. I like it. :3

Interesting how it was downplayed. Personally, if the news broke that the PS4 cannot play used games, I would NOT be purchasing the system.

I read that too. :( And you're not alone on that front. If they put that technology that they patented into the next console, I'll have to pass on it.

I get why they might want to curb used game sales. However, for a lot of people... Those used games are how they get into gaming and/or game series. Restricting the ability to play used titles will have them lose more money than they are losing now with people buying pre-owned games.

Totally. It would also kill companies like Gamefly.

Used games are what makes the video game business. Sure, you can purchase the brand new game, with the loaded pre-order bonuses, but not many are into that. They just want the game at a cheaper price. Games are expensive.

Not being funny I saw this and was like "what the hell are they playing at!" If this does go ahead then I will not be getting a PS4. Fact. I'm planning on getting a X360 after playing on one last night, it certainly provided a different view on things from the PS3.

I've just realised that i don't have time for a Xbox :')

The majority of my gaming time has gone straight to the Vita. There aren't a lot of games our right now that interest me enough to play them... Well, maybe Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch will.

I played with a vita yesterday its quite chunky from what I frist thought and a bit bigger then I imagined but still good none the less :)

It is a little big, for a hand-held. However, after playing with the system, it comes a natural fit. The PSP is a bit small for me now. XD

I just got a Vita last week. Can't wait till DOA5 comes to the Vita in March. My Gamertag is Kasumi6789.

Duelshock may be cancelled for PS4, Biometrics and touch screens rumoured...

AMD is OK... but they're better suited for computers, not gaming consoles. I don't want a touch pad for a controller. I'd buy a WiiU for that crap.

Just popping in here to share how angry I am that Monster Hunter has moved to be a Nintendo franchise. I was looking forward to getting a Vita too but now I am left with no current gen handhelds. ):

That wasn't a great move, in my opinion. The Vita and PS3 are much better systems compared to the 3DS and Wii/Wii U.

For the Vita, Gravity Rush, Persona 4: Golden, and Ragnarok Odyssey are good games to start on the system. There are plenty of others available, too.
