The blue blood didn't seem to worried. "Very well...being himin so I can observe the wound."

Tavros pushed Gamzee inside the hive, wishin he could've cleaned the wound better.

Equius just picked Gamzee up and sat him on the edge of a workbench. He examined the stub, frowing. "For the leg to fit properly, I'm going to have to cut further up his leg. And we'll also need to wait for the wound to heal...we're looking at a few months here..."

"F-few months...?" Tavros frowned. "There's no way to make it be sooner?"

"You want him to live?" Equius crossed his arms.

"I do!!" Tavros looked down. "I-If that's what it takes...."

He pointed to the door. "Out. Leave him here."

Tavros was hesitant, but kissed Gamzee once on the lips and once on the forehead. "I love you Gamzee...." He sighed and left.

He almost reached out to grab Tavros, trying to stop him from leaving, but Equius prevented that, grabbing his wrist. Once Tavros was out of the room, Equius strapped Gamzee down to the bench, looking at him with pity. He started cutting away part of his leg, shoving a towel in his mouth as he screamed.

Tavros could hear Gamzee's screams and sat in the ground, pulling his knees to his chest and covering his ears. It felt like he was having his heart ripped out.

Equius cringed a little at the screams and wails, the sound nearly busting his ear drums. Once he finished, he sewed up the wound, warning more cries. When he stopped, Gamzee was covered in sweat and his eyes were blood shot, wide and insane. He quivered against the table, not moving when his restraints were taken off. Equius brought Gamzee out, not wanting Tavros to see the mess in the room.

Tavros looked up quickly when he heard the door open. "Is he...okay....?" Tavros moved to Gamzee not touching him from fear of hurting him.

Equius set Gamzee down in the wheel chair. "He'll be ok...just make him rest and check with me once a week..."

He nodded. "thank you so much Equius!"

Equius gave a brief nod, not showing any emotion. "You're welcome..."

He looked at Gamzee and sighed before wheeling him to his own hive so they didn't have to worry about stairs.

Gamzee looked down at the stub touching it with a disgusted expression.

"don't touch it Gamzee..," he said softly.

"It itches..." He frowned, scratching at the air with frustration, having ghost itches.

"I understand..." Tavros pet Gamzee's hair. "it'll itch for awhile."

He sat back, looking extremely annoyed. "Why does it itch if its just air?!?" He snapped.

Tavros frowned. "It's called ghost pain or ghost itch. You're used to having something there, and now that it's not, your mind is making up for the loss..." He frowned slightly. "Vriska told me about it one day..."

His cheeks puffed and the crossed his arms. "This sucks."

"It won't be like this for long, I promise."

"If you say so.." He muttered.
