"Well, I uh..."How did he know his nerve was going to leave him so soon? "I-I lost my nerve already.... Wh-what if I do get rejected...? I-I don't want to lose them...." He grasped the little charm tightly, not having captchalouged it.

"Tavros...." He moved in closer, pulling him into a hug. "It'll be ok. Even if you do lose them, you'll always have other people in your life...and I doubt someone would leave because you said you love them...even if they don't return your feelings, they're bound to be flattered..."

He hugged the other back, burying his face in the other's chest. "But... Gamzee... I.... I don't... I don't want to..." He sniffled slightly. "I don't want to lose you, Gamzee..." He said softly into his chest.

The high blood, being the dense mother fucker he was, wasn't exactly sure what was happening. He was shocked, rubbing soothing circles in the brown blooded troll's back. "Shh. Shh. Tavros...why would you lose me...?"

Tavros looked up at Gamzee. "Gamzee... I don't want to lose you... if... if you don't feel the same as me... I mean..." He paled, worrying that Gamzee wouldn't get it. "I-I mean..."

Gamzee's face turned the darkest shade of purple it possibly could. "O-Ohhhh...you mean..." He just shut up and pulled the other to his lips, kissing him. "You're not going to lose me...." He whispered.

Tavros blushed the darkest brown as Gamzee kissed him, a small smile spreading over his face. "G-gamzee..." He hugged the purple-blood. "Y-you feel the same way??"

"Of coarse I do...who wouldn't feel like this for you? You're fucking awesome." He smiled. "I wish I would've known this sooner."

An opaque brown tear slid down Tavros' cheek "i.. I was really... really nervous...." He had been shaking slightly and still was. "I-I didn't want to lose my best friend...."

He frowned and kissed the tear away. "You're such a sweet kid..." He held him. "You will never lose me. Never."

"I'm glad...." He smiled up at the purple-blood. "H-here...." He held the necklace to Gamzee, showing a little Faygo shaped charm on it.

He smiled and took the gift. "It's so cute. Thank you.." He slipped it around his neck and took Tavros' hand. "Ready to come home with me?"

He smiled at the purple-blood and nodded. "Yeah.... I am."

The high blood nodded. "Alright, good." He started to head in the direction that lead back to his hive. "I was so worried that you were going to ask someone else out or something...." He smiled. "I'm glad you didn't. I would've been eat up with jealousy."

"I-I just... I couldn't imagine being happy with someone else." He squeezed Gamzee's hand. "You're so nice to me, no one else could make me be so happy."

He gave a soft sound of approval. "I know I couldn't be happy with anyone else......you're one of a kind."

He laughed softly. "Well, I'm glad!" He moved a bit closer to Gamzee as they walked before he stumbled over his own feet.

Gamzee's eyes went all wide and he attempted to catch the other, thrown off balance by the weight of the metal legs. He too managed to stumble, falling over flailing.

Tavros managed to keep Gamzee from falling onto his metal legs. "O-oh... s-sorry Gamzee...." He frowned.

He laughed. "It's fine..." He brushed himself off as he stood. "a bit awkward on your new legs huh? It must be hard getting used to them."

"It is... But, I've only had them for a day." He sat up and tried to force himself to stand

He watched the other carefully. "Need your chair?" He knelt beside him and kissed his cheek.

Tavros shook his head and managed to stand. "O-or actually.... I might..."

Gamzee set out the chair and pushed Tavros' into it. "You have to be careful or you'll over work yourself." He stroked the other's hair a little.

"I'll be careful... I promise..." He looked up at Gamzee. "Should we ride down the hill again?"
