that's true.It's funny,every Ryan I've ever known has been a quiet type.Meanwhile I know two Brian's ,and one of them is a really sweet guy,and the other is a seriously screwed up douche bag.He actually thinks he has a split personality that's a vampire,who's name happens to be the same as mine.He practices for real alchemy,like with his own blood and everything....He's pretty damn certifiable.

My entire name is very pretentious (still not up to sharing the full thing) My middle name is Hailey.

My partner and I have baby names picked out for the future....Melody Aleicia and William Theoden...first and middle name

My middle name is the same as my Great-Grandfather's.

I have the same problem. Almost every person I meet I unconsciously profile them based on their name.

i'm of the WHY DON'T I HAVE A MIDDLE NAME? variety ;___;

my first name is gabriela and my mom tacks on 'maria' for fun, but it's not my actual middle name.

So, neat story before I go into my name. I traced my family's lineage back to the earliest documented ancestors and every female is a "Mary". This continued up to my grandmother who is a "Mary Joseph(ine)". When she had kids she didn't do the whole "Mary" thing. My aunt's name is "Emily Joy" and my mom's is "Claire Ruth".

Now here comes me. My mom wanted me to be an "Olivia Grace" which is a nice name, but I don't really think it suits me. Then again I've only ever gone by my name and the various nicknames derived from it. Anyway, my name is "Mary Claire". My dad picked it. Yeah. I go by both names together, always have. It's interesting to go out with my grandmother and my mom and then introduce ourselves in order from oldest to youngest because people usually just give us this look like "I see what you did there." Yeah. But my name wasn't actually intended to be that way. XD It just happened. (My last name is... I hate my last name. Think of a certain movie. "Mr._____" and that's my last name.)

When I have kids one day I'm definitely going to have a "Jipsie Marie" and a "Haiden Jaymes". I just like the names so... yeah.

I ignore my middle name but I suppose it's slightly better than my first. Anne.

My middle name is Lynn, which I prefer over my first: Heather. My mom named me after her eye shadow, at least that's what she told me. Lynn was my aunt's last name as well. *jazz hands*

Considering my middle name is/was self-chosen, I'm relatively happy with it! It's Emrys.

My middle name sounds old but I've come to respect it because I named after my grandmother that died before I was born. It seems disgraceful to think bad of it.

I've always liked my middle name: Rose. It's pretty and it goes well with my first name (rather not share).

It was my great-grandmothers middle name, as well. My mom also loves to garden, so I've always thought it was appropriate.

My middle name is Elizabeth - after my maternal grandmother.

Wow most of you have such sentimental middle names. I have no idea where mine came from, my mom has no memory of where she got it or if it was even her who picked it at all.

My parents couldn't agree on a middle name for me, so I got two :D Mary and Rose. Mary is from mum's side of the family as every girl has Mary somewhere in her name so mum carried on the tradition with me and my sister. Rose is dad's side, it's the name of my Great Grandma, so my Dad's mum's mum XD And it's extra special for me and my grandma because I'm the only grandchild of 19 to be named after one of my grandma's family rather than my grandpa's which most cousins got middle names from XD
