I never liked my middle name .... Marie ... idk was never really fond of the name and the only person with that as a first name that I met was annoying as anything XP (sorry if that is your first name I'm not saying tat for all people named Marie haha)

I've wondered about middle names...is there a reason that people have them? :o Mine is basically my Chinese name, though for some reason the spelling of it is different on my passports.

I don't have a middle name. Even my Chinese 'first' name is only one character, when many people are given two characters for their first name. In English even more so, only have the surname and first name.

I once knew someone With about 8 or so middle names, apparently it's not so uncommon practice in Vietnam, which was her cultural background.

Originally, my first name was supposed to be Kerry-Jean.
But the hyphen made paperwork a pain, so my parents just decided to make Jean my middle name.

It's my grandmother's name, which is a nice family connection. Many of my relatives like to remind me of that, so they usually call me KJ. It's fun to have a built in nickname like that.

I think I'd rather have had no middle name than such a dull one. I think my mum picked Ann for mine just because she felt a child had to have a middle name, and she couldn't think of anything ._.

Her middle name is Catherine, which was my Greatnan's name. My Nan's middle name is Lavinia :O No idea where that came from.

i dont think its dull. i think it kinda ties your first and last name together into some cool sounding title or something.

Out of my four first cousins, only one doesn't have a middle name because they struggled enough to think of a first name for her so she gave herself an unofficial middle name of Ermentrude...I think she'll scrap that by the time she's in High School haha

In her defense, she is 6 but I laughed so hard when she told me that was what her name was xD When my aunt had twins the older two were allowed to pick the middle names and she wanted Stardust to be one of the middle names, but that was stamped on xD

hahahah xD there are alot of reasons why kids arent allowed to pick their own names, but ermentrude and stardust definatley make it to the top of the list.

Isla is just mad with her naming skills. Her sims are named some of the most bizarre things haha
