Watashi wa Fera desu.

Katakana and hiragana don't take too long to learn (kanji is another matter) so I hope you give them a shot soon. I personally feel like knowing those alphabets makes reading and writing easier versus using romaji.

私も自分で平仮名と片仮名を習う始めました。
最初は難しいけど、段々簡単になる。

Me also start learning hiragana and katakana by myself.
it is hard at the beginning, but it will slowly become easier.

英語と。。。中国語。
I forget which dialect though. Lmao. Oh I think Mandarin.
Though that brings up the fact that Nim is exposed to "Taiwanese" and doesn't know that; so maybe Nim's got a point about not having the talent to learn languages...

Expose to something that he is not aware of? O__O
How so? If Taiwanese... then it could be Hokkien, if it is dialect.
Mastering the two main east and west language is awesome.

No, Nim is aware of Hokkien, just not picked it up, like learned it.

Mastering mandarin alone is impressive if he did... supposedly the hardest language in the world for an English speaker to learn o.o

I think Mandarin is Nim's first language. Though, regardless of which one Nim learned first, got a better grip on Mandarin.

@Rette: XDDD It's still neat when people know different languages.

@Poet: Ugh, true. D; Makes me wish I had been more interested in learning Vietnamese when I was younger since I practically lived with a Vietnamese family. But that was before I had any interest in learning any language.

That sounds nice, why did you live with a Vietnamese family?
