I think you mean だいたい. Actually, in that sentence I don't think it's necessary to add だいたい.

I'm not sure if this is perfect, but I might suggest these corrections:

お手上げ- Like a ... "I give up" phrase, I think. P:
It makes more sense for me now because I typed that in Google Images and it brought up things like this:
Click on thumbnail for full view
Click on thumbnail for full view
Click on thumbnail for full view

And the context in which I saw it used was a picture of a monkey in a cage doing a similar pose.

オリ(檻)- Like cage, or cell maybe.
She said how the zoo is fun but the cages are small.

Here's the pic btw~

Ha! No wonder, I mess up the hiragana again for daitai. Reason why I only type in hiragana... cause I depend too much on kanji.

I see, I see...*note note*
why is ori in katakana?

That, I don't know. That's just how she had it. Maybe she didn't notice, maybe she was trying to emphasize... no real idea. xP

I notice that a lot of people will use katakana for words with uncommon or hard to write kanji because it still sets them apart from hiragana particles, but makes sure everyone can read them. It also can be a little fashionable: "ステキだね" looks better than "素敵だね" in some designs, for example.

Fried Rice. What is it in Japanese? (not in dictionary... must be some katakana?)

Usually I see it labeled as チャーハン.

If I may make a few suggestions... "である" form is used for textbook language, not spoken word so I probably wouldn't use it for forum posts. I'd suggest either "でしょう" or "かもしれない" (often shortened to "かも") for "probably". Although "まだ" means "still", I think it sounds a little strange in this context. I'd recommend something like "それでも" which could translate to "even though".

So maybe this would work better?
[それでも、おいしいかも♪]
Although, maybe "かな" would sound more natural at the end since it's vaguer.

I would use kamo/kamoshirenai, in that context.

いえ。ほんとにそんなにおいしいじゃない。

Hmm... There are a lot of ways to say "strange/weird" with slight nuances to them. Not sure if I can explain them very well, but here's some common ones:

面白いね [omoshiroi ne] That's funny/interesting. Doesn't mean strange, but kind of hints it if you're using it in the context of being polite and not outright stating it's strange
おかしいね [okashii ne] That's amusing/odd. Used a lot in all sorts of contexts. Not inherently rude but could be if you're saying it very bluntly.
変だね [hen da ne] That's strange/weird. I get the impression it's a bit stronger than "okashii". Kind of rude if used when talking about people, but probably fine if talking about a situation.
怪しいね [ayashii ne] That's strange/suspicious. You feel something is amiss/out of place. You have a bad feeling about something/someone.

And as a bonus, here's a rude way to say it:
変わっている [kawatteiru] A strange/peculiar person or thing. Literally means "changing", so it can be used in normal contexts too, but usually means you think the person in question is "weird".
