I guess the topic for discussion would be to the nature of "What're your favourite Canadian bands?"

I like Ashes of Soma quite a bit. They had a really good first album. Seems like every time I really like a band they're from Canada.XD I live right by the Canadian border though so I hear about a lot of smaller bands that come from there too.

Kind of necro-ing the thread, but I needed a relevant place to say that Rush is one of the best things to come out of Canada.

Haha, there are quite a lot of bands and Artist from my home of native land that I like. I think there is like 10 of them. I like, Great Big Sea, Bryan Adams, Marianas Trench (love them! Seen them like 4 times!), Simple Plan, Our Lady Peace, The Sheepdogs (they actually are from my home city), Arcade Fire, Hedley, Down With Webster, Barenaked Ladies to name a few.
