A yawn escaped the black-haired girl "good..." she cuddled into Dave again and closed her eyes.

He relaxed next to her, making an almost purr like sound.

She soon fell asleep once more.

Dave woke around six and got up, going and snuggling into John

John raised an eyebrow "Dave...?"

He mumbled and draped himself all over his best bro.

He shook his head. "if your gonna be draped all over me, you better be willing to play some video games..."

He was surprised by the calm reaction, perhaps even disappointed. He blew hot air all over John's neck in an attempt to further fluster him.

That sent him into shivers and squirms. "Daaaaaave!!" he moved away from him. "you punk..."

Dave busted into a fit of laughter, rolling around on the floor. "Ahaha.....I am sooo not a punk. That was just to good.."

"yeah yeah yeah..." he stuck his tongue out at the other. "now shut up before I make you watch Con Air with me."

"John, Jade, I'm home!" their dad's voice called as the door opened.

Dave sighed. "Meh. Make me shut up fag lord." He giggled. "After all, we all know your secret love for my older bro...."

"I so do not like your older brother.." he looked to the door. "Dave came over to hang out!!" he called to his dad, who showed up in the doorway.

"is he wanting to stay for dinner?"

"You do too. You want him all up in your room...in your bed." He snickered and acted like he was John. "Oh Dirk~!! I love you sooo much~! Come scoop me up and carry me away into the sunset like a damsel.." He burst into giggles. "Oh..I can;t really stay..Dirk probably is ready to yell at me for being out of school." He grinned at John. "You could come over and calm him for me."

John shook his head "No way dude, I told you I'm not into your brother!" he shoved the Strider slightly.

John's dad rolled his eyes. "well, come over whenever you like..." he walked away and down to his study, shutting the door and ignoring the fact Dave amitted he skipped school.

Dave snickered. "I'm sure he'd let you come to our house for a long, hot shower~~"

John shoved Dave toward the door. "don't you have some punishment to go receive?!" he asked, waving the other away.

Dave looked serious. "Dude, really, come over. He's less harsh when you're over.."

He looked at Dave. "oh fine... But you'd better keep the jokes to yourself." he said with a look before pulling his shoes and blue hoodie on.

Dave only gave a grin as a reply as they went into his house. Dirk glared and got ready to say something, but cut off as he saw John. He stared at the black haired boy for only a few seconds before putting back on his shades, clearing his throat. He was cooking something, defiantly not a cool guy thing to do. Dave could feel the anger radiating off of his elder brother. Clearly he hadn't wanted to be caught like this.. In his stupid rainbow dash apron and everything. He looked at John a bit longer before going to his cooking. "Sup?"

"we were chilling at my place a figured we'd come over here for a bit. I don't really feel like being in the house with my sick sister. .." John said, trying not to blush.

Dirk nodded slowly. "You're always welcome here." He set five plates of food down. "Gamz! Rose!" He yelled and two teenagers came running down, Gamzee looking a bit better today. They all sat and Dirk kept looking at John ever so often. "So John..." Dave was speaking. "Do you think You need to stay here tonight? I'm sure you don't want to get sick." Dirk shook his head. "If you think anyone is staying in that pigsty you call a room, you're sadly mistaken." This got a smirk from Dave. "Then maybe he should stay in your room." This shut Dirk up, and he simply seemed to find his plate suddenly interesting.

John looked at his plate. "uh, I um, don't think my dad would quite approve of me staying at a friend's house when there is school the next day..." he poked at the food with his fork.
