"'m not cute..." He muttered, looking away slightly.

Jade smiled and squeezed his hand. "You ready for the lab today Dave?"

"Yes you are~." Dirk hummed, looking at John with a smirk.

Dave nodded. "Yeah...I guess..."

"I'm not..." He looked at Dirk, trying to be all serious.

Jade hummed and walked them into the class. "It won't be too hard with me as your partner!" She giggled and looked at him.

Dirk nibbled his neck softly, trying to make him squeal again.

Dave nodded. "Yeah I know...but I need to help too."

John squirmed in Dirk's arms, a small squeak escaping him.

She shrugged "I know.. but I can help when you don't understand." She smiled at him then frowned, remembering their seats were basically on opposite sides of the classroom. "Darn it..."

Dirk laughed. "See, you're cute."

Dave got up and sat beside her, not caring that everyone looked at him strange for sitting in the wrong seat.

"I so am not..." He stuck his tongue out at Dirk.

"Well, hey there coolkid. Fancy seeing you over here." She laughed softly as Aradia walked over to them.

"Hey Jade! Dave!" She smiled. "You know you so took my seat right?"

Dirk shook his head. "Yes you are." He stated, snuggling against him.

Dave shrugged his shoulders and pointed at his own seat. "You can sit there."

John shook his head "nope"

Jade giggled softly. "Sorry Ara..." the other girl looked at them both and smiled. "it's okay. It puts me closer to you-know-who~" she said to Jade with a smile.

Dirk started torturing John's neck, blowing hot breath all over it. "Yes you are." He whispered in his ear.

Dave blinked. "Who?"

He shivered and goosebumps covered his arms. "p-prove it then."

Jade laughed "Sollux" she said in a soft whisper. "guy with the two different colored eyes."

Dirk nipped at him. "What is there to prove? You already seem ready to melt. That's adorable..."

Dave nodded. "Ohhh. Ok."

John squirmed slightly in Dirk's arms. "I am nott"

Jade laughed and watched as Aradia went to sit in Dave's seat.

The older Strider sighed. "You are..."

Dave threw his legs up on the desk, watching Aradia.

John looked at the older Strider boy. "Dirk..." he pulled away from him.

Jade hummed and looked to Dave before the bell rang for class to start.

Dirk frowned. "What's wrong...?"

Dave was clearly already bored. "I hate class.." He whined.

"I can't keep letting you kiss all over me..." he said looking at him. "Until I know here we are at."

The teacher droned on and on until he finally paired everyone off into groups of four to go and do the lab. Jade was with Sollux, Dave, and Aradia.

Dirk sighed. "Why not? Am I not doing a good job? Just relax John...I won't hurt you..." He looked confused. "Can't you trust me?"

Dave stared at the stuff they were supposed to do and sighed. "So boring..."

John blushed "I can trust you Dirk... I just... Are we dating now or something...?"

Jade shrugged. "oh, don't fret Dave~ It's easy!"

"coming from the girl who may as well have a doctorate in chemistry...." Aradia said, causing Sollux to snicker.

Dirk stood up. "Are we? I'd like to think we are.. I don't kiss on people I don't date.."

Dave groaned. "Ugh...You know I suck at school work..."

John looked up at Dirk. "Then... we are dating." He said with a nod.

Jade shook her head. "It's okay, I'm here to help!!"

Dirk gave a look that suggested he was quite pleased. "Well...that's good then." He settled back onto the couch.

John flopped down beside Dirk and looked at him. "Now what?"

Jade set up the experiment and ran them through everything slowly.

"You hang all over me and we do romantic stuff?"

Dave crossed his arms. "You shouldn't do all the work.."

"Hmm..." John leaned over against Dirk. "Okay then."

"I'm noooot" She said as she passed materials to Aradia and Sollux.
