She laughed softly and shuffled along with him.

He suddenly stopped, swooping her into a kiss

Jade made a noise of surprise and kissed Dave back, wrapping her arms around his neck.

He pulled her to the ground, holding her on top of him.

Jade blushed. "D-dave...?"

He was staring up at her. "Yeah."

"Trying to delay it even more?"

He sighed. "I'm going to miss you is all....."

"I won't be gone for long." She kissed him softly. "I promise. I'll be home before you even know it."

He frowned. "If you say so."

"Hey, no frowning cool-kid. Or we won't be video chatting tonight." She said as she wiggled out of his arms and stood

He whined. "You wouldn't do that to me!"

She shook her head. "Are you willing to find out?" She grabbed his hand and pulled him to be standing. "Now, shall we continue our shuffle home?"

He nodded. "We might as well..."

She took his hand in her own, lacing their fingers before resuming their slow walk home. "I'll text you as often as I can."

He nodded. "I'd like that."

She nodded. "Then that is exactly what I will do." She kissed his cheek

They were getting closer and closer to the house.

Jade stopped right before they got to her house.

Jade turned to see Equius standing there with her suitcase. "Ready to go Jade?" He asked, looking at her then Dave.

Jade nodded, kissed Dave's cheek. "I'll talk to you later Dave." She smiled at him and followed Equius to a blue sports car and got in.
