He waved, a little pout on his face.

Jade stuck her head out of the window as Equius revved the engine. "Hey, cool-kid!" She had turned so she could put her hands out and made a hand heart to him

He made one back, sunglasses hiding his sad eyes.

She blew him a kiss as they drove off.

Dave headed back home, plopping on the couch.

Later on that evening, Jade sent a text to Dave

He grinned.

She giggled when she got the text.

He logged into his video chat.

She pulled up the video chat client and put the call to Dave's computer, forgetting she still had soot and oil smudges on her face.

He looked at her. "Sup pretty girl?"

She giggled and waved. "Not much, cool kid!!" She smiled. "My hands are sore though"

"You're covered in oil." He laughed.

"Huh...?" She dug in her bag and pulled a mirror out to look at herself. Her eyes widened. "Oh holy cow!" She tugged her sleeve over her hand to wipe her face clean.

He was giggling at here. "You're so silly."

She looked at him, hand still against her cheek which was bright red. "o-oh...?"

He grinned. "You're being cute pretty girl."

She laughed softly. "well, its not my fault!" Kade turned and yelled to Equius. "where is my towel?" a light green blur flew at Jade's head "thanks!" she showed the towel to Dave. "look, he got me a work towel!" he laughed and used it to wipe the remainder of the oil off.

He stared. "wow..."

((he hasn't seen the bot yeeett!!))

"Yeah, he's a dork" she shrugged and tossed the towel aside. "how was your day though!"

He shrugged. "Ok I guess..."
