Dave grabbed her around the waist and pressed his tongue into her mouth. "Just as long as you're safe."

A red blush crept up Jade's face and she nodded. "I am safe." She nuzzled into his shoulder.

He held her there, stroking her hair. "I would...I don't even know what I would do..." His voice cracked up. "If something happened to you."

Jade looked up at him and kissed his jawline. "Nothing will happen to me..."

He closed his eyes and sighed. "I missed you..."

She resumed resting against Dave. "I missed you too, Dave" she said softly. "I, um, do have something really important I want to tell you that I realized over the weekend..."

He let go so that he could look her in the face. "Hm? Go ahead, what is it?"

Jade was rather red in the face. "Um" she looked down slightly. "Well... It seems really early to say this in our relationship but, we've kinda known each other so long..." She said, rambling slightly. "Well... I..." She dropped her voice. "Love you."

Dave's face turned into a rare smile. "It's not to early for that. I love you too. And I have for some time now."

Jade looked up at him with a smile. "Really? I'm glad." She kissed his cheek.

He nodded. "I have..even before we ever decided to date."

Jade once again was a shade of red that made tomatoes jealous. "Really...?"

"Mhm. I wouldn't have dated you if I didn't."

"I see..." She smiled up at him. "That makes me unbelievably happy"

"I hope so..." He looked a bit tired, his eyes droopy and his smile very small. But he'd already been sleeping tons, so that assumption would be illogical to make.

"Dave, are you okay?" She slipped her hand under his bangs t feel his forehead.

He shivered a little, head burning up. He was shuddering, eyes a little hazy.

Jade frowned and laid him down. "Wait right here." She got up and went to the bathroom and came back with a damp wash cloth and placed it on Dave's forehead/

He frowned a little. "I've been getting sick a lot lately it seems."

"it's okay." She kissed his cheek. "Want some apple juice?"

He nodded. "That sounds good."

She went down to the kitchen to get a cup with a lid and straw, put ice in it and then filled it with Apple Juice before going back to Dave and handing it to him. "Here you go!"

He took it with a forced smile. "Thanks."

Jade frowned. "Do you need anything else...?"

He shook his head. "Not really."
